Perfect
Perfect for me. The strainer in the kitchen sink that came with my new apartment I could sometimes get to stop the water if I played with it for a few minutes but that got old pretty quick. Even when I did get it to work the water still slowly leaked out. This stopper is well made, fit in perfectly, and completely stops the water with no slow leaking at all.

This thing really works!
I have been struggling for years with water trickling through the kitchen sink drain as I do dishes I want to hand wash in the garbage disposal side. I first tried a new metal stopper similar to the one that came with the sink. That didn't work. Then I found a plastic plug that worked for awhile but then became stiff and stopped working. So when I saw this heavy-duty looking plug I decided to give it a try. This thing is great! The rubber edges really grip and stop the water completely. I've been interrupted in my task and when I returned to the sink, all the water is still there. That has never happened before! As an added bonus, the stainless steel part of this stopper perfectly matches the "patina" on my old stainless steel sink. ;) Well worth the price for something that makes me happy daily.

Works like a charm!q
We got our house and it came with a sink that didn't have plugs. 15 years later and many different plugs purchased and we still couldn't find one that held water. This stopper is a life saver! I was getting ready to buy a new kitchen sink just so I could have stoppers that fit, but now I don't need to, I just need to purchase another one for the other side.

Stops!
Works really well, and it truly stops the water from going down. I left water in the sink overnight just to see and in the morning, sure enough, the water level was at the same exact spot. I have an older sink and the suction this provides I can actually use that to clear out the sink if I pump the air in and out of the drain and it pushes things up the other side. A little added bonus.

Works like a champ.
Kids just moved into an apartment and the disposal side of the kitchen sink needed a nicer stopper. The existing stopper was hard plastic, had white paint drips on it, was chipped, and didn't stop up the sink. I bought this because I have one like it and I love mine. It took ages for me to realize very snug pretty stoppers were even available to buy. So I removed their yucky stopper to below their sink and put this one next to the sink. The flexibility of the rubber and the quality of it makes it last years and work perfectly. I've had mine for many years and it looks exactly the same. That's the quality of stainless steel. It looks the same year after year. Their disposal was insinkerator like mine and bingo. Fits perfectly.

Makes a tight seal, yet is easy to remove... Works great
This sink stopper works great at keeping the water in the sink. Our sink drain is a standard size and it fits perfectly. The edge is rubberized, so it makes a tight seal. The handle is easy to grip and the stopper pulls out easily when needed. We also use it on the garbage disposal side when things start getting a little smelly. Keeps the odors down. If we want the sink to drain slowly or to keep large debris from going down the drain, we pull the stopper up and let it sit on top of the drain at a slight angle. Great product.

Stop! Stop! They're so nice!
Most modern kitchen sink drains are this dimension--both on the garbage disposal side and the "rinse" side. These are well made items that work very effectively. Unlike most kitchen sink stoppers that rest on top of the drain opening and extend upwards into the sink when you're doing dishes, these fit down into the large opening and seal the smaller opening above the garbage disposal or "rinse" sink drain strainer. In other words they seal the drain without extending upwards into the sink full of water. Liked the first one so well I ordered 2 more so as to always have at least one on hand. ;-)

A Great Little Stopper with a good rubber seal!
We're very pleased with this sink stopper! We've looked for some time for a good sturdy stainless steel stopper with rubber seal (NO plastic) so was delighted to find yours. It works perfectly with no water leaking down the drain when in place. I've ordered 2 more from you & am storing them till needed (when the rubber ages..about 2 years usually) as we use it often with just the 2 of us (no dishwasher).

I saw this on Amazon-with good reviews.
Buy This One-Period ! My mother-in-law recently came to live with us and was used to using a sink stopper that held water in the sink. We had previously used the sink stopper that we had -but it wasn't very effective. I bought a couple at the local hardware stores -- might as well used the old stopper ! I saw this on Amazon-with good reviews....so it arrived and I put it in the sink- I thought it worked kinda slick ! . I showed it to my mother -in law and she has used it for 3 days...this morning over coffee she said how nice the new sink stopper worked . Small things I know-- but I liked the fact that she was happy with the new stopper. She gets around ok-she keeps busy- like helping as much as she can around the house. So --if your mother-in-law comes to live with you-- Buy this stopper ! Smiling...small things !

Some things just plain work. This is one of them.
This stopper is priced about $1 less than a replacement gasket for an InSinkErator stopper or similar item. I find that a bit sad because I don't like wasting things, but we have to take care of ourselves. I kept the old stopper in hopes that one day I might encounter a gasket at a reasonable price. It wouldn't be bad to have two functional stoppers, one for each side of the sink. Just buy this. It works.
