Excellent journal for my fountain pen writing style

I love this notebook. The paper quality is excellent. I write with a Fine point fountain pen and get very little bleed-through with this paper--only in places where I intentionally make certain areas extra bold. It writes very smoothly. The paper is coated enough that the ink does not bleed out but also absorbs/dries fast enough to not smear. The binding is very good, and it does fold flat for ease of writing all the way to the margin on both sides of the sheets. The pen loop is a nice feature. This makes a great personal journal. I wish they had an A4 size that I could use for work.

I LOVE this notebook!

I have been using this notebook every day for the past two months. I've filled up around sixty pages or so. I take it with me back and forth to work, so it's been subject to getting bumped around, yet shows no visible signs of wear. The elastic strap is holding up well despite being used multiple times per day. I also store a fountain pen in the pen loop which so far hasn't lost any of its elasticity. The quality of the notebook is fantastic especially given the price. The paper is excellent quality, much thicker than other brands, and has a very smooth feel allowing the pen to glide effortlessly across the page. I use a fountain pen and have suffered no bleed through. There's not even ghosting. Also, the book is able to lay flat which is a big plus for me. I like the faux suede leather cover, but I would be just as happy with the notebook without it. It doesn't add or take anything away for me. I have been carrying around notebooks for 20 years. I have tried many brands, from the most well-known to the cheapest generic brands. This is the notebook I'll be using from now on without question.

Very well made journal! Practical, usable and a good value!

Very sturdy, durable, wellmade and nice looking! Easy to hold and write in to take notes in Sunday School and church! I bought one, liked it and immediately ordered two more to keep for the future or give as a gift! It's easy to carry and I like the hardcover and the elastic strap which holds it closed to protect the pages. The pages are sturdy and thick. There is no bleed through or ghosting on the pages from the other side. Very good price for something so well made, practical and useable!

I don't know that I'll ever buy a different notebook. Exceeded my expectations. Love the colour of the page (won't miss the white pages). I've never used a notebook that has dots or dashes rather than lined pages. Its a lovely "in between" for blank pages and lined pages. LIke others have said the lovely leatherette feel for the cover is a lovely bonus and the pen holder useful. THE BEST part of it all is the quality of the paper. Thick enough that I have do bleed. I hate wrtiting on the other side where the bleeds shows now its a non-issue. The feel of the pen on this paper is simply incredible for the price of the notebook. So much so that even notes that I would normally use the laptop for I find myself reaching for the LEMONE as the writing experience is simply addictive. THanks LEMONE keep on doing what you are doing. Don't compromise!!

Great Book for any Purpose

Incredibly nice book!...super soft cover, nice lightly lined thick paper pages inside. Handy pen loop and a nice elastic strap for keeping your place plus a second string version for same purpose. Much more than I expected. I have made it my "Whatever I want it to be" book! Even has nice little tabs you can add on to mark your sections. You did a great job with this little book Lemome!

Sturdy, high quality notebook with a beautiful lay flat style and hard yet organic feeling cover.

I love this journal. It’s awesome. I wanted a journal with a lay flat feel because I cannot write on the left page well when a normal notebook is angled up. I decided to try this one based on its price and review. I am glad I did. I plan on stocking up on them so that I will never have to be looking for a journal to write in again. I highly recommend it. The paper quality is a lovely thick stock and the cover looks and feels like a nice leather bound book. The bookmark, closing band and penloop ensure that I am always able to grab, go, and continue where I left off. It seems odd, but writing in the journal makes me feel like a proper writer.

Great Notebook

I have been a Moleskine customer for a long time. I love Moleskine notebooks and I've seen a lot of brands trying to copy Moleskine, but none of them being able to. This being said, I think it's clear to everybody that the price of Moleskine is ridiculously high, and I have the impression (I can be wrong) that, with the time, they have also reduced the number of pages of the notebooks. This notebook has a great quality with a decent price if compared to a Moleskine. The paper is very similar to Moleskine's paper, with the difference that this has more pages than a Moleskine. I love the pen holder on the back of the notebook. It is very convenient when you move around for meetings and you bring only agenda and pen with you. The only downside note is that it comes only in one color, which is a sort of camel brown. I usually like black notebooks, however this is pretty elegant and business adaptable, so it works. I still think Moleskine is unique, and I'm sure I will buy by time to time their products, but this is a great option to consider, and I will definitively keep using it. Oh, as an additional note, delivery was super quick!

Beautifully made journal!

These notebooks or journals are in my opinion the best out there. They are so well made with beautiful paper. I like to use fountain pens in my journals and they perform perfectly on this high quality paper. I love that the pen loop is on the spine of the book rather than the open side. In short, I hope they are always readily available because I will be buying them for a long time.

Heavy duty notepad/ journal

I'll be honest it's probably been close to 15 years since I've kept a journal and I can say that this one is great. The best part, in my case, is the thickness of the pages so I can use a standard ink pen and not worry about it bleeding through. The cover feels like a suede-type material and is very "grippy". Makes it easier to write in awkward positions like in your lap or standing and have a better hold on the book. The pen loop on the spine is a nice addition so I won't loose my ink pen easily. All in all a great purchase!

Simple. High Quality. Good looking.

I've been using this notebook for about a month now. It's one of the best I've used! 1. It looks great! I love the colors and the way it looks. 2. The feel is great, it's well built and doesn't feel flimsy. You want to touch it and pick it up. 3. The pages have some weight behind them so if you are a heavy handed writer you won't bust through them. 4. When you open it the pages lay flat so it's easy to write. 5. Pen loop is a great way to carry your pen. The elastic seems high quality that won't stretch out soon. It's a pretty simple design, not thing fancy, but it seems very high quality. That's exactly what I was looking for, simple but quality. I would high recommend this notebook.
