4.8 stats but I’m happy for the price

I liked this unit. Packaging isn’t so great One of the two arrived with a small dent but not that noticeable. The temperature will fluctuate if the ambient room temperature is not stable. Mine are currently in my garage and I live in Southern California, in the garage gets over 85° I’ve noticed the temperature in the coolers will fluctuate a few degrees But I’m very happy I will probably buy a couple more. The bottles fit nicely in the front panels very easy to use

The one to get

I had a wine fridge for years that was just okay. It was compressor based so it tended to suck out the humidity, and it eventually started freezing the wine and malfunctioning so I got rid of it. This unit, while smaller than my old one, is far superior. The thermoelectric cooling is much quieter, and doesn't seem to affect performance. I keep a temp/humidity sensor in it (one of those remote units meant to go outside and communicate wirelessly with a base unit) and I have noticed the temperature never fluctuates by more than a degree. And the temperature it maintains is in line with what I have it set to. For me, that level of temperature consistency, coupled with the lack of vibration and noise from a compressor, makes this a great purchase. The price was really reasonable too for the size and quality.

Love it!

Works great! Its way quieter than our previous one and looks beautiful. My only complaint is the lights for temp are on the outside and are a bit bright, its like a night right really. We have another where those lights are in the inside, perhaps newer versions of this could incorporate that. When it arrived it was missing a leg which left an exposed screw on the bottom. The company was VERY responsive and sent me a new leg very quickly. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and the company.

Awesome wine fridge!

This is our 1st. We did a lot of reading as well as talking with individuals about the pros & cons of single vs dual zone fridges. Most we spoke to agreed that a single zone is fine. fWe use it for both reds and whites. We keep the temp at 56, perfect for red and then when we know we'll be drinking white, we'll pull it out and just put it in the regular fridge for about 30 minutes.

Great Product + How to change the temp. settings.

High Quality, runs quietly and arrived as expected. One thing We had to learn by punching buttons was to change the temperature, hold the unlock button down while moving the temperature controls up and down. We hope this helps. Best Wishes

Beautiful Wine Fridge

My husband got my this wine fridge for Christmas. I am just amazed by how beautiful it is. We were a little hesitant to purchase this wine fridge after reading about the temperature issue, light issue and damaged packing but we have zero complaints. The item arrived very well packaged and nothing was damaged. We have zero issues with the light being to bright since the fridge is in our kitchen. The main light inside the fridge turns off after 5-10 minutes so it’s just the blue temperature light on the outside of the fridge that stays on. Temperature Works great my red wine is perfectly chilled. The only thing I’m confused about is I have the temperature set to 64 and at times I walk by and see that it is at 59 and then it eventually goes back to 64. But I have not noticed a change in the wine temperature. I would recommend this wine fridge and we are very pleased with our purchase.

Works as promised

Aside from a small delivery glitch (upside down, small dent in rear of unit), it works as promised. I've only had it two weeks, so check in with me in two years and that's a better judge of this device. Nonetheless, steady 55 degrees, quiet, looks good in my home office next to my work desk, I usually forgot that its there. I bought if after I saw two favorable reviews on Wirecutter (NY Times) and Forbes.

Quiet and efficient

This unit arrived in perfect condition. It is easy to set up. The temperature is easy to adjust. It is very quiet. Others have said that large bottles do not fit well (which, in my experience, is not unusual for a wine storage unit), but all 18 of my wine bottles fit just fine. It is tight, however, and I would agree that an oversized bottle might well create some issues. The unit is inconspicuous, very quiet, and so far, very efficient.

Value Buy = Quality + Price

Have been using this wine chiller for a week now. So far so good. Some reviews on here are about people saying it cools down so slow or so fast. If it works like mine, it works precisely as it should. Mine is indoors, not garage kept. Yes the unit cools down in a matter of minutes. Mine went from 82 to 55 in under 30 minutes, maybe closer to twenty actually. Then I placed 15 bottles in the cooler. Temp rose to 72. It took 4 hours for it to cool down to 55. This is perfectly normal if you consider the laws of thermodynamics. You’re fancy refrigerator that costs 10x this, would do the same thing. This Ivation product has held at 55 straight since it got down to temp and after a few days I didn’t notice the initial hum of the motor turning on anymore. We love it so far and would buy another. I’ll update should something happen to the unit soon.

The original wine cooler did not work. After giving a not so glowing review, I received a call from the company who offered their apologies and offered to send another one for free. Well, it arrived and is working perfectly now. Something must have been wrong with the digital read out on the original cooler, but very happy the company stands behind their product and reached out. Happy with the new cooler, and so are the wines.
