Works great!!!

I got this for my daughter and she rarely cleans out her car. I told her to put it in her car and it will make a difference so of course she didn’t believe me. I asked her the next day how her car smelled when she got in this morning she said how it does work the car smelled a little better. I told her and that was just overnight give it a day or two and it will smell even better. Hopefully this doesn’t stop her from cleaning her car even less but at least when I have to ride in it the smell won’t be that bad.

Fantastic—they really work!

These are wonderful. I can’t say enough good things. We live in an older house, and travel a lot, and these save the day. Everything used to smell musty when we returned, but not any more! It also sucked up some fish odor after an ill-advised dinner choice. I recommend these to everyone.

Work great in multiple settings.

I was skeptical when I bought these, but was willing to try anything that would eliminate 100% of the litter box scent from my cats’ two litter boxes. They’re not super smelly boxes as they’re well maintained, but I have a sensitive nose. I tried putting one of the bags on a hook about a foot above the litter box and waited. It worked. ALL scent went away. In fact, I was able to move the litter box and carbon bag into an area just off the kitchen (more convenient to clean) and I still smell nothing from the litter box. I’ve since tried these in my car (strong chemical smell after having some bodywork done), in the garbage/composting area, and in the laundry area. In each situation, they’ve worked great. I’ve noticed I need to recharge the ones I keep by the cat litter boxes about every 6 weeks (not quite as frequently as the month they recommend); I simply put them outside in the sun for a few hours. When they come back in, they go right back to work, good as new. The one thing I’ve noticed about how long they last between “charges” has to do with how moist the environment is where they’re being used. The more moisture, the more frequently they need to be recharged. If you’re trying to clear/mask a scent in your environment, I recommend giving these a try. Before they even arrived, I received a note from the seller asking me to please contact them to work out any problems as often problems could be resolved before involving Amazon. Sure, this is a smart strategy to achieve positive reviews. But it also signaled to me that the company would stand behind the product. To me, that spoke volumes.

I can't quite believe how well these work!

I bought these out of desperation after my cat peed in my car the day I went out of town for two weeks. I got it professionally cleaned when I got back, but it didn't do much, except make my car smell like cat pee and cleaning chemicals. Two days after putting one of these in the car, and both scents are almost entirely gone. (A word of warning: the satchels themselves smell like a campfire, and I was at first concerned I was just adding a third smell to the car, but it does seem to be a neutralizer, since that smell went away, as well.) I also gave a couple to my sister, too, who had bought an antique chest that smelled overwhelmingly like mothballs, and it took care of that, as well.

Witchcraft!

Absolute black magic. I have a few examples (smelly diaper bins, stinky fridge) but by far the best example is my dogs' bedroom. I have 5 dogs. 5 gassy, panty, dog-breath, I-like-to-roll-in-everything dogs. They all nap in the same room because the floor is cold and it's Texas. I hooked one of these up on the wall behind one of their crates and high enough up no one could get it, and left it for about 4 hours. When I came back four hours later, I expected to be hit full face with hot sweaty dog smell, slightly lessened. There was nothing. Nada. Zilch. There was no smell at all. I'm rather flabbergasted. I'm so pleased with them I'm going to be ordering more for a smoky garage (smoker parent left boxes with me...) and probably toss one in my car too. These are fantastic!

Everyone needs these!

I wasn't sure what I was expecting - all I knew was that with 3 dogs, and a child - my house wasn't smelling fresh no matter how often I cleaned it. Plus my minivan just was not smelling great either for the reasons stated above. So I opened the bag and found the nice sacs in a grey material - loved that they have a grommet feature so I can hang them. I put the first one in my laundry room - since my dogs walk through there almost daily and well - it stinks. About 3 hours later I took the pups out and the laundry room smelled .... like nothing. Literally just clean air. I was shocked. I put the other bags in my daughters bedroom, a bathroom, and my minivan - and they are working wonderful. No heavy smells at all - my asthma hasn't picked up anything - I think I am in love.

They really do absorb and neutralize odors. Will work perfect in small cars and houses/apartments.

These are about the size of a corn hole bag(pic). When I got them I had a laguna air freshener in my car(small cabin/Bmw coupe) with about a week left(I’m guessing) and about 20hrs later this thing sucked all the scent from the car(not mad, it did it’s job). The day I put them in the car I also put one in my bathroom(smallish size). It has an automatic spray freshener(every 30min), this thing stops that scent and the rest of the normal bathroom smells, it might be the two working together but this thing for sure picks up the slack of the sprayer. 1100sqft apt: Got one in my bedroom on top of a tv in the center of the room. And one in the center of the family room. I smoke sometimes on the baclomy(15-20ft from the bag in the family room) and this thing helps absorb most of the nicotine that floats in with me(that’s very good) Unless you have some crazy things going on with wild smells these things will Have to be doubled up or you’ll just need to stick to things with fragrance. But for normal Life/smells, one in every room of a small house/medium apt will help a good amount at neutralizing doors without the help of scented mediums.

Off gassing

Bought for off gassing of new furniture. Bought a shoe rack made of some wood and some plywood. I had the shoe rack out in the sun for months and I could still smell the thing off gassing. Bought these charcoal bags and put underneath the shoe rack where the exposed plywood is and that took care of the smell. Also using it in the drawers of new dressers for baby’s room. Made of real wood but can still smell the finish. Put a bag in each drawer. Works great.

Fabulous results

No more doggy odors in the house, no more smell of dirty laundry in the laundry room, reduction of cooking odors spreading through the house. The combination of my furnace filter and electronic room air filter combined don't work as well as a few of these spread around. The odors were gone in a few hours. I'm getting some more for other areas of the house as well. Safer than flowery sprays, burning scented candles and plug in "air-freshers" whose synthetic perfumes I can't stand.

People Need to Know About This.

Okay, so over a year ago, my sister left some milk in my car, in the middle of summer, parked in the hot car for a week at an airport. You can imagine my disgust and frustration when we came back to that awful smell. It hadn’t wavered in over a year! It STILL smelled! Since that fateful day (I can’t stress this enough) I DID EVERYTHING I could possibly do to get rid of it. I vacuumed, scrubbed the carpets, bought air fresheners and deodorizers, everything. I happened upon this product, noticed the good reviews, and thought, why not? I’ve tried everything else. We hung two in the vehicle, and within days, I noticed the smell had dissipated. I honestly couldn’t believe it and still can’t believe it. 5 stars. Easily. And thank you to the creator for restoring my sanity.
