Quality product....Excellent customer service.

I purchased this set of Vinkor flameless candles 2 weeks ago. I received it and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and look of them. They easily compare and/or surpass the leading brand in quality and looks and are superbly priced. Upon turning them on and setting the timer very easily with the remote for 3 of my candles, which incidentally make no noise when they flicker, I was at a loss of how to set the other ones separately from the first three, as the remotes work for all. I hadn’t received the user manual. I called Amazon and their customer service was great, once they transferred me to a U.S supervisor who understood what I was saying. Upon explaining the reason for my call, she tried to find a customer service number for Vinkor, but could not. I had told her that I wasn’t willing to send back my shipment just to have it resent, hoping a manual would be included this time around, as the first representative suggested. That did not make any sense at all. She was very kind in suggesting I write a note directly to the seller, through Amazon and that I would get a reply within 48 hours. I got a reply within 4 hours and Vinkor apologized for their oversight and offered to send me a candle along with the manual. I was expecting just the manual and appreciated the way Vinkor handled their oversight. I understand that these things happen sometimes and being in customer service for over 25 years, it really comes down to making the customer happy and wanting to come back. My customer service experience with Vinkor was top notch... very impressive. Having said that, I would like to add that the candles are beautiful, realistic and give off great light. Easy to use and set to different times around your home. I will definitely be purchasing more of these candles from Vinkor. This set included the slimmer candles which fit in perfectly for what I needed them for and now having received the regular sized pillar candle, I will be purchasing those as well. Would definitely recommend these candles from Vinkor, not only because of the great customer service, but also for the quality, looks and great price.

I am happy with it.

My wife , in a nursing home for the duration , loves watching the candle flicker -- as does her 99 year old room mate. The remote control on/off is a great feature as she cannot get up unassisted to turn it off. If it makes her happy and have a more enjoyable life , I am happy with it.

Most realistic I've Seen

Beautiful and so realistic! I put the "candle" on a nice candle stand I had and you would never know unless you walked up close and looked that it wasn't real. Plus the convenience of the remote! I am going to buy one for my mother-in-law because she loves candles but fears fire. This will work great for her. All the ambiance and none of the worry. That's a lot of satisfaction for the price.

Nice quality great value

I had recently bought two small electric candles at Cost Plus for about $9 each and really love them so I wanted to get some more so course I checked Amazon first and found this 9 pack of candles for $20... I was skeptical of the quality and I also was concerned that they would be flickering instead of a stationary light like the ones I got it cost plus but I was really surprised that they have settings to make them flicker or just be a light they also have a dimmer switch timer switch and remote control actually two of them so I gave a couple to my son and one of the remote so he can control them in his room and I have another remote for the ones in my room pretty handy I'm really happy with this purchase

Really lovely buy

These candles are wonderful. I wish they had more girth, but they are plenty long enough. The candles themselves do not come with batteries, but the remote does. You'll need 18 AA's (you're welcome), but the batteries will last a good length of time. You set them for x-number of hours when you turn them on, then leave them on and they will come on at the same time every night until you reset the time. They are dimmable and you can set them to flicker or not. These are way better quality than some similar ones I was gifted. Anyway, really lovely buy and I'll be back for more, especially if any thicker ones are available.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

This is update from previous review, I have to say the customer service from Vinkor was fantastic, I ordered this candle and when I received it would not work properly and sent it back and posted my problem as I have several other of these from other manufacturers on never a problem the next day I received a email asking if they could replace the problem candle and two days later I received a new candle now that is EXCELLENT customer service (something that is rare today) I would definitely recommend Vinkor.

Perfect, safe, scent-free ambiance

These come individually wrapped so the candle-wax surface of the product is safe/unscratched. Each one takes two double-A batteries. This set has two remote controls, but it seems that both control any and all candles you point toward. I tried out the candle vs light settings; dimming and brightening settings; and the two-hour setting. Great! These are wonderful and set up a nice ambiance in my guest room/library without fear of burning the place down. There's no scent to mess with my migraines or hurt my birds' sensitive air sacs... These are perfect. Perfect.

Great deal on "Can't believe they're not real candles"

My wife is a Christmas decorating nut - there's just no such thing as too many Nativity scenes or over-doing the lights.Seriously, it takes about ten minutes each night to turn off all the decorations before hitting the sack. Among our lighting throughout the year are battery operated candles. We have several that run for five hours then turn themselves off. But they seem to burn through batteries quickly. We saw some flickering candles in a Christmas shop and loved them, but OMG - they were really expensive, like $25 a piece. After hunting around on Amazon for something similar, these sounded like a good deal. They, in fact, are a great deal. For about $40, we got nine candles plus two remotes. They seem to run a long time on batteries and people standing practically on top of them think that they are real.

Great candles!

We bought a house with tons of windows in the entryway. We wanted Christmas candles in each window. These candles really light up the season. I love the remote controls and the “candle” function. They really flicker and seem like real candles.
