Works great. Just what I need for my science classroom. I am going to use it during the eclipse to measure light changes with my students.

An Excellent Light meter For All Needs

I do quite a few pictures for my web work and I have grand kids. I also have a DSLR camera and all the equipment that goes with it. I need to know the light reading to set the filter and shutter speed so I get the right exposure.This meter does that and more.I can get the reading and change it to lux from footcandles or reverse.It comes with a cover over the sensor so you can get an accurate reading where you want it.The meter is made heavy duty and will last a lifetime. It's powered by a 9 volt for a long life on readings. It was everything I needed.
