it worked amazing. i didn't even need the defogging strips

just took it diving to 18M or 60feet. it worked amazing. i didn't even need the defogging strips. everything fits the hero 5 perfect! overall worth the purchase :) and still has good photo quality!

The best thing you can get for your GoPro Hero 5

Out of all the bundle sets for the GoPro here on Amazon, this one is probably the best thing you can get if you have a GoPro 5. If you already have the stick attachment, this is the only thing you really need. Everything came as pictured and works great. And for around $25, this is very affordable compared to other competitors.

Best Gopro Waterproof bundle and bargain

This set was a bargain. No other waterproof case set comes as with many gadgets as this set does. They really have the safety of your gopro in mind. The waterproof case functions flawlessly. However, do not record with it on unless you are really in the water. It muffles the sound a little bit, as I am sure all cases like this does. I was using it as an every day case, and recording in situations not involving the water. You cannot have the silicon case on and it still fit in the waterproof case, don't waste your time. The silicone case is just a protective covering for everyday use. The carrying case was also a plus. This set functioned flawlessly, and I am happy. Would buy again.

Good little kit. Bought for the dive case which worked flawlessly. Reviews indicate GoPro 5 are not as waterproof as they advert

Bought this mainly for the screen protectors and the dive case and lens cover, which purchased separately would have been more money... so free case and extra soft case. Never had water get into the dive case, the hinges did start to rust a bit from saltwater but I don't think it will cause issue for a long time! Worth the price. I didn't end up using the screen or lens protector. Case is standard and nice. The soft lens cover fits a bit loose but actually worked perfection in conjunction with another soft case I got that fits over the factory skeleton case. It slips right under and stays put so I could put the camera in my backpack without worrying about the camera being in any sort of case, just wrapped completely in silicone.

Great deal for all this stuff. The clear underwater case seems very strong. I know the 5 is already waterproof, but if you're doing something crazy out there, might as well protect your $400 camera. Great deal for all of these. The small carrying case is awesome too!

Excellent Kit

I just recently took the housing case to the beach and it worked perfectly. The travel case is beautiful and comfortable for travel and in terms of the screen protector I can honestly say I'm quite happy about them as they are easy to apply and of excellent quality. I have yet to use the silicone protective case but the lens cover is quite useful to me.

Solid value

Upgraded from Hero 4 to Hero 7 -- the housings in this kit are a great addition to the frame included with the camera. Silicone case is a great item for when you are keeping the camera in your pocket for quick use and aren't planning on using attachments -- many times I wished for a case like this with my Hero 4. Lens cover is a vital piece of equipment -- I cannot understand why this 1 cent item does not come standard with the GoPro. Hard shell case is technically not necessary with the water resistant Hero 7 but looks well made (I haven't immersed it in water yet) but will be nice for extra impact and "mess" protection when skiing or mountain biking. The case is fine, a little taller vertically than other "small" GoPro cases commonly available here and with an open, rather than zippered, pocket inside the top lid. Foam cutouts are the same as other cases. Good buy!

Good Value Kit

Great little kit, especially for the price. My Hero 5 Black is supposedly already waterproof, but I prefer an extra layer of protection. I tested this one out and no leaks. The case is a nice size when you just want to carry the bare necessities. I have not tested the screen protectors yet but will update when I do.

Great product!

Great product! The case is sturdy and easily accessible. I like the additional protection for the GoPro Hero 5 Black even though it is already waterproof. I feel more comfortable taking this out to do anything with the clear case! I have not had any problems with the lens protector that others have had concerns with either, it stays on.
