Great upgrade from a C920 with a minor flaw
I upgraded to the Brio from my aging C920. While my C920 has never failed to impress me I just needed the 4K capabilities that the Brio provided. The Brio is a night and day upgrade from the C920, going from 1080p to 4k is an eye catching experience for content creators. With the wide angle options you can simply catch much more of your scene. The built in microphone has also been upgraded, its far more sensitive then the C920, you will find yourself needed to reduce the gain while recording. While the Brio is a great upgrade the are one thing about the Brio that I need to mentioned. The new base while functional and flexible isn't capable of mounting on a tripod, these leaves me fabricating new ways to mount it. While it is a little inconvenient its not a deal breaker for me. Beautiful Webcam, great for the less tech savvy
I bought this webcam to increase the quality of my skype calls and YouTube videos and it succeeded very well at doing those things for me. The quality is stunning and it's so easy to use: just plug it into a usb port, mount it on your screen and you're done. I've loved using the brio so far and it is a huge step up from the Logitech C615 I've been using. It does well at balancing light and taking the video you need. There are some things you should know before buying this product though, that may make or break your purchase. This webcam relies on variable frame rates, meaning in something like Sony Vegas, audio will end up not being properly synchronized with the video, producing a less than professional video. You can fix this issue with a program called handbrake, which will give you constant frame rates. The other thing you should note, is that you need a USB 3.0 port to get decent quality out of this. A USB 2.0 port will get you 720p60 at best and won't even hit 4k. A USB 3.0 port will get you to that 1080p60 and 4k 24 fps just fine. And on that note, this webcam will NOT give you 4k at 30 fps, the best you can expect is 4k at 24 fps. Maybe with a USB 3.1 port you will be able to hit higher frame rates at 4k, but not with this. Overall, a great product, but it is NOT a replacement for a good camera if you're doing professional work and it will not give you a good 4k experience for video shoots. 1080p60 users on the other hand, will absolutely love this webcam.

Bought for "Hello" face recognition, but also impressed by video quality
I'm using Windows 10 updated through January 2018, and this webcam worked flawlessly. Purchased mostly for its "Hello" face recognition capabilities, but now I'm sold as to using it for my primary webcam because of its beautiful image and advanced capabilities. Highly recommend.

Good camera -- improved software makes it much better
I use this for recording videocasts that are distributed throughout the world, and for web based meeting software, so it gets a lot of use. When I originally reviewed this, the software was flaky. Logitech has updated their drivers, however, and this is a much better device now. Overall recommended at this point.

Great image quality
Great image quality. The software does not support two cameras. You have to unplug one camera in order to change the settings of the other. Once all setup you are good to go with multiple.

Best there is!
Fantastic quality. It works great to sign into Windows 10. Looks awesome on the Manfrotto Mini Tripod. Works flawlessly attached to a floor lamp with various GoPro mounts to make a ghetto light rig when needed. I like the little privacy door that attaches to the top. It can just swing down to cover the lens so nobody hacks your computer and watches you sleep.

Not cheap, but it is the sharpest webcam on the market.
I bought two of these for my YouTube / Twitch streaming program. I had previously been using the Logitech C920 and a Genesis 120-degree wide angle. While no other webcam has the wide angle of the Genesis, in my opinion, the BRIO is the sharpest, crispest webcam on the market today (March 4, 2018)! 'Highly recommend!

I am very happy I did
I researched webcams for a few weeks before finally settling on the Brio. I use this camera with Wirecast for our broadcasts at JerryWills Show.com The specs really influenced my purchase, but specs don't tell you all you need to know. I decided the only way to know was to buy the Brio. I am very happy I did. It instantly started working without any issues. This is a great camera with exceptional quality. It's perfect for our internet TV broadcasts. In fact, I liked it so much I bought two more! If you're in the market for a well-made camera the Brio is it! I could not have done better when you consider the price and specs. In fact, I considered the price a great bargain for what this device delivers!

Love the camera; setup, not so much
Had to wait a few days to write review because it took me a few days to set it up. Computer is a Intel NUC running an i7 Intel processor, with 32 GB of RAM and a 1-TB NV Samsung SSD drive. The camera was connected directly to the computer and not through a hub (this is important) in order for it to work. This camera replaced a MS HD Lifecam (no software to uninstall) and that apparently was the rub. I plugged the camera in and all the drivers installed... restarted just to make sure. Camera worked for Skype, Zoom, etc. but when I tried to set up Windows Hello, message popped up saying unable to start camera... well, crap. So scoured the Net and thought I had it fixed and I did, at least to the point now where at least the camera frame in Hello started, but still no video stream. After spending half a day trying to get it working (again, Google), I said to heck with it and put in a ticket with Logitech. After a day, I got a response telling me to uninstall all drivers associated with the camera and restart, and then allow computer to start completely, and then plug the camera in again. So now, I thought, what if there are some drivers from the old camera still around... hmmm. So I uninstalled the brio drivers, and then downloaded a third-party driver "sweeper" program and ran that.... yes, there were sill drivers for the Lifecam and I had that program remove them. Restarted computer, plugged in the Brio, drivers installed, checked Windows Hello and Success!!! Windows Hello completely set up, can now log in with facial recognition, camera works in Zoom, Skype, Skype for Business, etc. Now, why the five stars... even with all of the hassle with the setup, the quality of the video and sound with this camera is absolutely amazing. Definitely 4k in quality and since I do a lot of work by videoconferencing (consulting, etc.) this absolutely fits my needs. Just remember, uninstall all camera drivers before installing.... that seemed to be the trick. cheers

My Favorite Webcam So Far
I've been purchasing Logitech webcams as far back as I can remember. When I was growing up and Skype was first introduced, I purchased one of the early models of Logitech cams for talking with family. Over the years, I've owned a handful of the best Logitech cams for work, personal, and gaming purposes. At this stage of my life I work at home, and spend a ton of time in video calls with coworkers over Zoom, Hangouts, Skype, etc. I also do a lot of Twitch streaming, as well as screencasting for work and personal purposes. This is BY FAR the best Logitech cam I've ever used. The quality of the video is AMAZING. The 4k is legitimately fanstastic. If you're using OBS for screencasting/streaming, it looks crystal clear. Even in low light settings image quality looks amazing and crisp. I'm very impressed. Compared to my last 1080p cam, this looks absolutely ridiculously good. Pretty excited to see a whole new generation of 4k cams coming out. Anyhow: if you're looking for an excellent cam for streaming, video chats, or screencasting, I can't recommend this enough. Great job Logitech! <3
