Great for entertainment and fine motor skills
My 5 year old daughter LOVES this and the size is perfect. It allows her to finish a picture in 1-2 sittings. The case keeps all her pegs together and we bought refill pages. It’s been a real hit! I loved my huge Lite Brite as a kid and glad to see one of my kiddos loves it too! This would be a great therapy toy for fine motor skills. It takes a good amount of coordination, grip and strength to get the pegs in!

Awesome update of classic toy
I loved the original Lite-Brite in 1980, and my 4yo daughter loves this cool update in 2018. Many thoughtful improvements in this smart reboot: LEDs that don’t burn little fingers, peg holes that close back up so you don’t absolutely need a pattern, attached storage box for pegs, cool iPad-inspired design. My daughter also likes the options for it to blink the lights. Winner!

Great Lite Brite Toy- No Cord, battery powered, great for travel!
My 5 year old loves this toy. It reminds me of when I was a kid. I was skeptical but its actually pretty compact, comes with plenty of pegs, and is battery powered. It would make a great travel toy. It comes with a few "stencil" pages to help kids make cute designs, my daughter loves the unicorn. It also has a kick stand on the back to stand it upright. Great purchase, worth the money.

Love it!! So easy a 4 year old can do it!!
The mixed reviews scared me, but I couldn't be happier with it. My 4 year old can push the pegs in with no help at all. The lite-Brite came with 4 paper designs. I even bought a 12 pack of extra designs and the fit just fine. The holes line right up with the designs. It is battery operated, which is nice for travel. The pegs come with a storage case which connects to either side of the lite-brite for righty or lefty. The light can stay on, blink, or light up randomly like Christmas lights. I'm glad I bought it, such an improvement on the old one i had as a kid :)

Good fun for kids!
As a child of the 80s, I have been enjoying all of the “retro” games and toys making a comeback. The Lite-brite is no exception! I gave this to my daughter for her 6th birthday and she LOVES it! Thankfully this new version is battery operated and does NOT generate heat like the old school model did! My daughter often uses this as her nightlight.

When generations collide! A toy for me and my child
I can't tell you how much I loved my Lite-Brite when I was a child, so when I saw they were making them again I couldn't not buy it. I would have bought it for me even if my daughter didn't want it...luckily she did. What a blast from the past. It works just like it did for me as a kid, just seems way smaller, but I can't tell if that is because it truly is smaller than it used to be or if it is just because I grew up. :) Only downside is there aren't enough lites to do bigger art items and it only came with a few sheet templates. Hoping I can find more lites and additional templates online.

Hours of fun
Quite different than the Lite Bright I had as a kid however this one is far more challenging and fun. The black main board's peg holes are pre cut with flexible flaps in a cross hair type pattern so they stay closed if not in use. You do not put the black design paper on the board and poke the pegs through (as I recall doing as a kid, 70s). This board you simply look at the design on the paper and mimic that design onto the board. There are different tones of light plus a blinking tone so it gives your final design a fun, flashy look! My granddaughter is 10 and loves this. It holds her attention!

This was a fun, nostalgic toy that we gave as a gift
This was a fun, nostalgic toy that we gave as a gift. Our 8yr. old is having a blast with it. Lightweight and the storage compartment for the pegs is great. Only complaint was the box arrived very beat up, like it had been a return or used.

So nostalgic!!! Works well, even better when kids know their colors colors!
This is different than the one I has when u was a child (in the late 1960’s. It’s lighter weight, but still pretty decent. Be sure to purchase the extra sheets they sell otherwise, kids will run out of drawings to make very quickly. They have boats, flowers, butterflies, etc. (sold separately). Keep the little plastic lights in Tupperware or plastic butter container, cottage cheese container, whatever works. A very nostalgic toy for baby boomers to play with their grandkids!

4 year old loves it
My 4 year old loves it. She's so proud of her first creation. I love that it has a holder for the plastic pieces. It only came with 2 patterns. Wish it had more, but we can print some.
