This item does exactly what we need it to do-- corral all the charger cords for our devices. We live in a house built long the charger era. Our kitchen has a breakfast bar with one outlet at each end. On one side, the coffee maker takes up one outlet. At the other side, an electric kettle does the same. So we are left with two outlets for all our devices, not to mention anything like a vacuum, electric knife, food processor, etc. I like charging in a central location and wanted something unobtrusive. I did buy a pyramid/tower style charger but didn't care for that as much. This device lays flat along the counter against the wall and blends about as much as reasonably could be hoped. It has plenty of USB ports, charges quickly, and seems to work well. I cannot comment on the surge protection; we have whole house protection and I don't believe it's really been tested in that regard. I am very pleased with this purchase and would absolutely recommend.

After buying a couple of smaller USB/AC power strips like this for my spare bedrooms, I realized that for modern people, 3 USB outlets isn't enough. In fact, all the outlets on a small strip with 2 or 3 AC outlets and 3 USB ports will be taken up by USB cords, alarm clock power needs and other random charger or outlet cord needs. Every night I charge a phone and a Bluetooth headset on a bedside table, along with a fan and a laptop I sometimes use in bed. My wife charges her Fit Bit every 2-3 days in addition to her Kindle, iPhone and iPad. We just started using and loving a pair of clamp-on USB-powered headboard lights for our bed, and, boom, we're not only out of USB outlets, but we're out of AC outlets as well. This has become normal life for a huge swatch of humanity. You can either have USB outlets strewn about your house, or consolidate them into the most convenient place, or the place you need to charge things. Using my phone as my alarm clock kind of dictates consolidation in the bedroom. It was frustrating having to pick and choose what to charge, and to move cords around, etc. Well, that is now a thing of the past, this monster is everything I need, and exactly what I wish I had purchased to start with. People, don't waste your money on those smaller, supposedly cheaper power strips. When you realize that you need two of them, and that one of these would have done the job right from the start, you'll get this thing and forget all those little ones. A couple of things I should point out. A 6 foot cord turns out to be a necessity for your end table or headboard needs. Some of the smaller USB outlet strips I got had 3 foot cords, and they were always too short... an extension cord was always needed. Also, these USB outlets are marked as to power. Two are high-power USB 2.1A outlets for fast charging smart phones and tablets. The other 4 are 1A outlets, suitable for normal overnight charging needs. Most other outlet strips are either all low power (so you have to use an AC outlet with a fast-charging transformer to get the 2.1A high-power USB port you need), or say that one is high power and one is normal, but don't bother to mark them. Now it's a guessing game. I like this unit's clarity of markings and ease of use. Long story short, I'm only going to order these units from now on. They are only slightly larger than the smaller USB strips, but WOW, are they more versatile and "once and done". And it is much smaller than TWO of those little strips, let me assure you. The one I got works great, looks good, and was well made - no issues or concerns. I came back to Amazon to order another one right now, which is what prompted me to write this review. Hopefully it will help some of you who are looking at the 10,000 or so USB outlet strips available on Amazon to choose the right one - this one.

Appears to be extremely well built. It has a heavy duty power cord that has a Velcro strap to use when needed. I needed the full length of the cord so I used the Velcro strap to wrangle my snake pit of cords. The power strip is quite heavy and has rubber pads on bottom to keep it from slipping, another nice feature. I like the design as well and the USB port are extremely helpful. Nice product that I would be happy to recommend, albeit it only arrived today.

A lot of these cheap, no brand power strips and USB solutions will set off alarms with more sensitive electronics. I went through a few before this one that simply wouldn't charge a PS4 controller or a Vita or they'd droop voltage and set off low power modes on other devices. This, so far at least, seems to actually be doing the job. I'll keep an eye on it but so far I'm pleasantly surprised. Pros: Lots of USB ports, cleanly marked Lots of power plugs Decent overall aesthetics, good price Works with sensitive electronics Is actually a surge protector and not just a power strip Cons: Plugs are too close together, a little extra spacing would have been great Power switch is really junky feeling. Hardly matters but you'll understand my mentioning it if you ever get one of these.

I just received this power strip a week ago and l am extremely happy because my devices are better organized. If anything changes l will update this review. I only use Covery usb cables (bundle of 6 in different lengths for $8.99) and the cables turn this power strip into a fast charging beast. I leave the usb cables in the ports and let them hang down after l grab a device. I love this new method! No more misplaced cables! I am very happy with the long length of the cord on this power strip. The plug outlets have been a bonus. I'm happy with this product. I DID NOT receive this product for free in exchange for my review nor did l receive a taco, gift card, lottery ticket, milkshake, etc.

So glad to have found this perfect power strip to replace my old bulky Belkin! I'm very happy with this purchase. I have to say the quality is very satisfying. The white color is the right shade of white, texture on the power strip makes it easy to clean. Function wise, 6 plugs and 6 USB port, its more than what I need. The cable is really thick and very durable. I extremely like that it came with a little Velcro that I can neat up the look for areas that I don't need the long cable hanging. I would definitely recommend this to everyone because I'm on the way to order more for my daughters' bedrooms.

This power strip is perfect for setting up little media stations around the house. You can plug in an array of appliances without worrying about reserving outlets to charge phones and tablets. For example, I used one to setup a TV in my kitchen to follow along with cooking tutorials. I can plug in all appliances needed, the TV to watch the tutorial, an amazon fire stick or google chrome for streaming, and charge my phone for controlling the streaming devices. In addition, any guest that comes over my house always has a place to plug in their phone. As an added bonus it came with a cable that happens to fit my Galaxy S6 so everywhere I set up a media station with this power strip is a place I know I can charge my phone.

Great powerstrip. I got tired of having to unplug my phone to charge my iPad, or Bluetooth headphones etc. it was like playing Jenga to make all the cords fit in the outlet in my bedroom. This powerstrip solves all these issues, also I can charge my bulkier iPad plug next to my Samsung charger and the fast USB ports really do support fast charging for my IPad Pro and Note 8. I’m am pleased and thoroughly impressed. I was concerned that there were no wall mount holes in the back, but the Velcro tab on the side let my attach it to my night stand conviently.

No two situation area identical, but I will bet others have the same issues as me. I have a couple of dozen devices that need to be charged by a USB or AC connection. I have been juggling the provided chargers for cameras, lights, phones and accessories, iPads, iPods, battery chargers, golf watches....and on and on. I have a handy spot on my desk for a USB/AC strip, so I selected this unit because of its tidy packaging. It works as advertised, and has cleaned up my mess. I should have taken a photo of what this space looked like before, but you can see how simple the new device is in its position. So far, it is working exactly as advertised.

Update 04-21-2019 - Had to buy for for my sibling's desk to keep him from stealing mine. I got him the model with the ears since he wants to mount it to his work station. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MCH9VDJ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A16VSS7IKFBC70&psc=1 Update 03-18-2019 - I just bought another one to tame the chargeblock clutter in the master bedroom. It isn't bulky or extra long and it stays where I put it on my desk without the power cord twisting it to one side or the other like so many do. I will admit that those who complain about lack of mounting holes and lack of space between 110 plugs do have a point.... But, even on my huge power strips I often have to use 1' extension cords because so many charging blocks are bulky. And besides, I don't have many things these days that won't use a usb socket if available so I haven't even needed to plug any 110 blocks into this one. As for the no mounting holes, I don't use them often anyhow since I normally move my stuff from one side of the country to the other every six months. If you need to mount it, grab some thermoplastic and make mounting ears for it. (My main power stip has a thermoplastic hook on it so it will hang off the side of my desk, since I can never keep the damn things on the little mounting screws in the first place) -01-07-2019
