  • 1989 Batmobile replica from the micheal keaton Batman movies

Everything I've ever wanted out of a batman toy! Just came back from a trip to Warner Brothers Studio in Hollywood where I fell back in love with this batmobile. It immediately reminded me of this old plastic toy I had when I was a child. The exact one I had was too expensive. Im glad I got this one though, it is a solid product, and the doors open! Like the other reviews say, the batman doesnt fit in the Bat Mobile, but it is a cool side feature.

I love this model, especially because its the best Batmobile ever created but besides that, this particular model out of the others seems to have the most detail. It does not feel cheap, and the metal makes it feel like a quality collectors item. I bought two, one for my computer case and the other for collectors.

My favourite Batmobile! This is a fantastic reproduction of the Michael Keaton Batmobile. Solid construction and nice detail. Can't complain for the price. If you like this particular Batmobile, this belongs in your collection. The wheels turn but they don't steer. Canopy opens and closes but you have to be careful how you place the car if you want it closed as it can slip (there's no "catch"). I didn't realise that the machine guns could be hidden by flipping them over when I placed my order. So, that's a bonus. But, they don't "click" into place. Looks great with the diecast Batman beside it. I just received it today and I'm very happy with it.

I love Jada Metals' Batmobiles - both the 1:24 and 1:32. Their detail is great, the quality is great, and the price is amazing - especially when compared to the Hotwheels versions of the same product. The 1989 Batmobile is outstanding, and comes with a lot of features such as a cockpit that opens, the machine guns on the front, an opening rear panel and....a mini Batman! If you are a Batman fan, then these should be your go-to Batmobiles.

Absolutely love it. I'm a huge Batman nerd, and have a lot of figures, batarangs, etc. Wasn't ever able to find the type of bat mobiles I wanted for my collection, until now. Everything is perfect. Exactly as described. Perfect size. The figure it comes with is really cool also. Will be getting all of the other ones made by this company. No complaints.

This replica of the Batmobile from the 1989 Batman film is an excellent item for any Batman collector! Made from die-cast metal, and measuring around 8.5" in length, I have zero complaints about this item. It is very durable, moves smoothly, and has a good weight to it. The Batman figure that comes with it is also made out of die-cast metal, except for the cape and cowl, which are plastic. Stands around 2.5" tall. He does not bend to fit in the vehicle, but this Batmobile and figure are really meant for display purposes anyway. Looks great standing outside of the vehicle! The vehicle itself has a canopy that opens to reveal the interior. Not incredibly detailed due to the size, but still nice. The machine guns on the top can be concealed or revealed by merely flipping them open or closed, and the trunk above the fire exhaust opens as well, which is great. For what you're getting, this Batmobile has quite a few nice features to it! If you're a Batman collector, I don't think there's any way you can't love this item. Very nice!

I bought this for my toddler, almost 3. Hes not very hard on his toys, but this really wasnt meant to be played with. The car is very heavy and made of metal. The batman is also made of a stronger material that can be dangerous for little ones. My son and us parents have all gotten a little hurt by this thing being in our paths or accidentally falling on us. My son also managed to break the cockpit window and the back exhaust tube. Meant for delicate use and for collectors rather than a toy.

I bought this collectible as a Christmas gift for my father, who is probably the world's biggest Batman fan. It completely lived up to my expectations as well as his. The detail on this bat mobile is incredible. Made out of die cast metal, it has a good weight to it and makes it a much more desirable quality than a cheap plastic toy. My father was very excited to receive it!

I was 10 years old when this movie hit theaters, and you betcha I got my parents to take me. One of the most awesome parts in the whole movie is right outside the museum: "Get in the car." "Which one?" The we see it. The Batmobile. This 1/24 scale replica is the perfect size for me to display. It's gorgeously detailed, with what looks like everything included. Even the interior seems to be fully recreated. They even included the pedals on the floor. The matte paint job looks great, just as it should for the original appearance of the film. (I don't know why they made it shiny for Batman Returns) The opening cockpit canopy, flip around machine guns and opening "hood" in back are all sweet too, and add to the coolness of this collectible. Lastly, the die cast Batman figure is wickedly cool. He's as intricately detailed as the car is. They even painstakingly painted his emblem correct to the movie. All told, this was a great value and it's an awesome display piece.

Got this as a gift for my father as to me he is the original Batman. He has all the memorabilia from the 1989 movie and this was a great edition. For a small item it came with great detail and even looks like Michael Keaton's portrayal of this iconic character. If anyone is a fan of the 1989 movie and has a few dollars to spend on a highly detailed collectors item. Pull the Batgun trigger and buy this item.
