This privacy shutter fits my C920 like a glove. The fit is snug, the shutter opens and closes easily, but it's not loose - it stays at wherever position you leave it at. So for what it is, I rate it a five star. Because prices can go up and down over time I chose not to factor that into my review. But I have to say these should be selling for about $2 tops, not the $10.99 that I paid. Still, it's (currently) the cheapest alternative I could find to Logitech's even pricier privacy shutter offering.

When I bought my wife a Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 it came with a great little lens cover. What a great idea! We have two other webcams bought earlier without the cover, so I tried this aftermarket lens cover. It is *exactly* like the more expensive Logitech branded cover. Win!!

It's a lens cover for a webcam - for the stated models, it fits well, is easy to install (you just push it on to the front of the webcam) and is easy to use (you just flip it down to cover the lens when you want privacy and flip it back when you want to use the cam). This is a very cost-effective way to ensure that no one can be looking through your camera when you don't want them to - a must buy if you have one of the listed camera (check the model number) and care for privacy.

One could quibble over the price for a simple couple of pieces of plastic but ... it does what it's supposed to do. Fit the camera perfectly. Seems solid enough to last a long time if used reasonably gently. Everyone who has a webcam should have a physical barrier like this one. Don't trust the software to keep the camera off when you expect it to (often b/c you can't trust yourself to remember the right settings).

Does what it claims to do. Fits my Logitech C922x webcam. The cover is a friction fit and squeezes onto your camera. The hinge has a little friction to keep it open. It's nothing fancy but it works. I bought this because it was the cheapest privacy cover I could find on amazon.

I have Logitech c920 and c922 camera and wanted a cover that could work for both. This cover fits perfectly on both of them. Its very easy to clip on. Just put the bottom part of the clip on the bottom part of camera and then push the top part until it clicks on the camera. Don't push too hard as it's just a gentle click. Once attached it is possible to move it gently if it's not centered. It looks just like c920s that comes pre attached with logitech cover. When you need to use the camera you can gently lift the cover and the cover remains open. The open cover does not obstruct the view of the camera. When done just gently close it and it stays closed. I use the word gently as with over use anything will eventually break. It is plastic so using it gently will help the product last longer.

Have to use webcam for work conference calls but sometimes would see the camera lights "on" even when I was't on a call (I found it was the IM app we use tagging the camera but not actually broadcasting). Well, just to deal with paranoia, since this in my home office, I got the lens cover just so that when I'm not knowingly using it, nothing is visible... really, who wants to see me in my PJs checking on my Amazon orders at 2am?

I put it on my Logitech 920 and when shut it totally blocks the picture. There is no light that enters the lens at all. Very nice. It is also very easy to flip it open. I don't have the camera mounted at all, just sitting on top of the monitor and so far I'm not moving the camera around by opening and closing the lid. To me that means it has just about the perfect amount of seal to keep the light out and yet easy enough to open that I don't have to re-adjust the camera position every time, which can get annoying. However for what it is, I think it is rather expensive.

This fits well on the C922x. You do have to give it a good press to get it on, but it has a nice thin rubber layer on the mounts to stay in place. It's almost like the Logitech original cover, except when you open it you can see the shiny metal pin holding the cover to the frame. This really doesn't matter and you wouldn't know it if you didn't have one of the originals (I have a C920s as well).

This does exactly what you want it to do. I can't think of what you might think would go wrong with it, but... it has never fallen off of my camera (a Logitech C920), even with me moving the camera around from time to time. It was also very easy to install. Installation was not so difficult that I worried about anything breaking or getting scratched. Buy this if you want a privacy shield for your Logitech C920! (Oh, and as of me writing this, this was definitely the cheapest option.)
