LOVE THIS new pack. Get a lot of compliments on the colors. I needed an all round pack to replace my aging Camelback day pack. I needed something a little bigger which could carry lunch and water bottles for me, my wife & young daughter daughter on hikes, or could carry my sailing gear, or could be good when skiing, or could be my travel carry on. Seems like it does all these things well. The 3 diffferent compartments are really well sized. One for phones, keys, wallets, passports. One for all the medium sized stuff. And one for all the big stuff. The water bottle side holders are stretchy and perfectly expand to fit my king size Kleen Canteen, as well as my family's other bottles. The shoulder straps are very comfortable, and best of all, if you need to carry your computer or big tablet with you somewhere, the large main compartement has a well designed, padeed rigid interior sleeve exactly for it. Great pack. No negatives that I have seen so far.

Purchased this backpack for school. The major thing that drew me in was the carrying comfort and amount of space inside. This proves helpful in carrying my school uniform, shoes, stethoscope, laptop, BP cuff, binders, and not to mention, a plethora of textbooks! I've not had it for long enough to speak of its lasting durability, but I do expect great things, and will update! If this book bag is able to withstand all that pressure, I'll purchase again and again. Will update

Great bag. My high schooler can fit all of her things in it...bulging but it all fits. I like that the straps and back of the bag are VERY padded since she's carrying so much in it. Highly recommend. I had a North Face backpack I used for 5 years of high school/college. Still have it...the quality is hard to beat. Highly recommend.

I ordered this backpack for high school with the expectation that it would also be useful throughout college. Many of my friends have this backpack and gave great reviews on its durability and varied uses. The school year hasn't started yet but I've already been able to use this on hikes, while traveling, and while taking classes on a college campus. This backpack is the perfect size -- keep in mind you won't be able to fit more than one textbook, or probably more than two 1-inch binders -- it keeps me from carrying too heavy a load. The various sizes pockets are perfect for fitting your high school survival kit in it; the laptop sleeve and phone pocket is a must (but you can find this in many backpacks these days). Overall the bag is very comfortable, and the straps are easily adjusted. At first I thought the concept of a "womens" backpack was ridiculous, but it is nice to have a bag that is fit better for a more petite frame. I got mine in the dark purple color and it's the perfect mix of sporty and simple, so you don't look like you're about to embark on a 3 week backpacking trip.

I ordered the dramatic plum and black one. I love it. The color is a bit darker than in the picture which is perfectly fine it actually looks better in person than the picture. It's a great size, perfect for carrying a laptop and tablet and books and a jacket or sleeping bag on the front. I'm a nursing student so I have very heavy books and this has great support. This is the best backpack I've ever had.

This item shipped very fast, and was very safe in its packaging. Upon opening the package, I was very happy to see the backpack was delivered safely. Now onto the backpack itself. The large, main pocket is VERY spacious, it is able to fit a 15" laptop without issue in the sleeve, as well as enough space to fit a full gaming system. The secondary pocket has many different pockets perfect for different school supplies and storage. it also includes a medium sized felt pocket for a tablet, and a small felt pocket for a phone. The final pocket is lined in felt to keep sunglasses or any other sensitive item safe. I love the exterior of the bag because the material allows it to be water resistant, which works perfectly when walking between buildings on a rainy day. It also includes a chest strap, waist strap, and side straps which allows the bag to perfectly fit your body for skateboarding, biking, rock climbing, or any other physical activity. This bag is perfect for any active, outgoing, college student. Its also very reliable and resilient. That is why I rated this product five stars.

An overall great bag would recommend to anyone looking for something of this size and type. Pros: -Very protective laptop sleeve, that can be used to keep other things. -Water bottle nets fit pretty big bottles I use a Nathan Sports Water Bottle 32oz bottle daily. -Plenty of space for books. - Straps to keep things tightly compacted -Good color selection, I got the red and "asphalt" one. Looks dope. Cons: -Front most pocket could use some straps/compartments to keep things tight.

Awesome backpack. I used to only spend $20-30 on my backpacks but this was worth the extra cash. It keeps my laptop and books dry in the rain. Also, it is a huge backpack. I can basically fit anything I need to. I love this backpack for its looks, size, and adaptability. 10/10.

To the right in the picture is the bag that I just bought; the bag on the left I have owned for years - it’s the Jester II. The new bag - the Borealis - is a lot tougher, and provides more room for storage. Just what I was looking for

I use this backpack as my carry on and it's perfect! It can hold a lot of items and it's great to carry on your back through the airport. The added support traps help in keeping my back from aching when I have it loaded down. I also like the cords on the front to fold up my jacket and store there so if my destination is colder than where I am flying from I won't have to pull a jacket out of my suitcase once I receive my luggage. I like the padded pocket for your iPad and laptop. If you're an organize freak like I am then you will enjoy all the different compartments and pockets for everything you can think of. It's also nice the way it is laid out for quickly being able to pull your laptop and iPad out for security check and quickly put it back in it's place once through security. I would definitely recommend this backpack to anyone who likes to travel.
