I bought this as the perfect size for an outdoor package/mail delivery spot (I'm an avid Amazon shopper and nothing ever fits in my mailbox!) The first step is to attach the sides to the bottom and I was struggling like crazy to get it to "snap" together. I put things together all the time but this one was fighting me. I called customer service at Keter and a wonderful woman there gave me a tip I will pass along....... Make sure you have the bottom piece standing up just as it shows in the instructions. The smoother more finished looking side goes to the inside of the box. You should be able to slide the sides up against the bottom until the slots on the sides line up with the tab on the bottom. Mine snapped into place with a little helpful slap of my hand. Once you have the sides on, the rest is a piece of cake. Took me less than 15 minutes.

I've got this out at my property storing some "high value" stuff that I haven't had time to mess with yet. It's kept an 80 dollar queen size mattress heating pad completely dry and mold proof for about a year now. It's VERY water/bug/mice/whatever proof. But make sure it closes all the way. It's a bit of a pain to open (I squeeze my legs on both sides to keep it in place and lift the lid). but that means it definitely closes tightly - just make sure you push it all the way down. It's had soaked fabric, rusty nails, and other "harmful" things sit on top of it for weeks/months on end. but it all just wipes off and doesn't look any worse for the wear. Seems very well made. Definitely seals things up well. and I'm pretty happy with the purchase. It certainly stores things much better than a rubbermaid storage bench and another cheapish storage bin.

I bought two instead of one large storage bin. These are just the right size for my pool chemicals and gardening supplies. They assemble easily in only a few minutes. At first, I was concerned that the lid didn't lay square to the box, but discovered that the lid snaps closed at two points along the front. Once they sat closed for a while, the lid seemed to adjust itself. I always snap it closed anyway to keep out critters and rain. They look tidy, hide the clutter, and seem like they will hold up well.

Easy to assemble once I made sure the sides were in the correct position. Box assembles with clever snap in place tabs. lid hinges assemble with four screws , seems fairly sturdy. Easy to assemble. After a hard rainfall, the inside of the box was completely dry. Top is flat and can be a seat, but instructions says not to stand on. Haven't sat on much. Lid has a couple of friction snaps to hold shut- a bit stiff at first, but getting easier now. I like them very much. I bought two, one of the boxes holds 2 22x22 cushions, the other 2 cushions 22x25. the other box holds two cushions 18x18 and I inserted a cardboard divider(made from shipping box) to separate so other side of this second box could hold my BBQ accesssories- bag of charcoal, starter, utensils. Worked out great. Total box with contents lighter than expected. Use both as a table , and easy to move around on deck (more flexible than one big box).

Love it! I was afraid to buy it, but honestly-its so awesome that I bought another one right after receiving this one! It was super easy for me to put together. Took about 5 minutes, (if I can do it, anyone can. I'm a pretty basic, latte-loving, soccer mom chic!). It was actually way bigger than I thought it would be and it holds all of my many pool toys & floats. I bought the 2nd one to hold some gardening tools. Very pleased.

I love this deck box!! It arrived on time and snapped together very easily. The only parts that needed a Phillip's head screwdriver were the hinges and they went together very easily. I spent under 10 minutes assembling. This stores the covers for my deck furniture, 2 deck lanterns, plus some outdoor toys. The lid is flat and stays down during high winds. The hinges are stiff enough that it stays open when you're loading it. It's cube shape isperfect for my 16x16 deck-- it holds a lot but doesn't take up a ton of space. I highly recommend it!

Talk about functional AND looking good at the same time AND a price that beats any other place online or in stores! These are perfect to hold our outdoor chair cushions in one and some throw blankets and pillows in the other. They were super easy to snap together and are very sturdy. We've had several downpours and they haven't leaked a bit.

The product arrived intact, all pieces included and well packaged. If it doesn't snap together easily you probably have the floor facing the wrong way. My lid separated slightly by the hinges, perhaps after sitting on it? It matches the Keter Rio patio set in whiskey brown as well as my Keter Urban Garden.

Purchased this to hold patio furniture covers for two loveseats and an umbrella. More than enough room to drop them in without much folding. Assembly is not without its quirks but about ten minutes or less and this was together. The bottom piece needs to be placed properly so the sides snap in; some had an issue with this but careful observation will show the protrusions over which the sides snap. Once that's done the back and front are easy. 4 screws hold each of the the hinges on and I think the screws will strip if tightened too much, so caution is suggested when tightening. That is the bane with most plastics and screws. Threaded metal inserts would have been a better construction choice since the hinges are metal anyway. The top had a crack on one side and was separating on the other. A call to Keter promptly had a new top on the way; excellent customer service. I can't fault manufacturing for the damage as the box is pretty hefty and as always gets the hard treatment from UPS or whomever, so who knows why it was cracked. This has a large FLAT top so it can be used to hold just about anything. All in all a nice addition to the patio. Update: Received the new top from Keter in record time and the box is perfect. Wish every company had customer service like this!

This is a really nice, heavy duty (wintertime in Hot 'Lanta), outside storage box. The specs for floor loading are very conservative; I was able to place a 1kW gas generator (see pic), plus nine small-ish (5lb.?) paving stones (don't ask me why), inside with no sweat. One comment about assembly: don't be in a hurry. Lay everything out, step-by-step, and compare your parts layout with the pictures in the instructions before snapping parts together. It's not difficult if you follow the steps, but ... ya gotta follow the steps (and illustrations). Took me 30 mins., but I took my time.
