OXO makes such great items at affordable prices. This feels "heavy duty" and capable of cutting up any pizzas you may make at home on a date night or for the kids. Doesn't at all feel like some of the "cheaper" ones you may pick up in the utensil aisle at your local grocery store. Made to last for sure.

Great pizza cutter!

This is one solid pizza cutter. Sure it costs substantially more than other pizza cutters but it's built well. The handle is very comfortable (not that the comfort of the handle should matter much, I mean it takes you 20 seconds tops to cut a pizza? It's not like it's a pair of shoes). The cutter feels very heavy in the hand, lending to it's quality construction. Never have I paid this much for a pizza cutter and the additional cost I hope is insurance that I'll never have to buy another one anytime soon. This is a huge step up over the $2 pizza cutters that most people have with the flimsy roller that teeters back and forth. Do yourself a favor and buy one of these...or don't. It's not like Oxo is giving me any money to say nice things about their product.

Does the job. don't cut on the metal tray and it will last. Durable easy to use and fairly easy to clean. deep pizzas throw a little more sauce around. Don't let it dry and it will come off easy

Sturdy, stylish and effective!

Not only is this beautiful, it is far better than any pizza cutter I've ever used before. Leave it to OXO to make a perfected product, and the trademark OXO grip on the handle makes it safer to use. It's well constructed and I've had no issues with the wheel wobbling like I've had with other brands with cheap construction and weak rivots. It slices through crispy crusts and thicker dough with ease. I'm sure it will come in handy when I cut homemade noodles or store bought puff pastry sheets too. I'm very pleased with this product and have been using it for months. I wash it by hand and dry it immediately, and store it in my utensil drawer.

Makes a fabulously clean cut!

Bigger than I thought it would be, and very sharp, but my fingers were shielded from the blade and the pizza was cut through with an almost surgical cut on the first push! WOW! We make homemade pizzas here several times a week and this is a great cutter!! Just don't let the kids get ahold of it! Not a toy. But if you want a cleaner than clean pizza slice, this is for you.

Serious, Big Pizza Cutter

This cutter is bigger, heavier, and sharper than most pizza cutters folks have in their kitchen drawer. Unlike the grocery store junk I was replacing with this, it cuts a pizza very well with much less effort. It feel heavy and well made in your hand. The bearing moves freely and smoothly. That said, there is a possible downside. Compared to that grocery store version, it is much BIGGER. It says 4" in the description - that's the size of the wheel. If you eyeball the wheel and add the handle you can see this is not small device. If you draw a bounding rectangle it's approximately 9 1/4 x 4 5/8 inches so you'll need a compartment a bit bigger than that. If you want a quality pizza cutter, you found it, but be sure you've a place to store it!

Best Pizza Wheel

Not having too much experience with cooking utensils being 21 and living on my own for the 3 years, I can tell this is top notch for anyone. I had to purchase a new pizza wheel because the random pizza wheel I bought from walmart broke. After scouring through the depths of Amazon and reading countless reviews I opted for this. My first impressions was it was very well built. You can feel it being very sturdy just by gripping it. It is made of great materials and it slices through pizza with ease. I've even cut pie with this and it worked great. The 4 inch wheel really helps to get down and deep for those deep dish pizzas or pies. I would definitely recommend this pizza wheel for anyone looking for one! Or if you're not looking, you should upgrade!

The last Pizza Cutter that you will ever have to buy. Yeah, it's that good.

So it's been nearly a year since I purchased this pizza cutter, which translates to at least 50 uses for our Saturday Pizza nights (because that is how we roll here). If one word could sum up this review, it would be "Extraordinary". No matter the crust; Thin, Deep Dish and/or Pan, this pizza cutter will slice through them all with minimum effort. Solid Steel construction means it's heavy but that rubber grip holds firm. If storage space is limited the 4 inch size of the wheel might be it's only flaw. If you are the proud owner of a man cave and have a pizza oven within it, then this pizza cutter doesn't belong in a drawer. It should be hanging on your wall (notice the hole in the bottom of the handle). The wheel blade is fairly sharp (even after so many uses) so be careful. It cleans up easily and the stainless steel nearly glistens when it's dry. By far and away, my favorite purchase here with Amazon. I hope that it's yours too.

Quality product. Easy to use and clean! Keep the packaging cover to use as a protectant for the blade!

This pizza cutter is perfect for thick pizza as well as thin pizza. It is well made and easy to clean. The thick handle makes using the cutter comfortable. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the cover the cutter came in can be used for storing the pizza cutter. The cover is a protector of the blade. I kind of ripped off the packaging and had to tape it all back together to use the cover as a protector. So keep that in mind if you choose to buy this pizza cutter!.

Just what I needed

I bought this to replace an OXO pizza wheel that spontaneously broke—the wheel just fell off mid-slice. Needless to say I was hesitant to buy another OXO product, but Cook's Illustrated said this was the best and I generally trust their reviews. I just received this one and it feels much more solid and durable than my previous model. Nice weight, sharp, rolls smoothly.
