It works perfectly because it is an original Nintendo USA AC adapter, not a knock-off. It was promptly shipped in padded sleeve by the seller ("Delaware") such that both the Nintendo retail box and adapter arrived in perfect condition.

As Advertised!

Though I wish it were cheaper, this item is the real deal. Officially licensed by Nintendo and works with the old DSi and 3DS and the New DS devices that came out in 2020 like the 3DS XL and New 2DS etc.. Don't buy a knock off, definitely worth the money for high quality and 100% compatibility. Definitely recommend!

Not Made in China

The one I got is actually at a pretty neat quality. It feels firm, well cut and sealed, and not with cheap plastic... it is definitely more dense and you can feel the slight weight. 10/10 Will purchase again if I trip on it one day, hopefully it can survive, will update on that.

It's a wall adapter.

It plugs in a wall. It plugs in a 3DS. Power goes from point A to point B. It's the boxed accessory quality you expect from Nintendo.

A Good Charger.

This is a great charger I’ve had no issues with it. I strongly recommend this one over other crappier cheaper alternatives.

Charge it without trouble

I finally purchased this one, i purchased one that was supposed to charge the New 3ds xl but after a week it didn't. People should be aware that the charger for the New 3DS XL and the normal 3DS its not the same, it may look the same but it isn't.
