Very easy to set up.

I have used 3 RF unit5s in the past 4 years and they all failed to connect to the transmitter after a while. I received this package and the next day I charged the unit, plugged it into my Samsung Smart TV and it worked great. I use Bluetooth headsets to listen to music and recorded books. Now I uses the same headset to listen to TV, while my wife reads.

Great Transmitter

This was more of an impulse buy but I am actually glad that I had purchased this. I had a pair of headphones specifically for my TV but these after a few months really gave me a hard time. Like many, I own Bluetooth headphones and would use them on my phone or tablet but now I use them to watch TV. Set up was fairly easy and I was able to pair different types of Bluetooth headphones so that's a great win. The sound will obviously vary depending on the Bluetooth speakers or headphones you are using. I didn't notice any latency but your results could be different to mine. As you can see from the images that I have added the transmitter is very minimalistic and almost takes up no space at all. The transmitter will do only that transmit. For volume controls, you will have to rely on the volume control or your Bluetooth device.

Great!

I do not have smart tv’s and needed to hook up bluetooth headphones. This worked great. Had some trouble because I originally connected to tv audio and did not work. No sound coming out of headphones (yes they were paired). I decided to plug into audio on my cable box and it finally worked. Just a tip for you that are not tech savy like me. Once I did that, everything worked great. Update: Loved it so much I ordered another one for my other tv so I do not have to keep moving it. Tonight neighbors having huge party in there yard and with my wireless headphones I can not hear a thing.

Works well for TV sound

Paired this bluetooth receiver with a pair of bluetooth earbuds. They work well together. My husband can't hear well so he always needed the TV volume high. But it was so high that the volume bothered me. Now I can listen to the TV sound comfortably and my husband can use the earbuds to crank up the volume just for him. I can even mute the TV volume to the room and the earbuds continue to provide sound to my husband. We plugged the transceiver into the cable box via the USB (for power) and to the red/white sound ports. The earbuds need to be recharged periodically with the provided power cable. Works great - cheap - but too many questions

Update since writing my original review: This is hands down THE most questioned item I have ever purchased on Amazon. Look how many questions - 130+ and counting. It is $26. It works. I have never seen so many odd questions over such a cheap part. Reviewer be warned! Ha! Purchased this transmitter after dog chewed chord on old one. I dare say I am glad the dog chewed the old one - but sure am glad to have this as the replacement. We use it for TV to bluetooth speaker pool-side and have no complaints. The TV even recognizes the device when plugged in to the audio jack. VERY NICE.

I love this receiver for my old Bose speakers

I have an old pair of Bose Companion2 Series II speakers that sound great. I had been connecting them directly to devices to play music but wanted to reduce some of the wire clutter on the desktop. It was very easy to set this device up to receive signals from all of my devices. I've had it connected to an Amazon Fire tablet and an iPad Pro. Connected right away without problems. No signal drops so far after weeks of near continuous use. The tablets are only a few feet away from the receiver. A great way to breathe new life into an old but good quality set of non-Bluetooth speakers.

This is PERFECT! My car is able to have bluetooth

OMG!!!! This is PERFECT! My car is able to have bluetooth, but I didn't want to pay the $300 to have it enabled. Of course my car doesn't have the normal aux cord outlet, it has the Red and White VGA ones. I was skeptical at first, but this is one my top 10 things ever bought on Amazon! I charge it about twice a week (I just leave it in my car overnight since my car charger will charge without the car being on). It only takes about an hour to charge. I use it with my iPhone and Spotify EVERY DAY!

This Works!

Solved my problem perfectly. Was able to connect my older tv to my surround sound system with this bluetooth receiver. It was easy to hook into my tv jack and it connects via bluetooth to my surround sound system effortlessly. Been using awhile now and have had no issues.

1st Reviewer Of The Product! So far.....impressed!

I am the 1st reviewer of this product. The item arrived well packaged and with all cables mentioned. After charging the unit, which took about 1 hour, I turned it on and waited for the blink. It immediately paired to my headphones, and I was able to finally get some wireless sound from my quite old Samsung 720p plasma. One thing that impressed me was the manual. I know nobody reads instructions anymore.....but this manual is the most complete and comprehensive well written manual I have seen for these type of electronics. I haven't tested it with two headphones (which is the reason I bought it) but once they come in, I will update my review. Update 9/27/18: Works in dual transmission.
