Great Microphone for most tasks. Great as a gaming microphone.

The way my computer desk was set up it, I was having issues with running over my headset cord or the cord just getting tangled in general. It seemed like the headset speakers would work fine but friends complained about the microphone levels going up and down consistently. I decided a stand alone microphone would be the ideal replacement as the cable could be routed and managed since it would stay in on general spot. After some research I decided a Mic stand would be important as this Microphone while having great reviews for the sound was reported to need a close proximity to be heard clearly. I will say the stand is very nice. I can leave it attached to my desk and move it right up to my face when I want to use it. When not in use it can be turned and bunched up to take up very little space. The microphone does a great job of giving a true sound and works extremely well. It does help to have a stand though as you do need to be fairly close if using a normal speaking voice for others to hear you clearly.

I thought I was just buying the mic stand. I was baffled when I opened the box and there was also a mic. So basically this a $20 mic stand. I thought I was getting and expensive one. I went back to the listing and saw that I misread it. So that's totally my fault. With that being said it's actually a decent mic stand. However, keep in mind this is the only mic arm I have experience with. The mic is good. I had actually already bought the same mic so now I have two blue snowballs. Luckily that works out. My son is using the one to stream. So I'm an idiot who made a mistake that worked in my favor and all products here are good. The mic is clear and simple to use. The arm is clipped to my desk and I just pull it down when I need it.

This microphone is great!

This microphone is great, it's EXTREMELY clear & crisp over calls and recordings. Would highly recommend this microphone to anyone that uses their computer for gaming or just calls in general. You get very good quality for only a $75 microphone. Does not pick up much background noise and has no static noises that some microphones have whatsoever. Would personally rate this higher than the Blue Yeti PRICE WISE. Best value for your money

Looks and sounds great, works for consoles

Very easy to setup & install

Very easy to setup & install, incredibly clear audio quality. The only "problem" I have is getting the mic into the exact right spot so that I can speak into it clearly but it's not in my way. But even then I've found that having the mic to my side pointed at me is enough to pick up audio with no noticeable degradation in quality.

Budget Friendly & Does The Job, Its That Simple!

I read many reviews before buying this boom arm, pop filter and mic combo and some were less than favorable while others praised the item, but either way I figured that I'd check it out for myself. With that being said, to put it simply you're only spending $75, and in combination with a good editing software, whether you're using this for music, podcasting, making videos, etc, this bundle is worth it. It's a budget setup and it isn't a bad one at that. It's a wonderful starter kit and you'll certainly get more than what you paid for out of it and that's just me being real!

Good but make sure your get your software.

Great, but could be better for sure. the weight of the arm vs the weight of the mic is something that needs to be worked on. Pop filter is nice good quality. the mic is great, nice audio capture nice. But for Blue. This mic needs a paired software even if its basic. without it the quality of the mic is average at best. Even basic software would be nice.

I am giving the microphone and pop filter 5 stars. But if I could rate the boom stand, I would give it a 3 or 4. MIC PROS: - Extremely clear voice quality. Drastic improvement from my headset. - Sleek design. - Mounts to boom stand easily. MIC CONS: - Took forever for my computer to recognize the mic. I spent a good 30 minutes searching for drivers that would enable my computer to use the device. POP FILTER PROS: - Attaches to boom stand easily. - Very simple to move the neck around to where you need it. - Good quality. POP FILTER CONS: - None that I can think of. BOOM STAND PROS: - Decent quality. BOOM STAND CONS: - Does not stay secure when you tighten the bolts. - You can easily move the stand away from you by just grazing against it when it is supposed to stay secure. - Can only move the arm up and down at the one joint, not back and forth as well. I enjoy using this bundle when I game, but the boom stand can be a bit frustrating because of the cheap quality of the bolts that they used to attempt to secure it in place. I would buy the mic and pop filter again in a heartbeat but would get a different boom stand.

Great Product Bundle For Starting in Commentary

If you ever wanted to get your foot in the door with anything related to recording your voice? If that is anything like: Vocal recording for music, Commentary for Youtube, or streaming on a Livestream platform? This product bundle does the job! I’ve had this setup for a while, ane what makes it so good is for a variety of reasons. First, let’s start with the Blue Snowball. When I got this Usb Mic. I had lower expectations of quality but was really surprised by it’s sound. The two complaints would be: “Jeez, It catches that poping sound when I say something wrong *Like saying “P” or “S”*.” Or “Why does this stand it comes with has to be so stubby?” Lastly, It’s 50$ for this microphone. So it isn’t the best ever for any price range. No worries as this bundle basically redeems those complaints of the device by adding a good quality Pop Filter.(also a good item to buy for any condenser Microphone) and that sweet Boomarm that makes you feel like a true Youtuber! Bottom Line, this device bundle is great for it’s price- and I’d truly recomend it for anyone who wants to begin in commentary for whatever reason. -Jonathan Gangl
