I was skeptical of the Catit Design Fountain and Feeder before I purchased but I wanted a water fountain that was easier to clean and change the filters and the price was right. I love the fountain and the feeder and what is even better is my cat loves them. The water fountain is really cute with the water running out of the little flower on top and best of all, it is so easy to clean and replace the filters. The feeder has a little hole on top you put the food in and it is just comical to watch my cat stick his little paw in to fish the food out. It took him a little while to figure out both "new" bowls but in less than 2 days he was a pro! Would I recommend these...absolutely yes! Shipping was quick and the company has even contacted me to get in touch if there were any questions or concerns.

I have the Catit Senses fountain (the blue one), and these work just fine in it. They do feel a little cheaper than the Catit brand ones - but that's because they are. I haven't noticed a difference in quality of the filtration. It seems like a lot of the 1 star reviews are people who bought filters that weren't made for their fountain or people who expect a filter to replace cleaning the fountain periodically: - Before you buy these, look closely at the filter that came with your fountain - if it looks different than these, they probably won't fit. These filters have a hard plastic tray with a thin foam layer on top. The stainless steel fountains come with a thin carbon filter, which is why these filters don't work in them. - I clean fountain about once a week, and top off the water every couple of days. By doing regular maintenance, these filters last about 2 weeks each. So it comes out to approximately $5/month - totally worth it to help my cat drink more water, per the vet's recommendation.

I have been using this replacement filter for 1 1/2 years in my flower fountain and have had no problems. Soak your filter in a bowl of clean, cold water for several minutes, then run fresh cold water through for another minute before installing. Many of the problems other reviewers have had would be dismissed if they had soaked first (which removes pockets of air in the product). Air prevents water flowing properly through your fountain and tends to make the filter float upwards. I agree that it doesn’t fit exactly the same, but I have never had any trouble with mine. I have not experienced “slime” as some have said, either—which is more likely a result of not cleaning often enough. That said, I dismantle and wash my fountain every 5-7 days and replace the filter every 7-10 days. I have three cats. Perhaps people don’t realize that getting a cat fountain does not mean that you can just walk away for weeks without cleaning it. Your pet is leaving its saliva every time it drinks, so understand that your fountain is getting more impure with each passing day. Ask yourself, would I drink out of this today? If you think not, then it’s time to clean it!

The Catit fountain is amazing. We do rescue work and have several rescue kitties in the house. All but one of the cats love, love, love this fountain. WE love this fountain. It is really low maintenance. Even with all the kitties, once a week cleaning does the job. I imagine if we had one or two kitties it would be less often. These filters are a really GREAT value. A month and a half worth of clean filters for a very low price. besides the great price, the quality is awesome. If you have a cat or dog and don't have a Catit fountain....You need one for sure, and if you have a Catit fountain I would strongly recommend these filters. For quality and value, you can't go wrong. I did not receive this product or the fountain for free. We purchased both.

I have a Catit flower fountain for Steve. She really loves the constant fresh water from it. I clean the filter every Sat or Sun by rinsing it under hot water and shaking it out. Once a month I replace the filter with one of these to keep the water fresh and clean. All you do is open the package, rinse down the carbon, shake it off and place it in the Catit fountain and you are good to go. Simple, easy, effective!

I love these things and have been using them for almost two years, so I was surprised by some of the negative reviews on it. I feel like some people may not understand a few key concepts with the filter so here’s some advice: 1: If your “filter floats to the top”, than you are overfilling your fountain. The water line should always remain below the filter level. It’s a gravity filter. 2: Someone called out the charcoal and ion(?) packets inside of the filter like they were disappointed it wasn’t covering the entire filter area? That’s normal, relax. They absorb bad stuff by being exposed to the water. They don’t need to cover the entire filter with charcoal and ion pellette packets.... You could literally drop them in the bottom of the fountain and they would still remove Impurities. They aren’t supposed to be sediment filters. The water cycles through and some of it flows over the packets, some of it doesn’t. In a few seconds that same water will cycle back through and some of it flow over the packets, some of it won’t... eventually, all of the water will have been exposed to the packets so they are doing their job. 3: I’ve never had a fit issue. These fit better than the originals. They usually have a little extra overlap which works even better for getting a snug good fit. 4: I have four cats using one cat-it fountain. These filters are usually still in good shape 2 weeks after putting a new one in...usually. Sometimes I think my fattest cat washes his face in it. If you rinse your fountain out weekly (recommended), rinse the filter off as well and you can surely get two weeks out of it without much concern. Any longer and I’d be concerned about bacteria. 5: The plastic goes down. Foam filter faces up. 6: If your water is foamy, clean the fountain! Gross. Scrub your fountain and soak it in a bleach solution for a few minutes. Install a new filter and your cats will thank you. Bacteria will eventually grow in the fountain. This isn’t an antibacterial filter people. Your cats mouths are all over it, clean that thing regularly!

I own the Catit flower fountain. I've previously purchased the Catit brand filters designed for the flower fountain. However, after noticing the last filter clogged up *much* more quickly, in maybe less than two weeks, than the previous ones (which admittedly might not be the filter's fault), I was not excited about spending $12 for two filters. I found this listing, and at $10 for 6 filters, so nearly 4x cheaper, I decided to give them a chance, and I'm pleased I did. THey look exactly the same as the brand name, fit the flower fountain perfectly, and so far are working just as well. Edit: The first filter lasted about a month. I didn't bother trying to rinse off all the hair/etc to get further use out of it, so it probably could've been stretched a bit longer.

I bought these for my CatIt Flower Fountain, and they work great. Off-brand, but they look and fit exactly like the originals but at a fraction of the price. My cat Nimitz drank from the fountain right after I put the new filter in and he seemed to think it tasted good - he drank from it like I hadn't had the water out all along! I've attached a pic too so you can see that it fits well. ETA several months later: These are performing exactly like the name brand ones. I get a month of use out of them before replacing, which is exactly what I did with the others. It could maybe be stretched longer if I rinsed them and tried to clean off the cat hair & food, but it isn't worth it to bother with that to me. I just replace the filter and run the fountain through the dishwasher on the 1st of every month.

We have two cats that must be separated so that calls for two fountains. That means we go through more filters. I've given these filters 4 stars because I've only been using them for about 2 months but so far I'm VERY happy! 5 stars will be given after I've used them for a few months. I'm conservative with my reviews since I rely heavily on them myself. Update: This is the second batch that I've bought so I've upgraded my review to 5 stars. Neither I nor my cats can tell any difference from the more expensive filters. 👍 I would recommend these filters to everyone.

These filters fit my Catit Flower Water Fountain perfectly and my cat still seems happy with it. A+ product and pricing. Individually wrapped, major plus! UPDATE: 04/15/17...used one of these filters in my Catit Flower Fountain for close to a month and the water was still looking very clean and filter has no mold or problems. I try to clean and change water at least every week or two. The orange coloration I saw on lots of other reviews are probably from hard water or something else in the water, not the filters. I've had no problems and my cat is still happy with it. Just put in a new filter and he was drinking out of it a minute later. So glad I found this product because it's definitely going to save me $!
