Well made and works as described.

The lock is very solid and well made, the handles are strong and attach securely to the lock mechanism. I installed it on a metal door, replacing the existing passage locking handle, with no issues. The standard lockset was an exact fit. The touchpad is illuminated in blue and easy to read, it turns red if there is an entry error. The key pad works great, the finger print reader works well for 2 of the three people in my household. For some reason it does not read one persons fingerprint, though they have also had similar issues with the fingerprint access to their phone, so it may not be this lock. My only minor criticism is that the English installation and use instructions are very poorly written, it was easier to just figure it out than trying to follow the instructions.

Schlage lock, commercial quality, works with little kids.

This is 2018 and we have keyless entry for cars, access badges for doors at work, so why are we still using keys for our house door? If you’re like me, you researched these things until you made yourself half crazy and lost track of which one does what for what price. You can stop now and buy this one. Aside from some kinda terribly written instructions that fail to mention the need to drill a hole in your door for the 3rd mounting bolt behind the battery tray, and the need to file off a little bit of a non essential part of my key to secure the outside handle in place (pic included) installation wasn’t bad. I gave this to a professional locksmith to change the core to match our existing house key and his exact words were “excellent choice, looks like you did your homework”. We have 3 small kids ranging from 5-10 years old so I was skeptical about the scanner’s ability to read those cute little fingerprints and in fact had to switch to thumbs for more surface area on the younger ones but it works and they love it. This handle also auto locks which is great for little ones who sometimes forget to lock the door when they’re the last ones out to the car. This was a great purchase for a very good price and I’ll likely be buying another one.

Exceptional Customer Support Team!

I purchased this digital lock for my door only to find out that it wasn't compatible with my metal frame door. I only recently found out since my home was flooded and I could not attempt the install for at least 90 days since I had to move out of my home. As a result, this caused me to go past the 30-day refund period. I explained my situation to the Ardwolf Support Team and they were very understanding of my situation and agreed to grant me a full refund. I would have loved to use their product but unfortunately my metal frame door was already pre-cut so the latch on the door did not fit their lock's inserts. All I can say is that this team is excellent in with helping their customers and I will definitely plan to buy from them in the future!

easy to use

I really like this lock, seems durable, and easy to use and program. the one thing my wife doesn't like is...when the door is closed and you're on the inside, you cant confirm the door is actually locked. there's no toggle button on the inner door. she hates that. I had a problem when adjusting the inner door handle from left to right. The screw wouldn't align properly and stripped, and the inner handle is wobbley other than that I like the feature and ease of use,...and have had NO issues with reading fingerprints to get into the menu push the # sign twice....the directions are not clear on that at all!!!!!!!

This is a great product. I have used it for months now and couldn't be happier. The options for unlocking worked out great for me, the record keeping is a plus. I highly recommend this lock!

Works well. Looks and feels great.

I had a lot of doubts on whether fingerprint recognition will work. It does and well. The code pad it totally black when not in use. Most people won’t even guess there is a code pad and won’t be tempted to play with it. The lock feels and looks great. So far, the lock has exceeded my expectations in every way. Getting another one soon. Thank you!

Works good

I'm surprised how accurate/fast the fingerprint reader is. It is easy to program and use also. Installation went pretty easy but you really have to read the instructions a few times. It's not intuitive and if you miss a step you'll be scratching your head for a while. The instructions seem to be a translation that for the most part is spot on, but a few words here and there give it away. I would have written it a little different, but it's all there. Just read it. I like that you are not required to drill a second small hole to mount, like all the others. If it starts getting loose I probably will though. The build quality seems very good. It feels/looks tough, but is elegant enough not to be ashamed of. It came with all the hardware needed to mount also. I highly recommend this lock.

Excellent biometric door lock

I just set this lock up and must say I am impressed. The quality of the lock seems quite durable. Fingerprint recognition works good had no issues. The instruction manual could be written a bit better (maybe written by someone where English is the 1st language). It took me about an hour of studying the manual and putting it together on a table before installing in a door. Once you get it setup though the menu system on the lock is relatively easy to navigate. If your children have ever lost their house keys this biometric lock will eliminate that problem. I am hoping this lock holds up for many years to come (time will tell).

This was definitely one of the best purchases I made

I bought one of these a few months ago for my small business. Oftentimes, my coworkers and I are in the work area and have to keep the office door locked so no one goes in there. Using mechanical keys turned out to be such a hassle. This was definitely one of the best purchases I made. After using it for the last few months, I have to say.... It works flawlessly. It's quick to respond, smooth, easy to program, and so easy to set up. It also looks great! When customers notice it, they're impressed. So it makes a good impression. I can't think of anything bad to say about it. Maybe one improvement that could be made is being able to assign multiple fingerprints to each user. But, that's not a big deal. I just installed a second one a few days ago and plan on buying more in the future. You get what you pay for, and this is a quality investment for sure.

Very Reliable Fingerprint Reader, Installation was Tricky

I've owned a few of these for a few months now. They are installed on a few interior doors in our home to prevent our nieces/nephews and other guests from accessing rooms that may contain valuables and fragile items. The installation process wasn't straightforward as the instructions are not intuitive in sections. I ultimately figured out a minor obstacle and the subsequent installations were easy. It was easy to program for my wife and I. The fingerprint reader has been extremely reliable. We use it every day to access a few closets and rooms. I will probably end up buying another to protect another room.
