Love this camera it came on time actually one day before supposed to arrive the camera is really great for the price I'd say the best on the market for under $300 plus the bundle you get with all the accessories For only 250 I definitely recommend this camera and bundle

Not top of the line but for family videos, really quality HD.

The chip. Had an old Sony similar to this one & hooking up to the computer was a pain. Chip is easy.

Sony HDR-CX405/B Full HD 60p Camcorder - Rave Review!

This camera was very easy to use right out of the box. The menus are very user-friendly. The quality of the picture and video during playback is clear and sharp. The audio is also great - I videotape events where a lot of music is featured and it sounds great when I play it back on my computer. I haven't played it back on my tv with my speakers but I'm sure that the sound will be enhanced even more. I may provide an update with a picture and more news on the tv playback at a later date.

Great accessory bundle

The addition of an extra battery is great. The tripod isn’t heavy duty but it’s perfect for this camera. Very happy with this purchase.

Great video and sound quality!

This was the best thing I have bought in years! It works great and the sound and video are great even sitting in a darkened theatre recording your grandchildren in their school plays! I am so pleased with the quality! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to capture special moments! Very good value as well!

Trying to download to computer and playback requires downloading an app from Sony

This camera is very light, easy to hold and use. Beach Camera's kit includes everything needed to start making home movies at a great price. Highly recommend.

Exceeds Expectations

Exceeds expectations. Clear Video & Audio. I'm a musician and use it to capture live performances. For the low price, I considered it a gamble and was wondering how the audio would be. It turned out surprisingly good. I like the simplicity of the camcorder. I just mount it on a tripod, turn it on and hit record. I didn't really want a bunch of bells and whistles.

This is a "jammed pack" deal. This is a gift for my fathers 81st birthday. He and my mother still travel the world and this will be their new travel companion.
