Safer than the hook fishing toys

Super cute. Very affordable price point. Much easy for toddlers to play than the ones with hook instead of magnet Bright and colorful Magnets are not very strong, hence easy for toddlers to separate the fish from the rod.

Best quality and choice for younger kids.

I debated for a while between this set and some others that had working reels and line. Ultimately, since my kids are only 1 and 2, I decided on these for now, as I knew they'd be of better quality and durability for younger children. I think I made the right decision. My 2 (almost 3) year old enjoyed fishing for these in and out of the tub! My 1 year old just saw it as a weapon to hit his sister with, kind of as expected. I liked that the line is a good quality, fast dry fabric and not long enough to become wrapped around a child's neck. The fish are completely sealed so no concerns for mold growth. The magnets are strong enough for a quick connection every time. My daughter's been reeling in both directions and had no issues with the reel jamming or breaking yet. Ultimately, if you are buying for the older crowd, probably 4 and up, I'd suggest going for another set with a working rod and reel and more fish. Older kids will get bored with this set quickly. But it's perfect for the younger kiddos and entertains them with a well constructed, quality toy that appears to have the durability to endure the punishment their toys are given when thrown, stomped on and banged about!

Durable and clean and most importantly fun!

This is our second “Fishin’” toy and it’s perfect. We keep one in our beach bag for our pool trips and one in the tub. This toy specifically is extremely durable and doesn’t have any places that will get moldy like in a lot of other bath toys. No only do I approve of it as far as durability and cleanliness but my kiddos (1-1/2 and 3)love it! They love the clicking reel and catching the toys and throwing them back to catch again!

Great learning and playing toy

Very fun and cute! My baby loves taking it in and out of the bath. Love how it makes the sound of winding up. I wish it came with more "fish" to catch. Three isn't very many. But it helps with hand and eye coordination and makes it fun. She's really good at it! Helped a lot too.

Super cute, great toy!

Such an adorable toy. The little person, octopus/pentapus (only has five nubby little arms, not eight) and fish ball are super cute. The magnet is the perfect strength to easily connect but allow a child to detach them with ease. The little rod makes a clicking sound but does not reel in or out. I haven't actually put this in the water because I am concerned that water would get into the toys and start molding. The seams of the toys do not look sealed, so I would be concerned about that. However, they are still fun on dry land, though the magnet side of the toys doesn't always present upwards.

Great toy to get toddler excited about bath time again!

Our toddler entered a phase where he was suddenly afraid to sit in the tub. This was pretty sad for us as he previously LOVED bath time. In an effort to lure him back into the joys of tub time, we looked for some new toys. This fishing pole was a hit!! It was fun for him to play with while he was still standing, and he gradually got more comfortable again and is sitting in no time! I am sure a lot of toys would have gotten the job done, but our son really enjoyed this. The pole and the magnetized fish/octopus/scuba diver are really durable so far and have held up to toddler smashing. Would buy again/gift/recommend.

Best Bath Toy

I have bought several different bath toys for my daughter and somehow one way or another is becomes a disappoint, but this one has not. Given that it is a bath toy molding is unavoidable, but for the price I would not expect it to last a lifetime and it won't be a waste if it can last for 6 months. The magnet is strong and my daughter has the best time playing the game of fishing for the correct color. I would suggest this to any parent looking for a good bath toy.

Great fun for 2 year old!

Gave to my two-year-old grandson as part of his birthday gift, he loved it! Played with it all day long. Well made, durable and the perfect size for little one's hands! Magnets are strong and that makes it easy for the little ones to really "catch fish" since it connects even if they get near the fish with the pole. Can be played with indoors or out a great little toy for the toddlers wading pool.

This toy is GREAT!!! I bought it for you grandson's 2nd Birthday as an afterthought to go with a water table. It is a huge hit. The magnet surface is large so easy for him to "catch" fish and they stay on the line. The reel makes a great sound. Hours of fun

Fun and Clean Bath Toy

This is a great bath toy for those who worry about mold. It's also just a fun activity for the kids. It's not too difficult to connect the fish to the pole, but the younger they are, the harder it is due to the needed coordination. My almost 4 year old has no problem, but my just turned 2 year old, it's a little more difficult. But even when they are not fishing, they like playing with the little characters. Also, the string doesn't wind up, but it's thick and durable. The wheel does turn and sounds like a fishing rod. The only concern I can see would be if you have two kids and one throws. They are kind of heavy and hard, and it would probably hurt to be hit by one.
