Not sure why this has negative reviews, I'm thinking user error. This took me about 5 minutes to put together, the directions were more than satisfactory... that and the fact the entire thing has maybe 1/2 a dozen parts, we're not talking quantum physics here. I've laid grub control, fert, weed killer, seed, etc on a 40k sq/ft front yard and this works as it should (tho I do refill it often, worth it for the price of it). No sign of it falling apart anytime soon.

I wasn't sure with the reviews but I thought for the price why not. It was cheaper than any of the big box stores had. I found it easy to assemble, load, and use. I didn't have any flipping problems, and it cast a good even coat of fertilizer on my yard. I am just a regular homeowner and don't have any major jobs for it but I'd day for light duty it's perfect.

Husband loves it! Perfect for larger areas to be seeded or fertilized etc.

This product took me about 15 minutes to put together. Delivery was very fast. I like the idea of having pneumatic tires on it should last a long time.

To start out with assembly was quite easy. It took me right at 20 minutes from the time I open the box till I had it hooked up and ready to go. All the parts were in the box and I had no issues at all with assembly. For a $65 spreader I was quite surprised as to how well it is put together. I have just under one and a half acres and this old John Deere that I use to pull things around with less wear and tear on my zero turn. As you can see by the photos it has a nice even spread when it is coming out and continues as long as you maintain a steady pace. My only complaint with the whole thing is that I feel that the adjuster for allowing the fertilizer to come out could be built a little better. It took me a few minutes to get it dialed in to the right setting but once I figured it out it was good to go. So for what I spent on this I am quite happy. I do recommend if you are looking for a inexpensive spreader.

Very easy to put together and was done in a little time. Great instructions and the bolts and nuts were numbered so you knew where they went. I used the spreader for my yard with grass fertilizer and it worked great. After the 1st run the fertilizer wasn't coming out as much, but once I got it to the right setting, it was game on. Very happy customer.

Works great for grass seed and fertilizer/weed preventer. Very lightweight but sturdy.

Set up and installation to my mower was fast. Capacity for one large 35lb bag of fertilizer with some room to spare. Advertised broadcast width is met as you increase travel speed. Started at a slower speed on my lawn and it was broadcasting about the same width as my mower. Working as expected, I had to reach behind and shake the unit while driving to get the last bits through the drop hole. Glad I didn't pay 2-3x more for higher end models.

I have no clue what everyone is talking about with plastic and bad gears/levers/parts! Maybe they’ve listened to the customers from 2017 and 2018 and made a better version? The drive which controls the fan rotation and the lever that sets the opening are metal. The covering over the metal parts is plastic to protect it from the elements. There doesn’t appear to be a way to attach pictures from the mobile otherwise I’d show you it is NOT plastic! Most of the wear and tear parts are metal with the exception of the hopper, inflatable wheels, and the little fan that distributes the product from the hopper. The drive which determines how fast the little fan spins to distribute the product, rotates based on the speed you are going. This is hooked to the same metal bar that rotates the wheels and then to the part that rotates the fan. The best features are with the lever that controls the amount of product used. First there is an OFF! Most you just close or set to the lowest number and they don’t always STOP! Second, it is easy to reach from the tractor seat! I don’t have to get off the mower, yippeee! What I didn’t like is that there isn’t a cover that comes with it. Yes you can spend 18 more bucks but it is not a cover it’s a grate. With no axial if you turn too sharp it tips over grate or not you just dumped your product! I ended up finding a drawstring bag and using that for a lid, works great! This lid issue is why it didn’t get 5-stars! I’m sure that I’m not using all the proper names because I’m not a mechanic, but hopefully this is a non-techie view. The machine operates exceptionally well, and I can easily compare it to the ones costing $250 dollars. The mechanisms are all built the same with the exception of the hopper and the fan which distributes the production; in the $250 spreader these are metal. However, both still only spread 4’. If you spend more $400, you can get a spreader with an axial; this doesn’t have one so don’t make sharp turns or it will tip over! The wheels on this are big and far better than the $250 one I had! I highly recommend this! I have almost 3 acres and was spending nearly $700 each application of weed and feed, now with this $70 item I can do it for under $200 for each application. It’s a great value and as you can see from the savings, even if it lasts one season I’ll still save 4 times the money! Assembly took about 15 minutes. The instructions are just pictures and take a bit of guess work and assumptions to comprehend what they are trying to show. If you’ve never seen or used a spreader, it could become a frustrating experience and take you an hour or so! Frankly, I don’t understand why they can’t just put it together with the exception of the hitch because the box has plenty of room; it would increase their customer experience 10 times! Hope this helps!

Used it first time last night. Work great. Easy putting it together. I have no trouble adjusting the level lever from my seat while driving the riding lawn mower. I put 50 lbs of fertilizer in it and there was no problem pulling it over rough dirt patches.
