Value for your money

I operate a music lesson studio and I have had 5 students order Donner ukuleles. My students are on budgets and these instruments are in their price range while being decent for beginners. A lot of ukuleles for this price are toys with terrible tone that will not stay in tune. If you are serious about learning ukulele but have a budget, I highly recommend!

Good quality, affordable price.

I just received this ukelele yesterday and I'm already having so much fun! It's so worth the price. The tuner is works very well. I tried to learn guitar in my teens but got really frustrated. I'm having a much easier time with the ukelele because of the smaller size. It's hard to feel stressed, sad, angry when you hear the sound of a uke. I'm happy that I ordered this one.

Outstanding. At the price for the complete kit, I expected it to be just OK. Boy, was I fooled! It sounds great. It holds it's tune. (The included tuner is handy.) It is good looking. I had planned to use it for awhile and then upgrade to a more expensive instrument. I see no need to do so. I liked it well enough to buy a second one for my grand daughter. She plays multiple instruments and is quite pleased to add this ukulele to her collection.

Great uke. Def recommend

This is a great quality uke with an awesome tuner and great packaging. I originally had a soprano but wanted an upgrade so I got the concert. If you're a beginner with small hands I would recommend the soprano bc the fretboard is a little wider and harder to reach. Otherwise it was really cheap but still incredible quality. Definitely recommend

Great instrument

I wanted to play an instrument and chose the Donner Tenor Ukulele and have been so thrilled. The tuner is easy and works great. The bag is just right, cushioned and sturdy. The extra strings are a bonus. But the ukulele is the star of the show. It looks lovely, sounds great, and is easy to play. Even though I've never played guitar before, I haven't had any trouble learning the basic first chords. I've never been a fan of the tiny soprano ukuleles but the tenor size sounds deeper and I am very happy with it.

A good one. Nice flat finish, even though I would prefer glossy. Well worth the money. Its volume seems especially good and I attribute that to its spruce top. Has been a only a few days since I received it and the strings are still requiring frequent, almost constant, adjustment, but I suspect that this will improve soon. Unlike other inexpensive uke outfits, this one has a nice padded fabric gig bag, rather than a plain, single ply plastic one. A good sized zippered accessory compartment on the bag is a plus.

This uke is absolutely amazing..

Have two ukes already but wanted another as to have a loaner for friends. Well, this uke is absolutely amazing...sounds better than ukes costing three times as much. Great value for what you get as well. Great sound and a great value...

Very nice first Ukulele

This is my first ukulele and I am very happy with it. It appears well made and I cannot find any lazy mistakes or flaws in the craftsmanship. The designs on it are not stickers or paint they seem to be branded in the wood. The bag actually has some padding and the tuner works great. The strap works well but is not top design quality. You get everything you need to start playing and a very nice instrument. I have learned several basic songs in the first couple weeks like "Three Little Birds" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Was worried the first couple times playing but just kept trying and eventually go it.

Great beginners package. The tuner is easy to use and works perfectly. The bag is more than enough to protect the ukulele. The extra strings were a plus. The ukulele was in perfect condition, after stretching the strings a little bit, the tuning went flawless. As with any ukulele, I have to do a proper tuning every day, but it holds pretty well for an entire session. It could be really loud, but the sound is fantastic. I will update this review in a few months to report how the instruments holds daily practice. Update: after a few weeks practicing everyday, the strings are now holding the notes properly. All accessories are working as expected.
