Ok I was sceptical at first because I do fine finish and tolerance work, I figured for the price and the other reviews why not five inserts for my Ingersoll cost $135. Let me tell you it's a nice true cutter that with a lil better grade inserts has won a place as my favorite 2".......wish I could find 1",3",4" I know they are offered but they are not the gold color, they are black oxide or anodized which are not R8, they are for R8 collet and I think I will stay away from them......its always a good day when you find a $500 shell mill for under a hundred complete with inserts and it performs flawless

Great tool for the cost, I have used this cutter about a dozen times since I purchased it and the inserts are holding up great. There is little to no run-out when installed in my mill.

Great quality tools. Even though this is carbide, it does work quite well on aluminum. Each of the inserts seem to be perfectly lined up, with no single cutter jutting out farther than the rest. From now on I am only buying from Accusize since they seem like the best quality cutting tools on Amazon Prime.

AWESOME tool! I use it on my #44991 HarborFreight Sieg mini mill and it faces 1.25" aluminum perfectly!

I use this in a j head bridgeport at work to size wear plates for injection molding tools so materials like ampco 18 and copper impregnated CRS with thickness varying from .250" to .500", has absolutely no problems doing so, I have also done some 1" wide cuts with it (the cutters diameter) cutting both P20 tool steel and CRS and .050" cut depth. I run the tool at 1k rpm for most cuts and 1200-1400 for "finishing" cuts. I do recommend having a VERY rigid setup when using this tool because you SHOULD NOT baby this thing it WANTS to cut. I always have the quill all the way up in the head and locked. Make your cuts as close to the vise as you are comfortable with or you will get chattering. No regrets buying the cheapest one, I might get a larger model in the future for face milling.

These are absolutely perfect for hobby machinist use and I see no reason why they would not be great in a shop. Very well made and the price is right.

Very nice face mill, excellent surface finish cutting steel. Switching the inserts to C2 allowed nice finish on aluminum parts as well.

So good I bought the 3" version. Very good quality for the price.

Excellent Value. Excellent fit and finish. All the Accusize products I've purchased have been A+.

I first used this to surface a 14 x 8 inch stainless steel plate, and it was great. Even on small cuts with only a couple of mils removed, it cut steady and smooth. You could shave in the finish when done.
