Perfect fit and finish. Plus a few tips for 228i first time oil changers.

Worked perfectly on my 228i doing my first DIY oil change. Perfect fit without being too snug. Fit finish and quality are all beyond my expectations. Just an fyi for anyone doing their first oil change on a 228i regarding resetting the service oil notification. I watched all the videos online but couldn't seem to replicate their results and reset the computer. The trick is lightly push the start button 2 times to put the car in the awake position without starting the engine. Hold down the odometer reset button in the lower left corner of the speedo display area. The car then displayed the option to reset the oil setting and you must again hold down the odometer reset button to have the reset done. Very simple once you do it the first time. Also for first time changers, on my model at least, the plastic oil pan replacement plug must be included in the filter kit, which I bought from a dealer to assure the correct one and to insure no warranty problems. That plastic plug requires a #10 allen wrench to loosen. The plug has a flange around it that seems to resist you turning the plug with clicking "stops". Not to worry, you aren't stripping anything when you hear that and loosen the plug. Make sure not to over tighten when inserting the new plug. As for this Motivx wrench, buy it. Great tool at a reasonable price.

Perfect for a 2016 BMW 435i

This was the perfect tool for our 2016 BMW 435i.. I read reviews on other cheaper options which were prone to breaking.. this one is definitely HIGH QUALITY! Would highly recommend!

Better than the tool truck option.

1 week in of daily use, I'm happy with the purchase. The only noticeable difference compared to the more expensive tool truck option, is that i'm no longer stuck with a 21 as the only option. I can use a socket, wrench, or a simple extension. I really like being able to use a simple 3/8 ratchet that i'm going to be using anyways for the drain plug.

Highly Recommend

I recommend using Mtoivx tools! the adapters work well and doesn't snug too tightly in such a way that it takes significant effort to remove. I had a similar tool in the past by a different company and I had difficulty removing my oil filter cap from this wrench. Highly recommend Motivx

Good product

This seems to be just a hair loose, but I had no trouble using it on a BMW M4. Appears to be good quality at a good price.

A MUST HAVE ITEM FOR BIMMERS!

Product works great on my 2011 BMW 535 XDrive! As Bimmers, you probably know we do not have a special discount on oil changes like other models. I refuse to pay $120 for an oil change that I can do myself for $40 (oil, filters, etc.) This one tool is a difference maker, and a must buy. Honestly, from beginning to end, the process takes about 10 minutes, if that. Ten minutes of your time to save $80 is a WIN-WIN in my book!

Good fit, finish and function. Solid performer.

Works like a champ. I used both the built-in 3/8th inch drive and a large socket over the exterior hex, and had no problem with either option. I think the over hex option is probably safer to protect the tool from cracking if you had you were in an over-tightened situation, but the BMW cap doesn't call for much torque. This tool is a winner in my book.

Better than most options available..

This has a very precise fitment and prevents any kind of slippage, which could result in stripping the plastic oil filter cap. I like the fact that you can use a standard 3/8" ratchet instead of needing an odd sized socket or large wrench. Removing this tool from the oil filter cap is not a problem as long as you clean the cap and the tool prior to using it. Otherwise, the dirt and grime might make it difficult to separate them after use.

Perfect fit, use this for BMW N55s

Perfect fit for my 535i with the N55 engine. Apparently there are a couple of these tools, some made at 86.6mm and some are a bit smaller like this one at 86.4. I can say if you have a recent BMW you probably need this one so the tool won't slip and mess up your oil filter cap. Anyway worked perfect for me no slipping or marring at at.

Does exactly as it says

Nice finishing but once used, the inside begins to wear and it is sad to see the nice outer finish all fancy but the inner surface is all scratched up. That's just what happens when it gets used but for satisfaction purposes it can be a tad depressing lol.
