i have been using induction for 5 years i have had 3 range complete induction stoves and 1 other cook top its a single 1 i still have this K&H Domino is impressive its easy to use its the easiest i have owned so far its an attractive stove and for the price its the cheapest by far that i owned it was my husband that purchased it for me so far i'm enjoying i will update on another occasion if i'm able

Wonderful cooktop AND customer service

***Update*** I am putting this at top and leaving the rest of my review intact as I think that will provide a more accurate product review. I loved this item since I put it in. I had a problem when a chopping board fell on the corner and somehow cracked the entire top. I contacted customer support because this would definitely fall into a grey area regarding warranty, but I thought I would ask anyway. They were VERY helpful and even agreed to replace the top of the unit. I returned it to them and they replaced it very quickly and I had it back within 1 week!!! I was worried about the strength of the cooktop surface when this happened, but I feel at this time that it must have been one of those flukes that sometimes happen because if the company was selling something that could break that easily, I don't think they would have help with replacing the top so quickly. I have had no further issues with it. At this point, I love the cooktop and have even tested customer service for you! I would give a confident referral that this cooktop and company are worth investing in!!! This has been a very good cook top. LOVE that it doesn't get hot itself, just heat from the pan after cooking on it. It is also SUPER easy to clean and looks very nice installed! I am concerned about the durability of the cook top as I just dropped a small chopping board on the corner and the corner shattered but a crack also went all the way through the entire top. I am working with customer service now, so my review will let you know how that part goes.

Excellent product. High end look and quality at a bargain price.

I rarely leave reviews but have to for this product. I purchased the induction and the conventional ceramic cooktops from D&H. While at first I was suspicious due to low price, I am stunned with the look and quality and the customer support (we had a small issue with the first cooktop not knowing how to properly connect it - whoever is leaving poor reviews that it doesn't heat up fast doesn't know how to connect it properly - contact the seller and he'll provide easy excellent detailed instructions). My family lives in Europe and has Bosch for all appliances. This absolutely matches the look and feel and quality. I'm a super happy customer and love both of my cooktops. After doing three months of research for a high end kitchen remodel - this hands down is the top winner. Buy it, don't think twice about it.

I was happy to find this alternative

My countertop was custom built to accommodate a $500 Schott/Summit cooktop. I burned through two of them. Working with their repair department was a nightmare and I gave up, living with a hot plate for six months. I was happy to find this alternative. I don't know if it's intentional, but the dimensions are identical to the Schott unit, so it fit the gaping hole in my countertop at 1/3 the price. I did have a problem with the first unit I got, but they happily accepted the return, paid the return postage and the new unit is working perfectly. If you are looking to replace the way more expensive Schott unit, this is a great alternative

So far so good. Few weeks in

So far so good. Few weeks in. Comes with feet to put on countertop. Need to cut granite to fit. Cast iron pans work the best. Very quick to heat up. Go slow tho as pans can warp. This has lots of power and quick to adjust with touch buttons. For the size I have to straddle both burners with 14" castiron or big kettle. Then it has serious power. Fan is a bit noisy but this is a trade off. Counter should muffle this a bit later. Thanks for making a good product affordable. 240 single phase needed. Double tap a set number to get that number plus a half a number more.

Very satisfied for the price...

We have had ours installed for almost 2 years now and it gets used extensively almost every day of the week. So far, this model has proven to be of excellent quality and performance for the price. Wow... and such a good price for what you are getting---less than half the price of our previous model from a different manufacturer that died---we had to replace that one within a couple of years of use---and it provided very poor control and performance. This K&H Domino 2-burner model is reliable, with excellent control, and it's a perfect fit! Highly recommended.

Great stovetop.

This stovetop is amazing. Installation was easy as is operation. The quality is very good and considering the price, this is an amazing value. I took out a standard stovetop with coil burners and upgraded with this one for the contemporary look as well as the functionability. The convection aspect is really impressive. Water comes to a boil in about half the time of a regular burner. I would highly recommend this to anyone needing a 2 burner cooktop.

Front burner stopped working after 2 weeks. The seller made things right again!

Had to spend 400 dollars to get this installed. The electrician said there was information missing in installation guide (amps I think). Then the front burner stopped working in 2 weeks. Back burner still works, but randomly turns itself off. I was prett upset, but the gentleman from kitchen and bath called me and was very nice. He made everything right. You seldom see this kind of effort these days. I will buy from them again. Yay!

Great cooktop for vacation property - second review

First time with an induction cooktop - it is fast! Takes up very little space on the countertop and looks nice and sleek. Back with a second review: we have had this now for more than half a year in the hotel suite and it is a great cooktop. I highly recommend it. You can't get better for the price and for how safe and easy it is to cook on it. I have had only compliments from guests and never a complaint. I purchased a good inexpensive set of pots and pans from IKEA, and they all work great. I like that the cooktop won't start without a pan on, and that it's cool at touch. I think this is one of the rare induction cooktops that has the "vertical" design, so you save so much space on the countertop. I am posting some more pictures to show how nice it looks. Very happy with the purchase.

Works Great!!

Love this unit...and great service. First unit was DOA, but we did not heeok it up for several months. Company sent out a new one no questions asked...and accepted the dead unit. The replacement works fantastic. High power...is much more powerful and CONSISTENT than any pair of single 1500/1800W 120V units - we have tried several - Duxtop, NuWave PIC, and another random unit (don't know why people love the NuWave...it is really terrible and shuts off randomly)... We have demo'd Bosch, Viking,...etc and several other burners...some sort of combination K&H unit will make it into our perm kitchen (right now we are using this during our whole house reno...) Unit requires 240V / 20A breaker with #12 wiring or better. The questions and reviews stating a 30A breaker is acceptable are WRONG. This unit is designed to operate on a 2-pole 20A breaker. If you already have a 30A/240V circuit and want to use this appliance on that circuit, you need to REPLACE the 30A 2-pole breaker with a 20A 2-pole breaker. It is acceptable to reduce the breaker size, not increase. If you're concerned about safety, a 2-pole 20A GFCI breaker can be installed to power the cooktop (this is especially important if you're using a plug & receptacle arrangement on TOP of the counter). If you really want to prevent a dangerous condition with a toddler, a 2-pole 20A switch can be used to turn off the unit between uses - Leviton makes a 2-pole PILOT toggle switch (light on) - 3032-PLC or 3032-PLR
