great product, good price

These stamps provide a clean well defined impression. They are very easy to use and appear to be sturdy enough to last for many uses. The 6mm (1/4") size makes it very easy to read.

Works for a noob

Strong sturdy, did exactly what I needed. I am new to this so don't have much else to add (yet)

Nice set!

I was allotle scared to purchase since some said they had letters missing. But I checked and I have all mine. They are nice and heavy. The protective coating does have an odd smell but it was easy to clean off my hands. I got them for a leather project but don't have the leather yet so I'll update if I have issues.

Great Product

This is a great product and it is just what we needed to stamp leather.

Very sturdy for pounding or pressing into anything!

First of all, these suckers are little but they're HEAVY! That's a good thing if you're gonna be beating on them with a hammer; I don't think it would be possible to damage the steel with average use. The letters are 1/4" or about 8mm tall when stamped, and the posts are 2.5" long. They come neatly packed in a sturdy plastic box. These are the kind of tools that you can have your whole life. The letters are clear and make good impressions, all capitals. They are well aligned, not perfect but fine by me. Just one thing - they come with a lot of some kind of oil in the box, so you might want to take each one out and wipe them off a bit so you don't get that stuff all over your fingers. I turned them all face-up, so they're easy to see and grab. As a Prime member, I buy a LOT of stuff from amazon. Living out in a rural area far from a city, amazon is my go-to source for many of my purchases. I must rely heavily on your product reviews to help me decide which item is best for me -- especially when I can't actually see, touch or hold the product. Good quality for the money.

When I went to the local part store & saw this set cost $70 I looked on Amazon & found this set for 1/5 that price.... When they arrived I immediately used them... They are a little tight to pull out individually so I found it easier to just dump them all out... With 1 simple tap (my 4 yr old was swinging the hammer) each letter stamped onto the metal frame of a trailer perfectly & clearly... I made the mistake of double tapping which made it look blurry.. This is a very good product for the money.

Great set for the price.

Just what I expected. For those with complaints about "oil", that's what keeps them rust free during shipment. They clean right up with any solvent that will remove oil. Must use them with a metal hammer and work piece should be on a very solid surface. Great results with a little practice.

Built tough.

Great punch set, used mine to punch numbers on keys, built tough and I use a 3 lbs. Muni sludge hammer to make the mark.

Worked on brass...

Arrived next day, all stamps were enclosed. I stamped a brass data plate easily.
