Update. This isn’t a great device because it does a lot of things but none of them very well. Increasingly frustrated. It has two separate ink / toner cartridges which have both flashed replace messages and once replaced still flash change and now print blotchy sheets. NO BUENO. If you don’t have a desktop pc connected then scanning a doc is a pain too because the PDF scan needs a connected / pc “home” to store the scan doc. Downgrading from initial high five star impression. You’re better off single function best in class printer but not combo. Also the wireless has tendency to have its own mind... essentially never stays connected. Great value. I had incredibly easy wiresless set up on Verizon router and sending print jobs from iPhone.

no more color ink cartridges just to be able to print black and white. I specifically paid a lot more than I could have for an inkjet printer just to get away from having to have three working color cartridges just to be able to print documents in black and white... seems the printer companies make all their money on cartridge replacements, so they make it really uneconomical to print in black and white only. Printer is smallish, nice looking, and prints. Didn't come with actual instructions about how to make a copy. On the front panel there is a symbol with a piece of paper, which I pushed, and it started making a copy, I thought. Actually it was scanning, but not printin anything out, even thought the instructions on the screen were about copying. Not until I called HP corporate customer support did I realize the two paper green ink button is the copy button. I learned a new thing also... almost impossible to find the HP customer support phone number when googling. Lots of companies want to charge you to troubleshoot your HP Printer, which is the numbers that come up on a google search The guy at HP told me HP is trying to save money/paper so they don't include an owner's manual with the printer... you have to go online to search for it. Here is the actual HP corporate toll free service number: (800) 474-6836 I also have an HP OfficeJet Pro 6978, which has a feeder and duplex color, but uses ink cartridges, which ends up costing about 5 cents per page printed, on average. This laser printer costs less than half that amount in ink (toner). Great option for lots and lots of black and white printing.

The step by step setup instructions were easy to follow. I was pleased with the ease of switching from wired connection to wireless with my computer. Feels strange to have only one wire leading to the printer. But it is working very well. I had to download the manual, though, as the instructions that came with it, did not explain the controls or how to use them. I was hoping for a shortened version for this specific model. By the way, the downloaded manual is 200 PAGES, so you have to hunt down the pages needed fully understand how to operate it. It does take up a bigger foot print than my previous printer, so less desk space for my work

this printer/scanner/copier has a tiny footprint compared to my brother compact printer. the app for android makes it easy for me to scan/print any documents i may have in my cloud. i've also found that the copy quality is great for classroom print outs.

I just needed a reliable B&W printer, mainly for shipping labels as I sell on eBay. This is the printer of my wildest dreams. It took me awhile to set up on my ancient Windows Vista desktop computer. But, I got it printing via computer and WiFi. I love this printer!

fast. solid. good price. Those that complain about having to purchase the drum, didn't read the directions very well. The drum only needs to be replaced after thousands of printed pages. I have spent so much money on ink jet printers and ink that buying a drum after thousands of printed pages is just a drop in the bucket.

Not a huge printer fan! I tend to get easily irritated by printers. But this one was easy to set up, got her to print from my phone on the second intent. I was concerned about this option, because I read many reviews for other brands and this was one of main complaints. It can also be connected using a USB cable included. Also liked this printer because toners are not pricey. You can scan, one by one, doesn't have a feeder. Serves my purpose, if you scan large documents; this might not be the right one for you. I totally recommend it! Will update this review in a couple of months. Update 08/08/17: so far, so good!

There's nothing I don't like about this printer/scanner. It's compact...I keep it in my closet. I was very overwhelmed by the choices in printers. I wanted something economical, compact and dependable. My favorite part is that I don't have to constantly change ink as I did with my previous Brother color printer. We use this for home use so no heavy duty printing but I'm seriously thinking of this printer for my small business needs as well. I've had this for several months now and would highly recommend this

for a low priced wireless laser printer this is excellent. My wife and kids are very happy that they can now print from their iPhones and laptops without having to "plug in" to the printer on the main computer. Be careful when setting up the Firewall option since this does seem to block WiFi printing without having to set up rules. If your home network is already secured this should not be a problem since it uses your existing network.

I was motivated to write by the people who wrote that it was hard to enable wireless printing or printing from a mobile device. It's not. It took me less than 10 minutes to connect this printer to my WiFi network and to print from my Mac laptop and tablet, phone, etc. Could not have been simpler.
