I'm one of those people who hate BT audio because the quality stinks for the high frequency stuff, like cymbals. Sounds like a 112kbps mp3. So I have my MM30G Senheiser's and been using them for years. But I always knew that BT, especially today could do better. Why? Because the BT spec doesn't mandate you use SBC for a codec. I've just tested with a Google Nexus 5x with the O preview. No, these do not appear to support aac or any apt x codecs, but it doesn't matter. You can set the phone to send the audio over SBC with a very high bit rate. Thus, the sound is very, very close to transparent. Aptx is close but I have a feeling if Anker releases one with aac the problem will be basically solved. (Wish we could just use mp3 or vorbis personally). However, playing it on a typical LG phone, the Stylo 2, the sound as expected, sucks. Well, just the cymbals, as they sound artificial and clearly aren't the same. But that's not Anker's fault really! After listening with the Nexus 5X, I'm really looking forward to android 0, having bit rate control, and finally ditching wired headphones. CONS: well, the cord typically is caught on my right ear due to the remote so I feel it if I turn my head to the right. That's about the only annoyance.

So far so good. A take moderate runs, 3 or 4 days a week. These headphones have been able to stay in place, and take the heat (and sweat) so to speak. It took a few steps to figure out how to get the headphones to stay in my ears and not come out -while running- - but once the headset's "balance" there are no problems even on long runs. The trick seems to be to get the cord to "stick" to your neck. Being outside for about 3 minutes does the trick for now. In addition, because they attach "inside your ears" and don't use clips to stay in place, they are a lot easier on the ears overall on long runs. Sound quality -- best I have heard in this price range of blue-tooth headphones. This can also be personal preference - probably a little less bass than most, but the sound is clearer and never distorted. Signal -- Wide open spaces are frustrating for all blue tooth headphone users in the wild. I run these off my apple watch and find them to keep the signal very consistently. Crowded intersections with cars (all with blue tooth) can cause some consternation. But much less with these relative to the other blue tooth headphones in this price range (I have tried and killed these at an alarming pace). Charge -- holding it and the ability to recharge -- so far so good. This is where a lot of these headsets fall over. I have been able to maintain usage over 5 hours, outdoors, with no issues. The real question to be answered -- how long will these last?

This is my first set of wireless earphone. I am no expert in distinguishing good sound quality from bad, but I couldn't find any major flaws in the my listening experience, so it's a pretty good earphone for me. It came with different sizes of the hooks and little buds, I tried all of them, but it turned out the original ones fit my ears. It also came with a small nice bag for traveling purposes. On the other hand, the control buttons on the right side annoys me a lot. It's unbalanced, and you can felt more weight on the right ear than left. This small thing drags more wire out on your right ear, if you use it on a treadmill. But I think there is no better solution for this. The other popular way is to put the control buttons on the earphone, this makes the earphone ridiculously large. So this is something I can tolerate. The other drawback is the wind sound or scratching sound. For some earphone you can hear clearly the wind sound, or the scratching sound when the phone wire is touching your clothes, and this earphone is one of them. 3 month later: The rubber seal for the USB port is no longer working, it won't seal in position. I guess it's not water proof anymore and should be careful of the sweat when exercising. 9 month later: It finally stopped working today. The battery seems still can be charged, but it won't turn on any more. I use it 30min to 1h per day, didn't expect it to last this short. ------------------ A few weeks after it stopped working, the customer service contacted me and sent me a new pair for free. Now I am on my second trial of these earbuds, excellent customer service.

I am not easily impressed by headphones. I have used everything from Beats to Bose, Shure, to custom molded headphones. Some of my headphones easily cost 20 times if not more than what I paid for these sound buds. I wasn't really expecting much from these. Truth be told, I only bought them because I wanted headphones I can make phone calls with. They have a mic, check, buy. PROS: I gave them a listen and wow. These sound good, very good, too good for their price. Bass is present, but not overpowering and the highs and mids are clean with minimal distortion. They're also easy to pair (I've been switching these from my iPhone to Macbook pro with ease). Calls are clear and no one I've talked to has reported any issues with hearing me. The magnets are a nice touch allowing me to keep them around my neck without worrying about them falling off. CONS: Cons are pretty minor: The eartips that come with them are thin and flimsy. They seal, but I wished they sealed better. They do distort some at max volume, but again, for what you pay for these, you'll be asking yourself why you didn't buy these earlier

UPDATED REVIEW: As you read below, I had an issue with my original order, but they made it right. They went above and beyond the call to customer service. Usually great customer service post order can make a 1 star review a 4 star.. but I have to give them a 5 star review for the superior follow-up, and sending out a new set headphones when my original ones were not working as expected. (Old review) Initially I thought these were great quality Bluetooth headphones at a very reasonable price. I've used them for less than a month and I'm already having issues. Pros: -priced better than "name brand" -Sound quality at the same level of name brand -Ergonomically designed to fit in your ear, clever "wing" much like jaybird brand, attaches inside your ear; doesn't have as much bulkiness -all black and discrete is nice -nicely designed carry-pouch -they have a cool "start up" sound Cons -the rubber ear cushion fits, however, when sweat builds up it creates a popping sound in your ear drum -does not come with "foam cushions" only rubber, so no air can get into your ear, only sweat -*battery life* I've followed the direction on charging.. however seems to go from full to dead with no warning -randomly disconnects from your phone/blue tooth. Have to continually shutoff and repair -sound cuts out; this exponentionally has gotten worse over the month I've had them At this point I don't think I'll purchase them again. I had jay bird x2's that lasted me almost 3 years before the batteries stopped holding a charge. These had about of month of use before similar problems. I understand you get what you pay for.... but I'm a little disappointed. I spent $130 on jay birds that lasted 36 months = $3.61 per month. These come to $20 a month (lasted a month)

I love these earbuds! I love Anker! I'm using them right now as I write this. They are comfortable, they *feel* like a quality item and they have great sound. Sometimes they might sound a little tinny, but most earbuds do sometimes. I am a new Anker convert, this being my first purchase. I cannot recommend Anker highly enough. You can tell from the moment your purchase arrives that they care about customer satisfaction and quality. I've used these a few times since they arrived. After the initial charge I haven't had to recharge them, using them 3 times for about 2 hours at a stretch. I especially like the on and off sounds. It just sounds nice. They are comfortable. The buds are magnetic, so they become a sort of necklace if you pull them out of your ears and hang them around your neck. Gimmicky? Perhaps, but I suppose it's a nice touch. I researched several different sets of bluetooth earbuds before I settled on these. What sold me was the sheer number of reviews across the web that read essentially just like mine "...love Anker!" "...Anker cares about customers!" "...Anker = high quality!" Do yourself a favor, give Anker a try. If you're not happy, they'll make it right.

I am extremely pleased with my Anker BT SoundBuds! They are very comfortable in the ear and do not cause discomfort even after a whole day of use. The charging cable is included and I use my Anker USB charger on these. The SoundBuds come with an extra set of small, medium and large ear pieces. These are IPX4 rated which means they are protected from a splash in any direction for 5 minutes. Anker SoundBuds come with an easy to read manual of operation. Pairing is super easy and it remembers to what it was paired. The sound quality is excellent. I am very hard of hearing and I can hear with these perfectly. As with all Anker products, the friendly company believes in what they sell and backs that up with an 18 month warranty! The battery on these is excellent! I use them for several hours and the battery is still full! What's not to like? I highly recommend!

I will start out by saying I am not a huge fan of earbuds, or most headphones in general. They just get uncomfortable and I cant wear them for extended periods of time. Even though, I wanted a pair of wireless headphones that I could wear while biking or just doing stuff around the house. I am a huge fan of Anker products, and these don't disappoint. While they do get uncomfortable after a while (but I think that's just a personal thing with all headphones), they are probably the most comfortable ear buds I have used. I have read some reviews about how they have updated these to provide better sounds quality, and I can tell. They sound great and the bass is amazing for such little earbuds. The pairing was simple, the build quality is top notch, and comes with a bunch of ear tips, so I am sure you will find one that works for you. I definitely recommend these to anyone looking for wireless earbuds!

I love the sound quality of my Audio Technica ATH-ANC9 QuietPoint Noise-Cancelling Headphones but I wanted some wireless earbuds for exercising and walking the dog. After a LOT of research, I chose these to pair with my iPhone X and I couldn't be happier. I use them mostly to listen to podcasts on Downcast and music on Spotify. I highly recommend these buds. PROS: - Excellent sound quality, with rich bass and clear highs. They sound WAY better than Apple Earpods or the junk from Beats. - Long battery life, especially considering the small size. I'm getting 6-7 hours of playback per charge. - Wire control buttons feel solid, are easy to find by touch and the response is quick every time. - Strong magnets keep them clasped together when not in my ears. - Outstanding build quality; they feel sturdy and look great. - Small size means I don't look like Frankenstein's monster when I'm wearing them. - They are extremely easy to pair with new devices. CONS: - When I'm walking with my phone in my pocket, occasionally I'll experience a momentary (less than 1 second) connection drop. It happens so infrequently that it's not a big deal to me at all.

I have a pair of Jaybird x3s for running, a set of Bose QC35s, and now the anker SoundBud Slims. I got these because I wanted small “wear-all-day” headphones that snapped around my neck with magnets like a necklace. Basically, I wanted Beats X, but with two other pricey sets I couldn’t justify spending that much on a third set. I paid less than $25 here on Amazon for the SoundBuds. These buds delivered on all counts. I was absolutely not expecting them to sound as good as they do. With the included sizing tips, I was able to get a great easy fit, something I found more difficult with the X3s. Compared sound back to back with my QC35s in a quiet room and while the sound was more spacious and slightly more present in the Bose set, the bass and overall fidelity was comparable. To be clear, I should not be able to say that a pair of $25 ear buds are even in a limited capacity comparable to the the gold standard Bluetooth headset from Bose. They lack the noise cancellation, a fancy app, the build quality and some of the sound quality of the QC35s, but I’ll be darned if they lack $325 worth! I have not done a back-to-back comparison with the Jaybird X3, which I believe will seal and isolate better with the “comply foam” ear tips I use on them, but these Anker buds actually weigh slightly less and have magnets to keep them around your neck all day. I doubt very seriously if anyone will regret this purchase. Do yourself a favor and pick them up.
