Way better than the Walmart one that broke.

Great toy for the price!

Great cash register for the price (I paid around $23), although it is a bit smaller than I expected (it fits inside a shoebox). For those people complaining about the scanner not working, make sure the overhead lighting in the room us bright enough. The scanner works by detecting shadows passing over the detector, so if the room is too dark, it cannot detect the shadow. The microphone is not too loud, but my kiddo is so loud as is.. don't need to magnify his voice too much. I love all the functionality of this toy!

Every feature functions. Impressive.

This seems like the best play register out there. Everything works. The register itself is a working calculator. The microphone and speaker work while a button is pressed. ("I need a price check.") Of course, the drawer dings when it opens. Credit card sounds when swiped. Conveyor belt moves. Its short, but adorable. Sensor works when touched by any object - register beeps. Category buttons on the scale enter actual amounts on the calculator screen. Scale is springy, goes down with weight. Drawer key works - but lock is easily picked if misplaced. Includes paper money and over-sized plastic coins from various nations (mostly euros), a bunch of groceries and shopping basket, as pictured. Comes in a nice, but modest printed cardboard box similar to an average ladies' sized shoe box. Coins need to be twisted out of their frames, and a pre-folded boxes come flat. The unit measures 12" x 7" x 5". Only improvement would be if they could tell me they have sustainable and moral business practices.

Works as advertised

Works well. Lots of fun. Grandsons 3,5,7 have fun playing grocery store. My 10 year old grandniece stopped by and had fun with it too.

I just got this today for my 2 yr old and 7 yr old and they loved it! I loved it as well and played with them. I love that it makes noises just like a real register and it has a mic u could talk into and pretend to have a sale happening . It's very fun and I really do recommend it . Everything in the pic came except the key which didn't really matter because it opens with the open key anyways .

It really works!!

My grandkids love this. It's everything it says it is. I love to listen to them on the microphone, "chicken nuggets with ranch for Grandma". We have a blast.

This is a great little cash register!

This is a great cash register with so much fun stuff for the kids to play with. The microphone is fun, the little conveyor belt moves, the scanner reads bar codes, the credit card reader beeps, the calculator works. Its just such a fun cash register with so many different features. We've been through several different kinds over the past 10 years with our kids, and this is one of my favorites. I bought this for my daughter's 3rd birthday, and the only downside was that it came in a brown box with a drawn image of the register on the outside. (however, I've found this to be the case with a lot of the toys from Amazon). So before wrapping it I had to remove it from the package and wrap it unboxed. It would be hard to gift to someone else's child, but for us it worked out fine. My daughter (and her two older siblings) love this toy! I highly recommend this product!

Amazing more than I expected

It's totally worth the money I haven't tried it with batteries cause I am waiting for my child to open it n such but it make a dying sound when it opens the money thing so it's still cool the food is basic and I wouldn't give the milk cartons to my child shes 2 but still eats the cardboard so I'm a bit iffy about the paper money well see what happens but I am sure I'll have fun playing with her it also comes with a debit card and plastic counts so I love it.

Cutest working cash register

This is seriously the cutest cash register. Wish I would've had something like this as a kid. The little belt moves, the speaker/microphone works, the scale actually weighs stuff and the scanner makes a beep sound when you pass something over the top of it. Absolutely adorable. Only issue is that the paper money is really small so not the best for a toddler.
