Great product. Finally got my surge protector back from being filled with phone chargers. Fast charger has worked flawlessly for 3 phones. The bonus that you can plug it in to your computer or laptop and manage all of your pictures and video, etc from a single device was a bonus. I will be purchasing 2 more for myself and a couple as gifts. I have heard other reviews mention the illumination, and yes, it is bright in a dark room at first, but you forget all about it after a day or two.

I have only had it installed for a week, and it meets my expectations. I have upgraded to USB3 where I can, and GBit lan where possible, with the growing size of everything I have been pleased. Durable construction, true USB3 connection. Charging ports are always nice. Comes with some rubber feet. Needs some type of hanger tabs so that you can screw it to the side of back of a desk.

Finally, a decent hub!

This unit replaced an ugly, sprawling USB hub. It works great with my iMac and Magic Mouse 2, and a Logitech wireless keyboard (keyboard dongle plugged into one of the USB3 ports). No interference issues after two weeks of use. I can recharge my iphone, even when my computer is asleep by using one of the smart charging ports, and the hub stays in place on my desk, thanks to rubber bumper feet.

Great little hub

I love this. It's surprisingly small (a bit shorter than a current model iPhone), but looks nice, and works perfectly. Because it's small, I used a little museum putty to stick it down to my desk, as it had a tendency to slide around. In the picture, you'll see, the blue sockets are USB connected, so you can sync your devices, or whatever, the orange sockets provide a surprisingly fast charge for my phone, bike lights, and a bunch more. I love this little hub, and hope it lasts for many years.

Perfect size for all my needs

Perfect size for all my needs! I purchased bigger size hub from same seller for my boyfriend and he loved it. This one fits perfectly for all my needs. It's enough to charge my phone, IPad, camera, fitbit, and JBL at the same time when needed! Absolutely love this thing!

So far a good powered hub-port...

Not a bad powered hub-port, it sits firmly & discreetly next to my Mac mini awaiting accessible use. Only thing I could gripe ever-so-slightly about, is the lack of a on/off or dim switch for the blue/amber internal usb lights. Hopefully this one will serve a long run. Many thanks to a quick ship from the seller too!

Will stop working as soon as the 30 day window has passed.

Well, it is now just over the 30-day return limit and my USB hub is not functioning. Now the lights on it flicker intermittently and all devices plugged into stop working. I do not recommend this device: UPDATE: Just after the return period ended (30 days) the USB hub's power started fickering. It would cause my devices that were plugged into it to disconnect and reconnect constantly. I emailed the seller. Literally, the next morning I had an email with their apologies and another USB hub was sent. Hey, things break, but I am happy to have bought from a seller that focuses on customer satisfaction.

So far so good!

I've had this device about two weeks now. It sits quietly on the top of my desk, shines pretty lights and powers my webcam and charges my cell phone. Generic description aside, this thing is solid. There's enough weight to keep it sitting on the top of my desk without fear of it being pulled off by the weight of cables. This may seem a bit pricey to some but to me, it's worth the extra money for the convenience. Excellent device.

GREAT LITTLE DEVICE

I Love this USB hub 3.0. I have used it for a little over a month and it is different than other 3.0 hubs that I have used in the past. It is smaller and heavier than I expected. It feels like the power is stronger than the other 3.0 hubs I was using. It is not backwards compatible according to several of my older portable drives and my printer that were attached to another older 3.0 hub. I have 4 devices connected to the hub and use these devices simultaneously and I have been surprised at the speed and I have not felt a slow down or delay that I had with a previous hub. I needed a long cord and I love the bright lights. I really did not understand what the charging ports were for until my cell phone died and I needed it now. It charged my cell phone fast. I am looking forward to this hub lasting a little while.

I like the charging ports and the hub functionality

So far this device is performing as expected. I have not performed any transfer timing nor am I likely to bother. I like the charging ports and the hub functionality and that's exactly why I got it. New data as of 8/18/2017 I have been so happy with this device that I just received my second one. It's for my laptop so I can travel with multiple monitors using USB video adapters.
