Worth it.

I used this product for my 2017 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touchbar (refurb, if it matters). I like that the finish is matte: other users are right that the matte looks (better and) more resistant to fingerprints than a protector with a shiny finish. I recommend putting this screen protector on immediately, to protect your screen not only from dust and scratches but from anything that may transfer from your keyboard to your screen when closed (food, grease, sweat, dust, etc). This screen protector fits absolutely perfectly, the close fit between protector size and screen size leaves little room for error. That said, this is the first screen protector for any device ever the I have installed solely on my own (I'm always afraid I'll mess it up so I used to have other people do it for me), but I got it in one slow careful try and it honestly was (1) not difficult, (2) not scary, (3) not time- or even labor-intensive. In general, follow the instructions that come with the product (although they are explicitly for phones, the principle is the same). I think the key is to start application from the top, not from the sides. Make sure the little hole for the webcam is just right, and then as you remove the non-stick film from the side against the computer screen, smooth out any air bubbles very meticulously as you move down the screen. I ended up just using the card that came with the protectors, and while it was indeed just some cheap cardboard, it was gentle with my screen and it worked perfectly fine for me to get a perfect application. My last ultrabook was the HP Spectre which had a touchscreen, so while I get used to not having the feature available to me, I keep trying to select things by touching my MacBook's screen. All this to say that before applying the screen protector, I washed off fingerprints VERY gently and repetitively with a damp eyeglass wiping cloth (they're lint free, don't scratch, and are v effective, and drying the damp spots immediately with the microfiber cloth included. Do not use alcohol to clean the screen, as I'm pretty sure that can ruin a screen over time? Not 100% on that, but I think I read it in a blog post from Apple. I don't particularly feel like looking it up right now, after composing this novella.

Easy Install, Wonderful Fit and great glair protection

This product I received was a nice quality 3 pack of screen protectors for my new [2017 MacBook Pro [13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports W/Retina display Model A1708 ] fit perfectly. Just like putting a screen protector on a cell phone. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN YOUR SCREEN BEFORE INSTALL!!! Mine was a fingerprint nightmare! It will greatly increase your chances of a perfect install if you clean your screen prior to placement. Here is how I did mine::: The line up is a little tough please take your time. I started by peeling back just a small part of the lining, matching up the edges and then used my own debit/credit card to very gently rub the screen protector over the screen and peel the backing at the same time. When I came across small air bubbles I slowly lifted it up and smoothed the area down with my card again and continued to peel and smooth until you reach the other edge. looks great helps with glair and doesn't affect the screen image quality at all. I'm happy i got the 3-pack but i'm not sure if I will need to change it anytime soon, its very securely placed. I have had a very great experience with Supershieldz products, i will continue to buy from them.

Nice MATTE screen protector

I have to be firm and repeat it, this is a MATTE screen protector! To me, that is great, matte screen protector removes the sun reflection when using outside. But to many it might be disliked because the screen loses a little bit of the quality. Specially with macbooks that have the best quality monitor of them all... This makes the screen a little "blurry". This does not, and I repeat, really does not, bother me. But I guess many ppl might consider buying a regular screen protector, and not a Matte one. If you are not sure if this is going to bother you, I'd actually recommend buying and trying. For the price, it comes with 3 protectors inside. You should install and see, I actually liked and might keep it. If it bothers me I can remove and reinstall 2 times with the extra ones. If you hate it, give it away! Many macbook users you know might like it, and for the price, it won't be a bad buy.

Just received them today. It was very easy to apply, I did get a few air bubbles but I worked most of them out. The other ones i can live with. I still have two more as back up. It had a really nice matte-ish finish to it that I really like.

Fantastic Macbook Pro 2018 Screen Protector. NO BUBBLES!

I would definitely recommend this screen protector for your computer, and I had such a good experience with it, I would buy this brand of screen protector again. Quality: Very good. When you put it on, it definitely has a noticeable matte finish, but it's still easy to see through. The matte finish helps with glare on the screen. The screen protector is thin and fits the computer well. Installation: Fantastic!!! This was the best screen protector installation process I've ever had. The manufacturers were smart in the way they set up installation, and I ended up WITH BASICALLY NO BUBBLES! In my prior experience, there's always at least a few bubbles especially at the corners, but in this case I only have 2 very tiny flaws where a piece of dust got caught under the screen. Otherwise, no other air bubbles. And the installation process was pretty easy, and I got it on correctly the first try! For installation, there are 3 layers 1) flimsy peel away plastic to expose the sticky side 2) the actual screen protector 3) a rigid plastic to use for positioning during installation but is removed after installation to expose the matte finish You start by peeling away just the corner or top portion of the flimsy plastic layer in order to start sticking the screen protector to the computer. Then using the included squeegee, you slowly squeeze out the air bubbles and work your way down the screen, slowly peeling away more of the flimsy layer, until the screen protector is completed installed. During this process, the rigid plastic makes it easy to hold onto the protector and position it on the screen. After the protector is installed, the rigid plastic is removed. It was easy and effective in removing bubbles. Pro tip--to avoid fingerprints during installation and to keep the sticky side from sticking to your hands, wear thin plastic gloves. It helps a lot.

Worth the Money

*Note in one of the photos I attached, you can see my background lights and what it looks like with a light shining from above. There are around three to four 60W lights shining down onto the screen. First and foremost, this product fit my MacBook Pro 13 inch laptop perfectly. I purchased the 2018 version with a front facing camera, and it works just fine. Anyways, I really enjoy this product because of one simple reason, you get three screen protectors for ten dollars (which is a steal). Other than the cheap price, here are a few other characteristics that I enjoy about these screen protectors. Application: The screen protector was really easy to apply. I assume you can watch a video online that instructs you on how to do it, but I simply started in one corner, and slowly used the hard “card” to prevent air bubbles. I believe I have one or two that are located in the top right corner, but they aren’t large enough to bother me. Protection: I’ve only had this for a few days, but it seems like it does a good job of preventing scratches and scuffs. I usually do a good job of never dropping my electronics, but I always seem to scratch the screen. And so far it has held up against my abuse. Overall, this screen protector seems like it should hold up to my crazy expectations and use throughout the next few years. Fantastic screen protector - this is the one to buy

This is wonderful, and well worth the modest investment, like everything else I've purchased from this company. I like to make my Macs last, and I know from experience how computers can get worn down. I was really impressed with all the protectors I purchased from this brand. They all install easily with very clear instructions, come with everything you need, and include a few extras just in case. I'm especially thankful for the screen protector. I have experienced cheap screen covers - they shine, the adhesive can cause problems, the camera holes can be impossible to line up, and installed incorrectly, they can actually damage the screen by trapping stuff underneath. The Supershieldz screen protector could not be more different from these. The instructions are detailed, and cleaning and installation went very smoothly. The anti-glare finish is FABULOUS. The screen has a great look and feel to it - it actually feels like an improvement, not just a layer of protection. And I have extras, too, in case I had made a mistake during installation and/or this thing gets dirty. I think this is money well spent for MacBook owners.

Pretty simple and sleek

I just received the item so this review won’t be completely thorough but at glance this is an ideal screen protector. Nicely packaged and the items that were included are shown in the pictures. 3 screen protectors, a cloth and a card to remove dust and air bubbles. Set up is pretty simple the only tricky part is aligning the protector without too many air bubbles. Keep in mind you will have some but that’s what the card is for to help remove them before peeling the last layer of the screen protector. You can barely notice the protectors is even on the screen. I recommend this product because on the first try I had minimum air bubbles and the card helped remove majority of them. You will have some no matter how well you clean before and align but you won’t be able to see them when the actual screen is on. If you just want a nice protector to keep your expense laptop as protected as possible then this will do. I’ll update as time passes. Update Love this screen protector. Worked on my other MBA and just placed on my new one.

A must buy!

I originally purchased this two years ago when I got a MacBook Pro. I was originally a little disappointed that my dad had picked out a matte screen protector but quickly realized how great matte screen protectors are. There’s no glare or fingerprints. There’s no risk of ruining the screen when you accidentally draw on it with a pencil to interpret a bad graph from calc class or when counting onion root tip cells by circling them. You can clean the screen just by using a bit of water or alcohol on a tissue. In the present, I purchased an Apple Pencil. Without a matte screen protector, it is incredibly difficult to write well on an iPad with an Apple Pencil. Instead of ordering a brand new screen protector for the iPad, I cut a piece of this screen protector to use in place of it. It works really well. I can’t recommend this product enough! It’s definitely worth it.

Great Product!

Love my new MacBook Pro, but hate fingerprints and scratches on my screen that will eventually occur with use. Decided on the anti-glare one because I love the matte look on my space gray laptop. Super easy to install, so I am not sure why many people said it was difficult. (its easier if you place the screen on the counter and let the keyboard hang at a 90 degree angle.) The screen quality does not drop with the anti-glare one. Videos still look awesome and I think it gives it a unique look that feels smoother. Great quality screen protector and happy that it came with two extra ones in case it needs replacement!
