Holds Tooling as It Should
Excellent quality for the price. Holds bits exactly right, and the overall tolerances are more than acceptable. For the price, can't go wrong.

Great turning tools for the price. AccuSize is my new favorite tool provider.
Decent quality tools at the price. The tool shanks are stout, the slots are great and the carbide fits perfectly. I really have liked all of the Accusize tools i've gotten. The quality has been great, the carbide good and overall fit and finish quite excellent. That said... I had good luck with the carbide and all turning and facing tools, but i've broken the parting/grooving tool in its second use. I was plunging into some 2" 6061 at medium pressure when the lower part of the tool that holds the carbide insert snapped off. Machine didn't blink and it took me a minute to figure out what the noise was because I didn't think whatsoever that it was the tool breaking. I wasn't even using much force... I mean, we're talking 6061. For parting, I think i'm going to stay with solid HSS or thick HSS with a brazed tip. You have to have an absolutely rigid setup for parting and my thought is the chip started to chatter and vibrate and quickly got loose and caused failure. I am really on the fence between a 4 and 5 star on this one. I like the tools, I like the price and like the overall product - getting your tools in boxes vs the dumb plastic sleeve is a very nice touch and fantastic for storage once you collect many tools. Im wondering if the grooving/parting tool was a fluke? Operator error? I mean, parting isn't my favorite thing to do, but I do believe I am going to put this breakage as a result of operator error. I'll buy a 1/2" set and see how that goes. Outsize of that, all of the other tools have been great. I don't like that you only get a single piece of carbide for each, but you have multiple tips on each chip which helps. I'd buy these again, thats for sure.

Excellent Quality
Very nice cutting tools. The geometry of the carbide blades are far superior than the triangular ones you find on less expensive cutting tools. The length of the shank is great too so you can secure the tool better. Gives a great finish!

Very good quality for the price
The turning tools all work as intended are deburred and finished as they should be. Insert name and screw size are etched on the side. Very good quality for the price

Good tools at good prices
Very nice tooling for the price. I find that all these tools cut very well. I had a slight issue with one of the cutting tips when I received the tools. Accusize was eager to correct the problem.

Great for the value!
Great tools! Use these constantly on a Hardinge tool room lathe with nothing but success. Inserts are good quality and so are the holders.

Hells Yeah
Love love LOVE these tool holders! I'm a tool & die maker and just needed a decent little set (the shop set is so beat up, i wanted my own) and it seems I picked the right one with these! Not a single complaint.

Great set of tools.
Well worth the money. I'm a 10 year machinist and have used a lot of inserted tooling on larger lathes. I bought this set for a small Hardinge. I've used all but the threading tool, and I was impressed with each. I've used mainly on A2, D2, and 4140. I haven't owned them very long, but I honestly haven't noticed a difference with these and higher end makers. Maybe time will tell, a lot of bang for the buck though.
