Does ok, but be prepared to secure the lid somehow.

I attached velcro to the top so the lid would stay in place. It holds plenty of rolls, especially the long ones. Once I attached the velcro, the lid stayed in place just fine.

This wrapping paper storage container was better than I thought it would be, it fits so nicely in my closet and it holds so many rolls of paper. I can fit 2 rolls per section, Wonderful product.
