These are perfect for removing hair from the drain. I consider them a single use item. It grabs that hair and it stays on there, very hard to remove the hair from the brush. Also when I removed the brush from the drain that crank handle wasn't of much use. I actually got pliers to pull it out, there was lots of hair on that brush. Well worth the money spent. Just long enough to remove that hair. If you have a deeper plug, this wouldn't work.

Context: I have been having difficulty with my bathroom tub for a little while, and a traditional snake was not fitting through the drain. I looked for something with a smaller diameter to get down deeper and pull out what I assumed was a clog of sorts. This did the trick. Not only did I use this product on my bathtub, I snaked all of my drains with it...even those that I had used a different snake for. This one pulled out more 'stuff' than the other one, and now all of my drains work perfectly. Pros Inexpensive solution Small diameter fits into tight spaces It works extremely well Cons One use and you will have to buy this product again the net time you want to snake a drain Tip: 1. Open Drain, use snake, and remove 'stuff' 2. pour baking soda into drain (i used like 1/4-1/2 C) 3. pour white vinegar into drain (I free-poured until all of the bubbles stopped) Drain will be snaked and clean following that...without the use of any expensive chemicals

Why did I wait so long to order this? My bathroom vanity sink has been slowly building a clog over the last 6 months to the point where the sink would pretty much fill and then take over 10 minutes to drain. I’ve been through several bottles of liquids drain cleaner - different brands, specific to hair clogs, etc- with little to no improvement. I happened to see the FlexiSnake Drain Weasel on a list of products to try and ordered it. Finally sorting out the drain was on my holiday to do list for tomorrow, but it’s already checked off - The package arrived this evening, the instructions looked easy enough, so I went for it. Drain completely cleared in about 5 minutes, the time it took me to use two wands. I love that I didn’t have to remove the drain plug to clear the clog as that's what I was dreading, fearing I wouldn’t be able to get it back together. The FlexiSnake Drain Weasel was slender enough it worked around the plug. I used two just to be sure I got everything and put the second on the opposite side. Loved that I could simply throw the wand away and be done with it. I bought the starter kit, so have 3 more left, ready to use next time. Super easy to use, instructions simple and clear, highly recommend!

This works! Type of drain we have causes build up of hair and soap gunk that doesn't clear with drain cleaner because the clog is hanging by the hair from the drain. This product pulls all the garbage out quite easily....drain is nice and clear until the gunk builds up again..no problem though...use product again....all clear!

IT WORKS!!! I was doubtful since it was so inexpensive, but figured I'd try it. I had already tried the baking soda, vinegar and hot water routine. I was so pleased it worked the first time, with me withdrawing a lot of hair! I am a single, senior woman and was able to clear my bathroom drain easily without having to ask for assistance from my adult children. Great sense of accomplishment! My bathroom drain does not come out and I was able to push the FlexiSnake through the space, twirl the handle easily, remove and voila! I repeated twice more to continue to clear the hair (as I have very long hair and brush over my sink). I have arthritic fingers, and this was so easy to use. This is a very handy little gadget!

Bathroom sink kept draining so slow and it was starting to bother me. I used one of the flexisnake and pulled out a huge chunk of hair (gross I know). I had to do that two more times so I suggest getting the multiple pack, because they are not reusable. Now my bathroom sink drains fine and I have a few extra left over for when it happens again.

When I first saw this little tool, I didn't think it would do much. BOY WAS I WRONG!! My sons and I both have long hair and both bathroom sinks were always getting clogged. I'd use an entire large jug or Drano or Liquid Plumber trying to dissolve the hair and it just never worked well. The clog would only be gone for a brief period. So after reading the reviews I took a chance on this. You will NOT be sorry. But WARNING - the first time you use it, and there's a lot of hair in there you might have a hard time removing it from the drain like I did. I hand to "backwards" crank it a couple times in the first sink in order to get it out. The little plastic wand was actually strong enough to "push" the clog through. When I went to re-use the same wand in the next sink, it was just as effective, but I almost didn't get it out because there was a real rat's nest in there. I didn't want it to break off in there, so I removed it from the crank and just kept working it up and down, back and forth. I could hear the sound of hair "ripping" like when you pull it out of a hair brush. Finally it came out and WOW what came with it was nasty. After cleaning the mass off the same wand I plunged it back thru both sinks and got rid of a bunch more. Now nothing comes out. Free flowing water again! I highly recommend this nifty little tool.

My wife and daughter have thick, beautiful hair. It's a blessing. However, one drawback is they shed like crazy (I don't know how they aren't bald!). That means I'm constantly disassembling pop-up drains and P-traps to pull out beaver pelts made of hair. I was struggling with one bathtub in particular and water was backing up to ankle depth after every shower. Very annoying. This product looked a little flimsy, but the reviews were good so I thought I'd try it. IT WORKS! (please see picture.) I was also able to pull crud out of another drain without removing the pop-up. I recommend it!

I have been living from pail to pail for 4 days and I tried everything and the kitchen sink would not unclog. I saw the ad for Green Gobbler on U Tube and took a chance and order it, got it. I didn't use it for 3 day letting the water drain as much as possible, I took the rest of the water out with paper towels, This morning I tried it one application then boiling water, nothing. I was so disappoint so I filled the sink to clean the conk that did come up. Went to my computer to check the weather for the next 5 day, (painting the exterior) when I went back to the kitchen to bail out the kitchen sink all the water was gone. I was in shock I couldn't close my mouth for 5 min. I was jumping for joy and then I said maybe it just drained a little ,I turned on the faucet and the drain was cleared , I love this stuff and I only used one application. Thank you, I will buy nothing else to keep all my drain clean. Gabi

Wow. Best thing ever. Seriously. I have had tweezers and sticks and plumbers and chemcials trying to get my master sink to drain. Plumber even said i need an entirely new faucet to get the drain plug part because they don't sell those separately. Well, I have 2 sinks, a tub and shower that all matches to that was not a valid solution. Doubt i can find the same model. So I bought this thing. Stuffed it down, pulled up hair and black muck. Did it about 8 times quickly, ran the water went right down the drain. Seriously. This is the best tool ever. best $12 I have ever spent. Everyone with a sink needs this tool. Seriously.
