All of my electronics are dual voltage so I just needed some Euro plug converters for a family trip to the Netherlands. There's no need for the bulk and weight of transformers if the chargers already operate from 100 to 240 volts. These kept two laptops, two tablets, three phones, and a digital camera charged with no problems. Both sides fit their respective outlet/plug perfectly. They were lightweight and well made. I'd love to say that I'd buy them again but I can't imagine needing to; these will last a lifetime. Bear in mind, you're only buying something that allows you to plug an American-style blade plug into a round Euro-style outlet. This does nothing for voltage, frequency, etc. Check the fine print on your chargers to make sure they're good to operate at 240V 50Hz. If they are, you're good to go.

We just got back from our trip to Italy and these plugs were just what we needed to charge all our devices. They worked in every hotel we stayed in and fit snugly and easily into the recessed electrical sockets. We were able to use our power strips with no problem to charge our iPads, phones, battery chargers and even my hair iron. I suggested that my friends buy them as well and they were equally satisfied. If you are traveling to Italy, these are the adapters to get!

I just came back from a trip to Greece and used them in different parts of the country. I was in Athens, Delphi and Olympia and they worked fine in all of the hotels. I was also up in the mountain areas of Greece and they worked well there also. I used them to charge my Samsung phone, blow dryer and flat iron. Was pleased with this purchase. They fit in nicely and were sturdy as well.

Cheap and Cheerful! We just took a trip to Italy and couldn't find our old clunky multi-adapters, so ordered this set at the last minute. They arrived on time, worked like a charm for all our chargers and took up practically no weight or space in our luggage. Highly recommend.

Worked as expected. We traveled to Spain and France and had zero problems with these adapters. I love the fact that there are two places to plug in per adapter.

Used these in Iceland, Scotland, and Ireland with ZERO issues in 2016. Although the outlets in those countries sometimes gave the impression that they were not compatible, this product ended up fitting like a glove every time. Pro tip: if you can't get the prongs into an outlet that seems like it should be compatible, try putting the plug in at an angle (e.g., pushing the left side in first, then wiggling the right side in or vice versa). And if you meet resistance, odds are that you are using an outlet that has a built-in safety feature that you need to manually "override" by pushing open the hidden flaps at the top of the outlet (using the prongs on one plug) while you gently guide the other plug in underneath. Works like a charm every time. Please don't let children try this advanced technique.

I got this after my Spain/France/Italy trip. Basically, type E/F works for France/Spain/Germany, and L for Italy.Type C works for France/Spain/Germany/Italy, but as others have noted, it can fit a bit loose in a type E/F socket. This is why I also got a set of 3 E/F adapters. Type C is fine for Italy. First, I started the trip with a single E/F adapter and an extension cord with three outlets. We rapidly filled those three outlets, and I ended up getting more adapters. I will still carry the extension cord, but now I think it makes more sense to carry several adapters and scatter them around the room. The extension cord concept led to a big mess in the middle of the room as I tried to plug all the cell phone chargers, laptop chargers, my wife's hair iron, etc. I like the fact that these are USA plugs. I don't need to plug British appliances into European sockets, and those "super universal" adapters with all the strange front side sockets are designed to please everyone. All I need is USA sockets. Plus, the adapters I bought abroad didn't always accept polarized plugs, which several of my USA appliances have. Last I should discuss technical/safety issues. European plugs are designed for safety, having proper grounds, and make it physically impossible for kids to touch hot electrical wires while plugging into the wall. In the USA we apparently leave that up to Darwinisim. The point being these adapters inherently remove all of the safety features of European plugs, and in addition, make it very easy to plug 110v USA appliances into 220v European power and thus burn them out, shock you or cause fires. Your safety is in your hands here. For every appliance you bring to Europe, it should say CLEARLY on the power supply that it takes 100 volt through 240 volt power. If it does not, don't bring it. Some devices actually have a switch for 110v or 220v power, like my hair dryer. Switch that to 220v when you put it in your suitcase. Also be aware that these adapters (talking about the type C here) do not connect the ground pin to anything. Your appliances should have nothing but plastic covers, no metal, and you should keep them OUT of the bathroom and away from water.

These worked great! Last year I took a different brand I purchased at Best Buy and ruined a nice curling iron. It was also bulky. These are rather small, have an extra plug and I had no problems. I used them at the hotel, airports and even on the planes and trains. I highly recommend!

The high ratings this product has received are well deserved. These adapters fit snugly and worked reliably in the many Italy outlets I plugged them into. Worked with everything from computers to hair dryers. Make sure your devices are all rated for 240 VAC operatiuon, mine were all dual (120 / 240 V) rated and everything worked great. The adapters actually offer two standard US outlets on each adaptor which I used them both a lot of the time. Highly recommended!

I loved everything about these sleek, lightweight and convenient adaptors. This is the 2nd set of 3 that I have purchased. The first was for a trip throughout Europe last summer. I so appreciated how compact and attractive looking these are, and so convenient to keep track of when packing up for next destination in the little box in which they come. I left the first ones in Europe for a friend to use and they loved them as well. This 2nd set I purchased for another trip to Europe and this time I kept them for my next trip abroad. Excellent design and prompt delivery. The owner of the company even contacted me directly to make sure I was completely satisfied and I am! Highly recommended! PS - I forgot to mention the excellent price as well. If I had purchased anything even remotely similar in Europe it would have cost at least twice as much. Annie
