Did the trick

I installed this in my dell inspiron myself after watching several youtube videos. I don't know that I recommend trying to install this yourself if you are not computer savvy as I had a rough time of it. However my computer is working beautifully now. I was worried it would be a cheap part but it seems all right. I've been using it for three months now with no issues.

Exactly like original part, worked as expected

It was pretty much exactly like the original part that it was replacing. Fairly easy to replace and it worked like expected. This was for another person’s laptop, so as far as I know, it is still functioning.

Be careful in replacing power jack

This was exactly what I needed to replace the loose power jack in my Dell Inspirin 15 3551. Dell did not make it easy to replace this jack. Check youtube for instructional videos on how to remove the many assemblies necessary to install this.

Works great but not an upgrade. Will probably break again.

Fixed my charging problems

Replacement power port was just what I needed to fix my charging issues on my Inspiron 15-5100. Install was easy once I got the cover off, have to take off the keyboard to access some hidden screws.

Not a bad install if you are comfortable inside a laptop

This install went smooth and the part was a good fit. If you don't normally take laptops apart, seek the help of someone who does as you can go very wrong if you don't know what you're doing... youtube is only your friend in this if you already have the skill set. I would buy the product again.
