The best dashboard mount.

It's my second dashboard mount of this kind. The first one served for 7+ years and needed a replacement because the bottom surface exposed to heat from the dashboard lost its traction capabilities. Providing the length of service of the first unit, it's a great value for the money spent. It's an overall great product and is highly recommended.

Getting a device that could move around didn't seem like a good idea

I've tried a variety of window suctions, vent clips and adhesives for cell phones and GPS devices and none really did the job. Getting a device that could move around didn't seem like a good idea. But I was wrong. I've used this portable friction mount for my Garmin Nuvi GPS in three different vehicles and it doesn't matter whether the dash was flat or rounded. IT WORKS PERFECTLY. No movement while I'm driving, even on sharp turns. And each driver in our family can put it exactly where it works best for them instead of where the air vent is or the holding device was installed.

Perfect for my Kia Soul's uneven dashboard!

I was concerned my dashboards uneven contour would be an issue but this one worked out perfect. Plus, because of the weight, it stays put! I tested it on a winding , hilly road making a few good sharp turns without a problem at all. No clamping, sticking, special mounting, scratching or messing up my dash. Perfect.

Good Cheap alternative

The GPS mount functions very well for the intended purpose. I personally never cared for the suction cup style of holders... always had an issue with keeping it attached. This is a great (cheap) alternative. The material on the bottom plus the weight keeps my GPS in place and I have more flexibility with the location of placement.

Needed Something Different

I bought this for my husband, he is a trucker and has tried many suction cup things to hold his gps/phone to the mount & they never work. This seemed like it would be helpful and I was right! Stays in place just like it should and not bulky at all.

A Quality Product and a Really Great Invention

I cannot say enough good things about this "invention" to keep Garmin Navigator GPS in place on a dash inside a vehicle. I have now purchased five, one for each car owner member of the family. They love theirs and I love mine. They never become dislodged from the place one sets them inside the vehicle unless they are manually moved. Our first "beanbag mount" is the one that holds the Garmin with the open slot at the bottom and the last four purchased are for the newer Garmin nuvi's with the "ball slot" on the back of the Garmin.

Works Great.

Installed the Gramin 770 in our Ram 250 using the wind shield mount. Neither my husband nor I could reach the Garmin. Bought the Bestand GPS Dashboard Mount and all problems were solved. Can now reach the Gramin without effort. The Bestand GPS Dashboard Mount stays put, doesn't slide around at all. My only wish was that the Bestand GPS Dashboard Mount came wit it's own Cradle Bracket Clip Mount. Then we could easily swap the Gramin 770 between our Ram and the Rav4

Fits 7” Garmin

Perfect for my 7” Garmin 770Dezl Commercial Truck GPS. Was worried the 7” would be too big but it fits like a glove. I have to bunji it to keep it from sliding but my dash is steeply slanted. It’d probably stick well to a flat surface. Much better than the stock mount it comes with.
