Beautiful and useful

I got this as a birthday gift for a dear friend's one-year-old. She loves it! My friend loves music, so I thought this would be a fun way for her daughter to play and experiment with sounds. This toy is well-made and produces clear, beautiful notes with helpful markings of which note is which. Highly recommend!

Great gift

With a little guy who was hitting everything in sight this xylophone was great, even came with 2 sets of mallets (one was wood the other was plastic).

Cute music toy.

I love this little toy. It looks cute in our play room where most of our toys are wooden. I love the simplicity. My 18 month old likes it, she won’t play with it for long periods of time, but I like having music toys available for her. I think it’s definitely worth the price and sturdy. It does have screws, but it is very well made and I don’t fear any small parts breaking or coming off.

Perfect C scale...not that my chickens know the difference, but I do. Well made. I'm not worried about the chicks tearing it up. Yes, I bought this for my chickens. :D

My toddler loved it. Gave it to him as a birthday gift. He was banging random metal sticks around the yard and calling it "xylophone". This is a definitive upgrade in the noise he created. This thing has a very pleasant sound. It looks beautiful and is well constructed. It's great that it came with two sets of mallets so mommy or daddy could also join in on the fun.

What you'd expect

This is definitely what you'd expect: a basic glockenspiel that littles can use to begin exploring the world of music. I wanted this versus the ones you can buy that are plastic or electronic as we are following the Montessori style in our home. My 17 month old is definitely enjoying it. As a music major I also love that it comes with both plastic and wooden mallets for different sounds.

Fun!

My son loved it and he is 13 months, sits and plays and loves to do it on his own. The sticks do go straight to his mouth so watch them when they have the sticks so they do not walk with them at the same time. So if he isn't using it I put the sticks up and they go down when he shows interest in it.

Very Nice Tone

This item was shipped in the time they gave and was a real delight when I open it and tested it out before giving it as a present to my granddaughter who loves music. Now no more using glasses. This sound is pleasant & easy to listen to and made very sturdy. The appearance is colorful and made appealing to whoever opens it and uses it. Entirely well made and the fact that the base is nice looking wood the real thing makes it so much nicer. It makes a very nice gift.
