"We want our apartment to be like this too!" said my kids when they saw the newly organized backseat.

After years of driving around with two kids, unfinished snacks, endless paperwork from daycare and school, art projects, wet mittens and hats, pieces of puzzles and travel games, gum (chewed), pez candy, books, and other completely random detritus spread so much over our car that it became hard for my children to get in and out. Every now and then I would spend an hour raking the trash out, but it would only take two afterschool activities that require snacks in the car to bring everything to its normal intolerable state. Finally I broke down and started googling this problem. Lo and behold, it's not my uniquely high tolerance for messy cars and pathologically low organization skills that are to blame for the unlivable conditions; apparently, other people suffer from the same problems (although maybe not the same degree) and other frustrated parents have been looking for ways to bring order to life on the backseat. And what's even more amazing, there are parents who are geniuses and have come up with ways of turning car travel with kids into a pleasant experience that might even trick you into believing that it's not the genius container but you yourself have changed. Perfect! I recently moved from San Diego to Minnesota and packing this organizer full of my 2 year olds stuff made the drive really smooth for her. Since she's two it all eventually ended up on the floor of the car but it kept her occupied through the 4 day drive(though half the credit will go to sing-a-long toys....that the Organizer housed!!) She'd just find more things to play with, a surprise in a box, if you will. It's sturdy, has a strap for buckling it in, it folds up into a tiny square and the folds don't ruin it's structure. I would repurchases this or buy for a friend! *Cat approved*

Helps keep Mommy sane when the toys threaten to take over the car!

I am in LOVE with this. I got it to sit in the middle seat of my van, between my 2 kiddos car seats. I strapped it in and it stays put and doesn't slide of the seat if I have to stop quickly. Ours is holding books in the back section and toys in the front. It keeps things under control and mostly within reach of my boys. I am a far less distracted driver now that my kids can grab their own entertainment - and I am also much happier having somewhere that can contain all the little toys that like to travel around with us... so they aren't always just all over the floor, under the seats, between the seats, behind the seats, everywhere... driving me nuts. Ugh. This just helps bring a little bit of sanity into the life of this Mommy with 2 small boys.

Excellent craftsmanship

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this organizer! It is exactly what I am looking for to keep all those 'things you need' in a vehicle, but do not really have space for in your glove box or console. I can imagine it would be perfect to store children's items in for families or for snacks on long drives. Made very well- very sturdy. I expect this to last a long time.

Perfect front-seat passenger-side floorboard container for single drivers!

This is the perfect container for the floorboard in front of my front passenger seat. It is large enough to easily hold two spare C-sized oxygen bottles, a gallon of windshield wiper fluid, a pair of thick winter snow-shoveling gloves, a folded-up pair of windshield reflectors, a couple of sealed oxygen calendulas, and the dogs' 25-oz. stainless steel double-walled water bottle. I like the divider being placed off-center - I can put the "softer" things in the small side, and the heavy large items in the large side, and nothing gets damaged or squished. It's as if the manufacturer looked at all the loose things rolling around in my front passenger floorboard, then designed this basket to hold everything upright, secure and safe. And while the length pretty much takes up all available space from the front of the seat to the front of the floorboard space, it doesn't use the entire available width (console-to-door), so I can still shove my shoulder bag, oxygen bag, and/or a small soft-sided cold-drinks bag down on either side of the basket.

I don't have kids like most reviewers

I've bought probably close to 1000 things on Amazon over the years and never written a review. The fact I'm writing one now show say it all. This thing is legit. The quality is 5 star. The design, functionality, and whatever other categories you can come up with... 5 stars. I got black with red stitching. Matches the red stitched interior of my car perfectly. I has two cupholders,a pocket w/zipper and plenty of room for whatever u got. I don't have kids like most reviewers. It's great for road trips. Throw some snacks, books, tablets, drinks whatever. Just buy it. Buy two. You won't regret it

LOVE it!

LOVE it!!! Im not one to usually leave reviews but this has been a must have on our long car rides that I though it was about time!! Exactly what I was looking for and made with high quality materials so I know it will last a long time even with 2 crazy boys! I can fit everything I need from diapers/wipes for both boys, toys, books, sippy cups, bottles and STILL had extra room! And if you're anything like me...our car is always a crazy mess with everyones needs and this has been such a lifesaver to keep our car organized and my sanity! :) Thank you Lusso Gear for making such a great car organizer!!

A parents dream!

This is amazing! It fits perfectly between my two kids car seats and it holds everything they need for a long trip. It has multiple mesh pockets, and large areas for storing bigger items. I used the front section for snacks and drinks and the back for books, markers, white boards. It worked perfect for me. The kids can grab what they need during the drive without assistance and put it right back without fishing the seat for a easily re-accessible spot! And the best part.. when it's not in use or if you need to clear a spot for another passenger, it folds up and can go right back in the box! Super easy! MUST HAVE if you have long drives with kids or just want to keep kids activities in the car! Lovveee this!

Would highly recommend

Exactly what I needed. Sturdy fabric and stitching. Sides are strong but also give just enough. Several pockets to organize everything.Handles make it very easy to cart in and out. We are in the truck all the time this was exceptional when it came to what I could store in it. And I still had room for more! I'll put some photos as well. I can put 2 side by side in one seat(great for multiple kiddos) 👍🏻Love it!

Secured with a seat belt

I pick my 1st grade niece up from school and my backseat can fill remarkably quickly with kid stuff. Some actually belongs in the car, some needs to go in the house and some is garbage. But it was all getting intermingled. I had a different organizer in the back set for her previously, but it fell victim to a blueberry smoothie spill that didn't get rinsed off in time. I was actually on Amazon to buy the same one when this came up as another option. The top selling feature for me is that you can secure it with a seat belt, so it doesn't slide or fly around when braking abruptly in traffic. The other one didn't have this feature, so we ended up having to set it on the floor (where it kindly caught most of the blueberry smoothie instead of it going on the carpet). This one is also a bit bigger, which wasn't a bad thing. When the package came, I gave my niece the product box and left her to figure it out. She got it out of the packaging and popped open but was still a little befuddled. I gave her some hints and she got excited and ooohed and ahhhed over it and got very motivated to organize. She had some difficulty getting something so light secured with a seat belt, so I helped with that. Putting it in the middle would have hidden where her seat belt plugs in, so we put it in the other passenger seat in the back, where it fit perfectly. I gave her a garbage bag and set her to cleaning up the back seat and putting stuff in the organizer, while I tackled the trunk with my own new organizer. We are definitely related, because when she discovered the pockets on the organizer, she got extremely excited that she could separate things better. She said it was my best idea ever, which I think translates to it being a good idea. I've definitely had some better ideas. Like paying for the 3D Beauty and the Beast tickets but not going myself. Lol. I got extremely excited to have both my back seat and trunk put in order during that little impromptu 15 minute organizing session and a few treasures were found along the way that now have their own special places to live in the organizer, rather than cluttering the floor.
