I tried the turtle beach wireless, Logitech, steelseries, these have been by far the best. Very comfortable. These headphones get hot over time if your playing for many hours consistently which can happen to any headphones. Sound quality is amazing for both pc and PS4, it really makes the sound pop out. I can hear foot steps clearly and it helps for shooter games. The noise cancellation is almost too good because at times my team mates have a hard time hearing if the mic isn’t too close. My team mates can’t hear any mouse/ keyboard clicking or even some music being played in the back ground. This is everything I need in a head phone, I only wish these could be wireless but they do have a long enough cord that extends so It doesn’t really bother me.

UPDATE: Still going strong after 2 months with no problems. Use your spatial sound settings cautiously can get extremely loud. Bass tickles your ears, playing KoTH in Arma 3 without the ear plugs in you feel the explosions on your ears, it's epic as hell. The microphone is excellent, I play on an RP server and have zero issues communicating why I murdered 3 civilians and have cocaine on me, :D. Cons: The only con I found with this headset is the sound dongle clip is garbage, (I foresee it breaking soon, and I'll use my warranty) the two volume/mic wheels have no resistance, I prefer to have a wheel that you can notch up one ring at a time and find your comfort zone. So if you move your body (where I keep it) and your leg turns up the volume, RIP you're looking down to turn up or down the volume, you end up losing LOS on your target. Annoying as crap, will sell these once a new sound dongle comes out with these options. Dude... Blows my HyperX Cloud headset out the water. Bass is hits, it excels at explosions and gunfights in video games, music is meh (if you know settings and stuff it can be good) but I like it, audio is crisp and those footsteps tho. Comfy headset because we all love the memory foam, the microphone is on par with all others. Pro Tips: Check for used products on this headset, I ordered these for $122 w/ Free Shipping. Came in the box, plastics and manuals all still sealed and fresh. The Box was mangled AF, but the product was pristine. Just saying, save yourself $25 and get the 1 day shipping or just patiently wait. O/o Do you have feedback, your voice and background noise coming from the dongle being plugged in? Easy, hold the EQ Button on the side for 5 secs. Should fix it, if I had read this review would have saved me 4 hours of frustration. I hope I help at least 1 person. Their mic derps out or something, and needs a kick in the dongles to get it back on track. Happy Gaming my friends.

This headset is amazing, the sound produced is excellent and the microphone is very clear in game. The 7.1 surround is actually very spacious and provides distinct spaces from where the sound emanates - it gives you a sense of where you are in comparison to the sound origin. I like the benefit of having a removable mic and a standard 3.5mm plug that allows me to plug the headset into my other devices to listen to music; it provides a dual purpose headset. The one thing that new for me was getting used to the suspension style headband - sometimes it feels like the headset is drooping, when it actually isn't. In addition, the ear muffs can get warm. Other than that, the headset is well constructed and works like a charm.

I have a big head, big ears, and I wear glasses so naturally I was worried about the comfort of these. These turned out to be super comfortable despite those reasons that usually make headphones uncomfortable to me. The sound is excellent, I mostly use these for single player gaming on my PS4 and they serve that purpose wonderfully. I highly recommend these. My only complaint is that there is a volume control dial on the plug which is easily bumped and can blast the headphones incredibly loud, but that usually only happens when I’m moving the cord around while not playing, so I just got in the habit of checking the volume dial each time I put the headphones on.

Far and away the best headset I have ever used. The packaging came secure and sleek, but the real prize was what was inside. The Revolver S is very lightweight, feeling great on my head. The ear pads are extremely comfortable, soft enough to feel no discomfort even during long sessions. The detachable mic piece is great for storing and travel, as opposed to a swivel piece, which is what broke on my last headset. The standard cord is great for console gaming, and I am not swimming in length, but the attachable extension that comes with is allows me to comfortably sit away from my pc and still use the headset with no problems whatsoever. There is also an attached control system that allows for easy adjustments to volume and quick muting of the mic. The sound quality is also excellent, delivering the right amount of bass without taking away form the in game sounds, to give a great sound and precise location when I am trying to identify enemies such as Rainbow 6 Siege or PUBG. I will not be buying any other brands, but the sturdy design and excellent quality means I likely will not have to buy another one for a long time anyway. I have told everyone I know that games to get this headset, whether they need one or not

I been a sony headset fan for a long time. Starting with the pulse to pulse elite on to the platinum. I decided to venture to another product and see what I would get with a few extra dollars more. I purchase the Hyper X cloud flight and they are great! The sound was amazing. Very comfortable,Very clear, and balanced. Even the bass was set right and punchy. The headset can definitely handle it and the mic works pretty good. Being that they are wireless made it even better! They're very easy to set up. Plug in and play. Though the headsets already come pre set with the eq and there isn't a way to customize them yourself. They're made so that they are strictly wireless. The mic will be disabled if you try to plug in an audio cable so you can only listen which is a bummer. I only wish the volume would be just a little higher. It's not so low that you cant hear. Its just a minor detail I would prefer. Now that I became a Hyper X fan I decide to get something wired as well. I went with the Hyper X Cloud Revolver S. Again GREAT sound and balanced throughout. The Revolver S comes with a dongle/sound card which was a cool feature. The headset are very comfortable and well built. I couldn't help and but wonder how these bad boys would sound with a mixamp. I went ahead and purchased the astro tr mixamp and I gotta say. It just took these revolver s to a higher level in sound. Now that I can customize the highs, mids, and lows it worked out just fine for me. Even though the dongle/sound card that came with them was ok, it was really holding back the full potential of what they can really do. I suggest if you get the revolver S spend that extra $100 for a more premium sound. It was $107 at the time. The price might of went up.

I did some pretty extensive research before settling on these. It was between this or one of the similarly priced Sennheisers, which are known for their outstanding microphones and sound quality so I was torn with getting something by HyperX. Also, I wanted something with a USB connection. I was immediately impressed with the mic of the cloud revolver S, I did some playback tests and the quality is perfect, it cancels out the noise of my keyboard more than I expected as well. While I'm not exactly a perfectionist audiophile just yet, I certainly do my best to get the most out of my system and care very much about my sound quality. I have a nice 5.1 surround sound system for my PC that I use for solo gaming and music playback. I tossed this headset on with some music to test it, when I turned on the surround sound feature I literally had to take them off to make sure that the music was only coming out of the headset, that's how impressive the open sound stage of this headset is. The audio quality is great, decent bass that's not overpowering and the controls on the USB sound card are nice. The cable length is quite long and perfect for my setup. The audio is better on the lower end versus my Grado SR80s and just about the same mids and highs, I love those Grados but I've got to admit that ill probably use these first now despite my preference for open backed cans. These are by far the most comfortable headphones that I have ever put on. I really wanted a headset that has the cutout in the ear-cups for eyeglasses but these are so plush and comfortable it doesn't matter that they don't have one. I've read quite a few reviews that claim that turning on surround sound diminishes some audio quality, I have not personally noticed this. Surround sound does really widen the sound stage but I feel as though every bit of the sound is still there. It is, however, quite possible that I have some hearing damage from 10 years of ambulance calls with the windows down and the siren on. If you're like me, a discerning audio and gaming enthusiast, and are torn between these and similarly priced headsets I will say that these are a safe bet. The mic is great, the audio quality is great, the build quality is great and they are super comfortable. The plug and play surround sound is what ultimately sold me on these vs the Sennheisers, Id rather not use razer synapse or some other third party program for the 7.1. My last headset, a wireless Turtle Beach 420x Stealth had built in mic monitoring, I LOVED this feature, my only jam is that im used to hearing my voice as I talk so im probably yelling into this new mic.

My search for the ultimate gaming headset/headphones had been one of the most grueling, extensive and expensive endeavors I've ever put myself through so far for my just over 40 plus years in this lifetime and to say it's an easy task is not the case by a long shot! The list of headsets and headphones I currently own are the new Logitech G533, Razer Man O War Wireless 7.1, Lucidsound LS30 which I use with Razer Surround Pro, HyperX Cloud II, Turtle Beach Stealth 450, Steelseries Siberia 350, Sennheiser HD598cs and the cream of my crop Beyerdynamic DT 1770 which use the Tesla technology and are a phenomenal headphone to use for gaming but only with an amplifier which I'm currently using the Creative Soundblaster X7 Limited Edition which I'm not too sure if I'm going to upgrade the amp to something else yet or not and the jury is still out on that but anyways... I had pretty low expectations for the the HyperX Cloud Revolver S as I've gone through at minimum over 25 other Gaming Headsets and traditional Headphones over the last six months and I've been left very discouraged about ever finding a great "Gaming Headset" but I just have eaten my words as the Revolver S does put Dolby Headphone to good use and does indeed have the large Soundstage that gamers desire First Person Shooters and like myself a Racing and Driving Simulators which I'd say my ratio is 75% Driving Sim/20% FPS/5% Action/Adventure. They are very comfortable which at first feel really loose on the head but this is where they actually do very well once you get used to not having the clamping of the typical headsets out there. They are very light and only get slightly warm even after several hours of continuous use. The only thing I could say that is a drawback is they don't get very loud but they suffice perfectly fine in my opinion. I would call this headset a definite buy through my seemingly endless search for the ultimate headset and I've attached some pictures for your viewing pleasure. Thanks for reading and any questions please don't hesitate to ask and I'll try to respond as quickly as possible.

I bought for teenage gaming, music, and YouTube aficionado. He did his research and found these to have excellent ratings for all of the uses that interest him. The first headset arrived and had an awful oniony smell. We thought it was off-gassing from the well-designed foam packaging. The headset is expensive and the manufacturer treats this quality product as an expensive, technical instrument. My son tried to use for a few days but the smell was terrible and made his whole room smell like rotted onions. He did more research and found that some folks had received defective headsets with bad smell and they were able to exchange for good ones. We contacted Amazon and exchanged with no issue and VOILA!! Excellent non-smelly headset arrived. It is so comfortable and has such great quality sound (and noise cancelling) that he wears pretty much from morning until night except to school. The microphone provides clear voice transmission without a lot of echo for gaming. He prefers to watch movies on his phone with headset on as the sound is so much better than from TV. He listens to audiobooks for his classes and pleasure as well as reading the books. Due to the excellent noise cancelling feature, he can focus better. The cord is heavy duty, well-made and resists kinks due to the design and weaved texture and is definitely long enough. He does spend time with family and still has headset on but takes one ear out of the large leatherette-covered foam ear speakers to be able to participate or wears them around his neck as headset is just so comfortable. The top has an adjustable part to fit head better and ear speakers comfortably fit over ears without turning ear red. Yes--the signature headset hair is inevitable--he doesn't care because he loves them so much! This headset is definitely worth the money! We did buy the extended warranty but with such good quality hope we don't need to use.

I don't understand the bad reviews. The sound quality is almost as good as my $300 Bose noise canceling headset. These are very comfortable. The microphone is excellent. My only complaint would be that after my 2 year old grabs and thrashes them around, I have to seat the microphone plug back into the socket because he loosens it. These don't claim to have true surround sound, but not many headphones do. They work great. I feel like they're very high quality and I'm also a pilot that relies on very expensive headsets for flying. I play online games with guys that have wireless headphones and they're also losing connections and having battery and charging issues. These just work. I haven't had any issues so I can't speak to their customer service, but I would guess that it's good.
