This was one of my Valentine's Day surprises for my wife. I got a bit scared when I received it & the box said "kids" so I quickly opened it & tried them on. They fit perfect on me so I knew they would fit my wife. She loved them, when we left the shooting range I asked her if they worked & she said absolutely!! Wish we would have had these earlier!

My son who is 5 1/2 has always had issues when we have gone to movies and he ends up on someone's lap with their hands over his ears through most of the movie. These earmuffs worked great for him when we went to see Incredibles 2 in the theater. I had him try them on a couple of times before we went and told him that he could wear them in the movie. He put them on during the previews (which were quieter) and said that he couldn't hear anything. Once the movie started he leaned over to me and said "I can hear and it isn't too loud!" He did great with these and even kept them on when he had to go to the bathroom and ended up wearing them for the entire movie. He would be one that if they weren't comfortable he would take them off and not put them back on. On the way home I asked him if he could hear everything in the movie and he told me "No". I was already thinking about having to send them back when he told me he couldn't hear "when I was eating my M&M's! I could only hear myself chewing. I could hear the rest of the time." I guess we are going to have to do quieter snacks when we go to a movie the next time. So glad I saw these and took a chance on ordering them.

Super Buy

Bought these for my 7 year old for Monster Jam. He's pretty fidgity, and I was worried he wasn't going to wear them. He wore them the entire time! He said they were comfy, and he was still able to hear us in conversation! I deffinatly recommend these!

Great for kids with noise sensitivity

My boy is very sensitive to certain noises, but with these earmuffs we can go anywhere and do pretty much anything. He used to have a hard time enjoying himself at amusement parks because most of the time he was covering his ears. With these earmuffs he can now enjoy himself. He even rode a rollercoaster wearing them :)

LIFESAVER!

These worked wonders for us at the Monster Truck show. My 2 year old is ULTRA sensitive to noises. Upon arrival he began to freak out just because of the amount of noise from the crowd. We put these on him before the show and he refused to take them off. They were THE reason we were able to have a great time at the show. We've since used them on several occasions for fireworks etc

Comfortable, works well

Bought these for my 3 year old boy before a monster truck show. He loved wearing them, after trying it without them, and now he runs around looking for them when Mommy is making supper too (lol, fire alarm joke but no seriously he does). He says they're comfortable, and he can still kind of hear me if I speak directly at him but it muffles things like jet engines and, well, fire alarms.

How To Solve Sensory Hearing Problems For Elementary Students!

I'm an elementary school teacher, and I bought two Vanderfield earmuffs for children that I serve as a special education teacher. These are excellent students, but unfortunately are adversely affected by various types and amounts of noise. These muffs are very important because both students, if affected, will quickly develop severe behavior problems. They love their earmuffs and wear them constantly. Great product

Bought for my young children (ages 2-5) for a local Monster Jam show indoors. They worked wonderful! And the kids kept them on the entire time, which if you have kids you know it can be a challenge. I also tried them on and they fit me comfortably as well. Definitely a great purchase and a great value. And they fold up nicely for storing.

Great for

We bought these for our 2-1/2 yr old and our 6 mo old. I searched through the reviews to see if anyone had used it on a younger baby and was pleased to find another family had done the same and that it worked for their 6 or 7 mo old. While it did work for our 6 mo old, she absolutely hated wearing them. I think it’s too much pressure for that age. It still may be the best solution out there, though. Considered knocking one star off because I didn’t find it to reduce the noise as much as I had hoped for. It likely is accurate to the description listing of how many decibels it reduces, but it isn’t as much as I am used to. Our toddler is very happy with these and I would purchase again. I think they are a good buy for the price-point.

Perfect for young kids

These are great. I have 2 young girls that like to help their daddy with projects around the house. These accomplish 2 things for me. 1, they are not afraid of the loud noises from saws, lawn mower and various other tools. 2, they are learning good habits in terms of wearing the proper hearing and eye protection which is something I did not do for a very long time until it caught up to me. I want my girls to be involved in our projects around the house. I want them to feel comfortable and be safe at the same time. I am a big believer that your kids should be involved in these sorts of things as much as possible. I don't want my girls to not know how to make a simple repair or, have the courage to try. There are too many young people that can't perform simple household tasks. Plenty of adults too. I highly recommend these because I highly recommend teaching your kids to use their heads and hands to figure out a problem and to be safe at the same time. These Earmuffs help with both. Quality is beyond what I expected.
