Very nice saw for good price, I've been using it for cutting firewood since it arrived packed very well. Starts easily every time, lots of power for 20" saw. I've cut oak logs up bigger than 20 in. No problem, like butter. Like attached chain adjust tool comes in handy. Uses A lot of chain oil, so keep watch. Very happy with purchase, saved me A lot of work.

it handles our medium size limbs with ease. has power, easy to handle.

Well folks, being that I now have 6 chain saw, have to say: * First it comes with a very nice hard carry case, that allows plenty of room to store an extra chain, engine oil and bar oil. :-) * Second it comes with the wrench to tighten the chain, stored in the bottom of the handle :-) * Had plenty of power for my use :-) * 20" chain bar is nice for cutting average yard tree trunks , but not huge tree trunks :-) * Worked well making tree stump chairs for the neighbor kids :-) * Tommy would buy the chain saw again, but 6 chain saws is enough :-) * Sorry folks, it seems I forgot to take a picture of the stump chairs I made, though I understand the kids loves them when sitting around the back yard fire pit, sipping on Juice Boxes.

I don’t get all the negative reviews. I have owned and worked on 6 saws over the years. This one starts easily and idles nicely. I took down and cut up 2 big trees over 30”diameter. It has plenty of power. I would recommend this to anyone. I use the canned 50:1 fuel and have no problem.

I love the saw. I have used it steady for two months to cut hardwoods and it has stood up to the challenge. Great power. The only issue is that the chain oiler will continue to feed while the saw is not in use. It will fill the case with oil between uses if you do not remember to drain the remaining oil after use or while you take a break.

Starts right up 2nd pull out of the box. Stored it dry after the first use. Pulled it out of the shed 3 months later on a 34 degree morning. Fired right up on the second pull.(after filling it with gas and oil of course). Ooooooo yea it cuts too! Came with a super sharp Oregon chain. Throws 3" curling's of hardwood.

I had a McCullough 16 inch 29 cc saw before. This has so much more power, runs smoother, idles nicely, & seems to be better balanced. First time I fired it up, I knew it was better. Ran it through some 3 inch logs, & just for fun cut them into 6 inch lengths to test the saw. When you shut the saw down & walk away with a smile, you know you bought the right one.

My husband purchased this saw to replace two Stihls that were no longer working. He was a little hesitant, since this is not supposed to be as great a brand as what he had. He was very happy with it. He says it cuts through wood like butter. after using it to cut up our firewood, he informed me that he doesn't even intend to try to fix his other chainsaws now. He's not happy with this. Most definitely a recommended item.

Purchased this saw and premixed fuel for my son for a birthday gift, as I have the older model and it is outstanding. I did advise that he absolutely should read and follow the owner's manual information from cover-to-cover; specifically about start-up and use, as doing so would save him a bit of grief. As with the older model, following the proper start-up procedure makes for a quick start every time. Shortly after his day, he used this saw on his property to take down a tree, and numerous large limbs from other trees, and said the saw worked flawlessly. As neither of us use the saws on a daily, or even regular basis, the premix fuel is very convenient and has kept my saw running without problems. Good saws!

DO NOT PRIMER 10X AS INSTRUCTED! FIRST TIME 5X THEN 3-5 AFTER THAT! I am not sure why they advocate such a number of priming the fluid but its just not necessary and could flood your engine. I highly recommend doing this. After much research I purchased this saw coming to the conclusion that even though it was overkill for what I was doing (cutting firewood for camping/hunting camp), it was the best buy and excellent worth. It seems that if you want your saw to last, its not a bad idea to get a bit bigger saw as they are built to last longer. Poulan seems to be the B team of Husqvarna. This is a good thing as its an indication that the same level of quality and practices are applied here. I have used this saw a few times after the past few months and have to say, if you read the manual (which I did top to bottom) it performs exactly as expected. It should be specified that I am an amateur and am not a saw expert, but it seemed sturdy and powerful and did exactly what I expected it to do. Excellent priced saw. Hope it lasts me a long time.
