Not a Turkey!!

Got this for my grandson he used it this past weekend for Turkey hunting and found it a great help, he’s 17 and very techy, said it was an easy set up worked great and took great pictures. He was able to see where the fowl were traveling and bagged himself a beautiful bird!! So far this is a great camera for the price and I will update down the road, but for now I would recommend this to and hunter or nature enthusiast.

REVIEW UPDATE:

New 7/16/19: Great customer service!! I had originally only gave this camera 1 star because I had purchased two of them in June of 2018 and by November both cameras completely stopped working. Before they stopped the footage was sporadic, only recording maybe one time a day at best and both finally just died completely. Apeman contacted me after my review and was very apologetic, even offering to replace both cameras with their updated version free of charge. I received my new cameras Saturday and so far I really like them. I am hoping they will work out great for us. :) Old: Both of my cameras stopped working in less than a years time. One indoor, one outdoor. I tried to reset to factory settings, replaced batteries, installed new SD cards, still will not work. They will only record maybe 3 - 5 second videos or take about 3 pictures then they quit. SD cards are empty when installed and formatted using the trail cam's format feature. It is highly disappointment and frustrating. I guess you get what you pay for. Though no one should have to put up with faulty products simply because they are low in cost.

good night vision camera

i have been looking for a good trail camera for a while. came across few of them. also had a chance to test few of them , but this one here was the best. item as described , exceptional image quality, and amazing and clear night vision ,and better during the day time.long distance motion detector was efficient ,super clear sound recording . battery lasts long enough. waterproof.this device is the best for wildlife shots , its camouflage colors makes it unnoticeable. it features time stamp including Moon Phase/Pressure/Temperature, Timer(which i havent adjusted yet 😆) . overall, i am satisfied with what i’ve got. money well spent. and i highly recommend it if you’re a wildlife lover

The night vision quality is amazing!

I have had rodents in my garage and wanted to see where they were coming from and how they were getting into the garage. I was a bit skeptical because this isn’t a rechargeable camera, but rather it uses AA batteries, but since I got it a couple weeks ago, I have had to put in new batteries yet. The camera’s night vision quality is AMAZING! Before buying this, I tried using a GoPro Hero 4 (a $300 camera) and that didn’t work at all, as it was totally dark and it doesn’t have night vision capabilities. It is nice that you can watch the clips back on the camera, allowing me to see if any squirrels or chipmunks have been roaming around my garage without having to go inside my house and load the SD card into my computer. My one wish is that the camera didn’t have 3 minute time limit...I wish it could film longer, but I assume this is so people don’t shorten the battery life unintentionally. I’ll be buying a couple more of these to install outside of my garage/in my backyard!

The H45 is perfect for hunters, trappers, ghost hunters or night time wildlife watching

Since I bought 2, I am basing this review comparing the H45 to the H70. Both Trap Cams are of nice quality but if I had to chose for simplicity it would be the H45 and around 1/2 the price. I honestly couldnt get an image to come up on the H70..where as the H45 came up with ease. I used external power with both as I didnt have enough batteries to try otherwise. Both were easy to operate otherwise. I like both for different reasons. The H45 is much simpler and would suit a beginner but is only 12mp where as the H70 had the 20mp whi h could benefit a pro. The screen on both are about same size and both are clear the only difference was I couldnt get the camera to come up on the H70 so cant comment on its true picture quality.

Works well for a great price

This trail camera works very well indeed for monitoring wildlife in my back yard, and especially for animals that try to get under your house.Both the still and video pictures are very good in daylight and adequate at night using the highest quality setting for both. The motion sensor seems to trigger reliably, it even responded to a little cat 20 feet away moving very slowly across the yard. SD-card v30 and rechargeable batteries makes this camera a perfect tool.

Great pics, day and night!

Great trail can for the price, have been surprised what I have seen passing thru. Picture quality at night is pretty good, some enhancing helps. All in all for the price I'm very satisfied!

Takes nice photos and video.

Great pictures and video of animals. Even used this as a security camera for my house when I went away. Have enjoyed viewing animals in the woods behind my house.

Great for a cheap security camera

Great product, purchased to record people breaking into my shed. Picture quality was good enough to identify the people to the police and help with the arrest. Great rain and snow proofing. interface easy to use. able to hold my 64gb card and great color to remain concealed. Downside, it loves to eat batteries. Takes 8 of them, recommend investing in rechargeables.
