UPDATE! I originally gave this item a 3 star review because the yogurt button didn't work. Well the company contacted me and let's just say that their customer service is AMAZING! They sent me a new unit free of charge. All I had to do was return the defective one after I received the new one. I now how a fully functional unit. I really appreciate good customer service. This unit is great and makes perfect rice. I used it last night to keep bean dip warm after first using the sauté function to cook it. The inner pot cleans up very well.

Love it .

I always research a lot before purchasing product, and this is the perfect for me and my husband for two. Even we ate, we still have some left over. I thought this cooker is more smaller, but when I got this. It is pretty big size for me, since it is bigger than my rice cooker what I have. (I am very wondering more bigger cooker like 8 - 10 quarts, how GIANT is gonna be ?! 2 quarts is sounds small, but this cooker body is big for me) But I love this cooker and perfect for our RV trip. I am happy it came with inner rid and some other items also. I watched many videos from You Tube, and I chose this one. And good price with this good enough functions and accessaries, too. Just when I got this product, the behind part (screw) of the rid (anti-clog filter) was loosen and fell once when I opened the box and take it out from the box. I worried if I lose it, but luckily I found it soon and easy to put it back on. I made sure attached good enough, and not fell anymore. So when you open and take it out from the box, nice to check it out behind the rid screw is okay. This is my first pressure / slow cooker for me, I still love this cooker.

Easy to Use!

I have never written a review for anything I have purchased off of Amazon, but I feel I should write one on this product. I don't cook....it isn't that I can't cook, it is just that I work full time, have two little kids, and also a husband that works 14+ hours a day. The definition of me "cooking" is frozen meals, mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, hot dogs etc....nothing extravagant or healthy I know. In searching pressure cookers, I saw this Cosori on Amazon and added it to my cart. I LOVE this item. It is sooo easy and convenient. Homemade meals are a breeze!! I don't have to wait for water to boil or even for my oven to overcook food as I am busy with my kids and forgot to check on the food. The Cosori is my hero right now. The only regret I have is not buying a bigger one. I didn't realize this was the "mini" (my own fault). It works good for our family of four, however, there aren't really any leftovers to eat the next day....about enough for one of us. If you are in a time crunch for making meals, this is definitely a must have. I couldn't be more happy with this product.

Just the perfect size for me!!

I love this little appliance! I have used for making rice and now yogurt and it did both meals perfectly. I just added the ingredients to the bowl, shut the lid, and set the menu, and walked away. Simple to cook with so far. The first time I cooked rice, I did not use a spray of oil to coat the side and plus I want par-cooked rice and used half the water you would normally use. The rice stuck to all the sides of the pot but it was a snap to clean. It looks like it is brand new. And making yogurt was a snap and came out perfect!! This pot is a gem and a keeper!!! 1 month later... I have used the rice cooker function a couple more times and the rice came out perfect each time! I also tried it out for a beef stew using the sautee and slow cook cycles. The stew was done in such a short time and the meat was so tender. I make homemade yogurt regularly now and it is so yummy and easy to do. AND it is so easy to clean! I just love this pot!!

Going strong after a year of use! Great for working couple.

Have had this little gem for a year now. It is GREAT! Perfect for one or two people. Cooks just about everything, no more standing at the stove watching rice cook. Cooks vegetables to perfection and meats come out tender and full of flavor. There are some great recipes on the COSORI website for first time users but you will soon feel comfortable using this pot to cook your favorite recipes. This is great for the working couple, within 20 to 30 minutes you will have a great, from scratch, meal. I highly recommend this little pot for the small jobs.

Very nice pot！

I was looking for a small electronic pressure pot with preset functions to serve my own meal and this is what I found. Good pot！Very convenient and quiet，easy to cook and clean，which made me become interested in cooking. I am still exploring all the functions. I have cooked the congee with beans，beef with tomato. And the 2 quart size is perfect for myself. There are 2 things to note，the inner is nonsticky for 2 quart，it would be better if it is in stainless iron，yet very easy to clean. The other is you should definitely wash it before the first use，since it is a new pot，but the smell would go away after the third use. Recommend it to everyone！

Excellent cooker. The valve is brilliant

I have been using pressure cookers for a long time and I am familiar with many of the designs. The Cosori 2qt is one of the best for sure. I used it as a slow cooker and pressure cooker, made rice and beef stew both turned good. Excellent cooker. The valve is brilliant, you do not have to worry about the steam burning your fingers, it shoots away from you by a gentle push to the top button. It is a peace of mind. if you have someone who is new to pressure cookers, this one would be a great start.

Two reasons to love this cooker

My husband and I love this cooker. We are both quite accomplished in the kitchen... its our time to be together and do the cooking dance. This little cooker has added greatly to our fun. We are happy to give a 5 star review for two very important reasons. The first is the cooker itself - simple, effective, and fun to use. There are no downsides. Yes, like others, we would have liked a stainless steel inner pot, but the non stick is highest quality material and not the stuff that is bad for you. Also, we have been informed that a stainless inner pot is in the works and will be available to purchase later. I would actually not be surprised if Cosori even gives a discount for this new pot to existing users. The reason for this statement is the second reason we love this product - Customer Service. When you speak with customer service it is like talking with your best big sister who just plain loves you. Really. You get this feeling. We had to connect with customer service and it was pure fulfillment. As happy people who like to cook, and who like to interact with happy people, we can't think of any reason why not to buy this useful, enjoyable, dynamo. Thank you Cosori - you inspired this review through your natural sweetness and your quality product.

It is perfect for a couple - especially for travel.

I got it recently and started using it for Indian cooking. It works very well and does the job. As with any machine, you have to get to know it before you can use optimally. The first time I tried it out of the box, steam leaked from the sides and it did not build enough pressure to cook. Then I did what I usually do with my Indian pressure. I held the underside of the lid under water to wet the washer, then positioned it back on the cooker. You hear slight 'woosh' as it forms the seal. Never had a problem since. No escaping steam, works silently and cooks perfectly. It is perfect for a couple - especially for travel. Even the ready-made Indian meals from Haldiram, MTR and other brands taste authentic when the Saute function is used (I cannot say the same when they are microwaved). I consider this is a good buy. I hope it is durable because I intend to use it a lot. Also, I tried out the yoghurt maker. It works well. Boil whole milk, cool to 100F, pour into cooker, add in the starter (for me from the previous batch of yoghurt), turn cooker on and set to YOGHURT. Even though minimum time is 6 hours, it makes thick yoghurt in about 5 hours.

Poor support until reviewed, then replacement sent immediately

I purchased the 6 quart model early last year and enjoyed using it. When I saw the 2 quart model, I thought it would be very handy for certain dishes that don't require a large pot. After about 3 uses, the pot stopped heating. Unfortunately, the 30 day period for return had passed, by about 2 weeks, so I wrote to Support at Cosori. They responded very quickly and promised to send me a replacement, asking for my shipping address. I sent them my address, asked if I should return the non-working pot, and never heard from them again. I sent follow up emails which were either not responded to or which bounced back to me. It was like the support team had disappeared. Very disappointed. My 6 quart model has continued to work well. Update: After the above review I was contacted by customer support and a new mini cooker was quickly sent to me. I haven't used it yet but will assume it will work as well as my 6 quart model and update the star rating to 5. If I experience otherwise over time, I will update this review again.
