First let me say I have owned several bots over the years, I even tried several this year which all had there 30 day trial period. This bot is a keeper in my opinion. This bot will climb your walls, clean your bottom with a spinner brush that spins faster then it moves. It has a easy filter that is easily removable and washable. The cord isn't anti-tangle, but if you roll it out before you store the cable on its power plant timer, the cord will not tangle. PLUS in my opinion this bot has a pool store near me to where if it ever needs servicing I can bring it there. I had AquaBot and I really don't know what it is about them but I am NOT a FAN. Every bot I bought from them always arrived half assembied or remanufactured when it was suppose to be new. The parts on the Aqua bot also didn't seem as good quality as the Maytronics. I have personally called both AquaBot and Maytronics and personally I like the touch Maytronics has... I also bought a 3 year extended warranty from Amazon which is Asurion for $50.00 to protect me once the manufactures warranty expires. One to keep in mind upon reading all good and bad reviews about this bot. Don't know how, but most of the bad reviews for this bot are not about this bot. Look at the pictures. This bot only has 1 spinner, as most of the reviews show 2. Remember how this bot is suppose to look, then look at the reviewed pics.. 2 different kinds of pics. Anyways I love this and decided to share you my thoughts on it.. Good Luck.

I have been trying to convince myself that the expense of a robotic pool cleaner was worth it. After my 3rd year of being a pool owner and lugging out the manual vacuum, pole, hose, submerging the hose, fussing with the pump I finally broke down and bought this one. OMG I love it. You drop it in the pool, turn it on and it runs and picks up everything on the bottom of the pool. Our deep end is 8' and it will be all the way at the bottom and crawl all the way to the water line. It is pretty amazing. I can sit and watch it work for hours (ok thats an exaggeration but still) as it is very interesting how it creeps around the pool in what seems like a haphazard formation but in about 2 hours there is not a single leaf or speck of dirt anywhere on the pool. The control box sits easily under a bush and you can set it to run automatically daily, every other day or every 3 days. The filter container is amazing at filtering out the smallest of sand particles. Im amazed every time I pull it up to clean it out that there is so much sand in the basket. We have recently put the solar cover on the pool for our "cold Florida winter" and I was curious how it would work with the cover and crawling up to the water line but it has not had any problem. I do not have any issues with the Dolphin at all. I have to say it was money very well spent thus far. I have not had to lug out the old vacuum since I bought it.

I bought this Dolphin CC to replace a 9 year old Dolphin Premiere. I love it! Such an improvement as far as ease of use! Much lighter and the basket is so nice compared with those bulky $50 bags that had to placed just right in order to close the unit with the older model. I had this new unit in the water within 10 minutes of it being delivered! So simple, I’m extremely pleased!

Amazon is about 80% my supplier for business and home stuff. I am a busy guy and almost don't have time to writte reviews on products. But this robot has been my best purchase i am done for my pool. My pump pipes lines and filtration system are too old and they don't carry the proper water pressure to put to work a conventional vacum connected to the skimmer with a hose. I try 2 unit in the past and was frustating come back with the manual vacum.Spending hours a month to keep clean the bottom of my pool. We have tree surrounding from neighbours and you know what that mean... leaves, branches , etc. I kept my hope about a robot to do this job but I was no sure to invest a thousand bucks in one. I did some math considering pumping time, chemicals expend, work time from myself keeping maintenance of the pool. And honestly this machine pay itself in one year. My pump.work at 60% than before, without leaves and external agents on the water the chemical balance is longer, no more extra clorine, algicides, etc. I use the robot every 2 days, my pool is 20,000 gallons and 2 hours every week is enough to clean everything. The guy climb the pool wall all the way up (10 feet deeper area) without problem. The suction is strong creating a down force to stick the machine to the surface is doesn't matter if is vertical or horizontal. Is like a Formula One Ferrari attached to the speed track. I only blame myself for no to have buy before. Is bluetooth connection, you can download the apps from the manufacturer website and you can operate the controls from your cell wirelessly. Is a Robot you know, It has to be like this. I have a week with him and I am happy. Works smooth, easy and intuitive operation, and cheaper that a thousand bucks with excellent features. Large capacity basket, large aperture where suction happens, no problem taking mango leaves, palm leaves, very easy disposal the garbage when done. Parts replacement accesible, and definitely this company launch this robot with features of others more expensive. Thanks guys.

So far so great, I've had it for 2 days... Live in Arizona next to a dust bowl and Palo Verde droppings. I knew it was coming soon so I didn't clean the pool for a week. It was easy to get started and after a couple hours it picked up all the big stuff and got the pool looking half way descent. Filled up the catch basket and it was easy to clean. They sell a holder for this that I thought was expensive. Being in a hot climate, I wanted to leave it close to the pool and out of the sun since I intend to take it out when not in use unless we are going to be out of town. I got one of those plastic cargo boxes with a snapping lid and it fit perfect with the controller and cables. They suggest that if you are not using their holder to store it upside down - which is ideal for this box anyway. I have a swim up bar that has electric and hides it well so I am set. Very happy with the price compared to others I looked at. Oh yea, very few items such as phones, cameras and some electronics need to have extra insurance but I think this is one of those items. For $14 they offer a square trade extended warrantee giving you 4 years of piece of mind. I've had square trade coverage on a phone before and they do take care of you. If it can't be fixed, they'll give you a full refund which they did for me.

I have operated many commercial pools using Dolphin pool vacuums. When it came to buying a home pool unit I knew I wanted, a Dolphin. This unit is perfect for my 20x40 pool. The cord says15 meters (30 feet) but by placing the power unit mid pool means it can cover the whole pool. I own one of those pressure cleaners I just put by the by the sidewalk for free. They do not do the job a Dolphin will do and it will cost you less. I have been using my Dolphin now for several weeks and it cleans it perfectly. We have had a lot of rain, wind and debris and sometimes I have to run the unit twice to get all the organic matter cleaned up but the Dolphin is perfect. Easy to clean, easy to operate and does a bang up job. I still sweep my stairs and the sidewalks once in while. I don’t expect the Dolphin to do that. I have never had a pool cleaner (even the $13,000 dollar commercial Weda Pool Commercial pool cleaner didn’t do that) Having a clean pool means your chlorine works better and you won’t get algae growth. Organic materials on the bottom of your pool are bad for its health. Dolphin sorts my pool out. Take care of your “blue brain cord(bbc)”. When putting your unit in the pool also put all the bbc in the pool. Make sure there are no tangles in the bbc for best performance. When done I recommend disconnecting from the power unit and untwisting your cord. Do not allow anyone to bend or cause abrasions to the bbc or the connector to the power unit. Don’t leave it on tour pool all day or overnight it will cause damage to the bbc as well. Clean thoroughly each use and store in a shaded place. Sun and chlorine will age your bbc and the unit. Keep your unit clean and it should keep your pool happy. I wish it had a separate cord to pull on for removal from the pool. I don’t like having to pull on the bbc. Eventually that could be problematic so I’m going to sort out a resolution.

We've had this a week. So far so great! Picks up small rocks & the finest dirt. Update from 1 year later. Still working great!

I purchased the Dolphin Nautilus CC, since my kreepy krauly had died. The pool filled up with sand and leaves from the 2 mesquite trees in my backyard, imagine leaves the size of rice, and no problem the Nautilus CC picked it all up with ease. I emptied 5 chambers the first night. The next day we tried to tackle the finer sediment off the bottom, but the filters that came with it just weren't trapping it very well. Went to my local Maytronics dealer and picked up a pack of filters, model 9991466-R4 for $55. The chamber has 8 screws and replacing the filters took me about 15 minutes or so. Today we're running it with the new filters, I'll be sure to update if there's a huge change or if I have to get out the manual vacuum head. Update, after using the new filters, I 100% recommend this machine. It really picks up the fine sand, clay dust, dirt, the powdery silt that the basic filters missed. Rinsed the filters out with spray handle on my hose.

Received my Nautilus a few weeks ago and it has worked excellent every time I've had it in my inground pool. It takes about 1.5 hours to clean the walls and floor of my 40x20 and is easy to clean the filter after removing from the unit. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

His name is Frank, and he's a tank. In-ground saltwater pool (30k gallon, vinyl liner), and he made this year's pool opening a breeze. No streaks from drivetrain as others reported. Pulled up Pine tree needles, worms, dead algae, etc and has surprisingly a lot of capacity for collecting debris. My previous cleaner, a Polaris, is literally no match (assuming Frank lives past 4 years). Bought the Plus model - overall price point is great and performance spectacular so far. Only two problems I have is purchasing something this expensive comes virtually with no manual and the process of cleaning out Frank's filters is... Involved and you'll be touching a lot what he finds in your pool. Who cares- water is blue and clean! Two photos, 24 hours, and one clean cycle. —update, March 2018: frank worked well all season and continued to impress. The only consideration would be to purchase a caddy — moving without especially with long cord can be cumbersome. —update, may 2019. No issues to report, reliable all last season. Learned something about it while opening my pool this year. My previous cleaner (Polaris) paused a cleaning cycle when full of debris. I believe Frank has this feature too, but it’s limit is way different. To the point of me having to pull needles/debris out of the “traps” because it didn’t naturally fall out when opening them to clean up. Impressive capacity and ability to jam pack stuff. Will add picture if the upcoming cleaning does the same
