Works great, and it's portable.

We love this noise machine. I even bought one for myself now! We use the ocean sound, it's soothing and also blocks out other noises happening around the house so baby can sleep. You can use it plugged in, or with batteries. Small enough to take with you!

Good quality sound machine for babies, batteries+plug in is a big plus!

Great product. Pros: Good variety of noises. Had the heartbeat sound both our children loved when they were newborns. It uses batteries or plug in. I've had sound machines for one or the other but both has been very helpful for home/travel with the kids. Loud enough that we normally don't put it to full volume. Cons: There is a noticeable sound loop. I only notice it when I'm doing late night feeding with the kids and I'm sitting there focusing on it. Otherwise I don't notice it. Interesting: The heartbeat sound is a little funky but still effective. Buttons make a clicking sound. Didn't bother us but it is pretty loud.

AMAZING sound machine especially for the cost

I bought TWO! one i keep plugged in under the babies bassinet and the other i have batteries in and take on the go every time we leave the house. You could just buy one and plug in when home and unplug it & use with batteries when you leave- but i have multiple kids and wanted more than one in case we needed them in their separate rooms. My older kids don’t need it so we use the spare for travel. Not as compact as other machines but i slide it down the side of her infant carrier and ahe doesn’t seem at all bothered by it. Several options of sound to choose from. Has a time interval option for auto shut off or continuous use. Volume is good. We use this every single day. And we do take on all our trips as well.

Best sleep in a while

My husband snores and this device is so soothing that not only am I not hearing his snoring, nothing is waking me up at night. The only negative is I find it hard to get out of bed because I am in such a deep sleep when my alarm goes off. I have been using it for over a month and it really makes a big difference.

Nice for baby

We had the on-the-go version of this noise machine and are so happy to have one that plugs into the wall. The lowest volume setting is slightly louder than the travel version but is great for us. We like having it on all night for our family which would kill batteries on the travel version. We wanted the music since our baby has had it since they were born and it has been working faithfully for a few months now. I would highly recommend this for someone who likes having a noise maker. The baby has turned on the timer and it will keep the setting for the next time it is turned on (so you'll have to turn it off if you want it to stay on). Great buy.

Small. Loud. Transportable.

Really love the ocean waves sound, the volume and the ability to have this battery or AC powered. It’s nice to be able to move it. We still have a smaller travel machine for day trips but we like this one better and it’s not huge. Biggest pet peeve is that the buttons do click loudly which is a poor design for a machine that goes with sleep; however we rarely have to adjust it and so far the button clicks have not woken the baby.

We have the older green version of this sound machine in two kids' bedrooms, and bought this updated version for our baby's bedroom. All 3 have the same sounds, which matters to me because kids can be fussy with little changes like that. I think both the sound and quality of the new product are superior, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I really, really like that this version has buttons instead of knobs. After a few hundred falls on the floor, and a move to a new house, the knobs don't always work. There are no such issues with the buttons. It's also easy to control the volume, which I appreciate. Above and beyond the technical aspects of this sound machine, I'd also like to just say that this is a fantastic device for parent peace of mind. It's HARD getting kids to go to sleep and stay asleep. Especially if you live in a smaller house, older house, or just make noise after your kids go to bed. This sound machine is a lifesaver for providing enough white noise to keep littles asleep without being annoying or headache-inducing. We primarily use the "white noise" setting, but none of the sounds are offensive. My kids now stay asleep through sibling wakeups, storms, loud movies, vacuuming, cleaning, visitors coming and going, and other loud noises. Do yourself a favor, and add some security to your nighttime routine!

I don't know how much my baby actually likes it - but it works great. The only complaint I have is that the buttons are VERY loud when you push them and you're trying to keep your kid asleep. Other than that, it's wonderful.

Works for sleeping babies

This is our second white noise machine and I really like it! The one we had before had a knob you turn to raise and lower the volume, so sometimes it was hard to find the exact volume every night that I wanted (since my son would play with it during the day). Since this one is just a +/- button, it is easy to find the right volume, and even if my son plays with it, it is easy to switch bag. The price is great as well. Some of the reviews I've read say that it didn't help their child sleep, but my son is able to sleep with it on every night. Would recommend!

Happy with it.

Great little product for its suppose to do. My baby abuses this everyday (throws it around, turns it on and off). Still works great after 5 months. Has 5-6 different sounds. Good volume control. Only complain I have is the buttons are a little hard to press which makes a sound when pressed. Sucks to adjust volume when baby is already asleep bcos it makes a loud sound.
