Works great - Fit my 2007 335i automatic

Great part for my 2007 335i. The double D gasket had some plastic from the mold that I didn’t like, so a quick razor blade pass on the inside cleaned up the plastic bits that might fall out when pressurized fluid is flowing through it. The Mecatronics seal is so difficult to get to. If you have large hands, good luck. You might have to remove the exhaust, or remove the transmission mount to get to it. Considering the pricing savings, this was a great buy. Make sure to buy the 4- seals while doing these gaskets as well. It’s hugely beneficial for people to change the solenoids to new ones as well. Shifts become much smoother usually. XHP on an android with an INPA cable makes the shifts lightning fast, and it’s really worth the money if you drive your car in manual mode. Make sure to change the pan and the fluid as well, either ZF lifeguard, or Ford Mercon SP (same fluids).

perfect fit, fixed my issue

I had rough shifting into first, then it wouldn't shift into first at all. I looked around the internet a bit and found that this was a common issue on higher milage BMWs (mine is > 100k miles) luckily when the old seal failed, the car was in its spot in the garage. It takes a bit to drain the transmission, remove the filter pan (which incidentally I had just replaced a few months ago), pull out the mechatronics, swap the sleeves out, then reassemble and fill the fluid, but sure enough when I pulled the old one out, it was cracked through on one side. This slipped right into place, as well fitting as the original, and totally solved the issue.
