The lens hood not only fits perfectly but is exactly what I was expecting! I was surprised that I even like the microfiber cloth. I will be using this product a lot.

Works great.

Works great with my D5500 18-55mm and my 70-30mm lenses. As some have stated sometimes you have to mess with the ring a bit to make it fit. Once you figure out that the hood turns independently you are good to go. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why one hood fit perfectly and one didn't.

Good product

I've needed these for a bit. All my shots outside had light leak unless I took it from an angle I didn't like as much. These help a lot to reduce glare coming from the sides or directly above.

Great for reducing sun glare when shooting in direct sunlight

Super amateur photographer here, not going to give some long spiel about things I don't know about. That said, these fit perfectly on the kit lenses that came with my camera, and they completely get rid of the glare from the sun when shooting in direct sunlight, like at the beach. They also work perfectly in tandem with UV filters, and both can be attached at the same time. I found it somewhat amusing that these came with a microfiber cloth when they don't have any glass in them to clean, whereas the UV filters I ordered didn't come with a cloth and do have glass to clean. Great, cheap addons for the camera bag, would recommend.

Great lens hood!

I’m a professional photographer and recently lost my lens hood. I found this double pack which worked awesome for the selection of lenses I own. I didn’t even realize that they have an adjustable ring which allows you to change the rotation and adjust the tightness of the fit. Very happy with these!

Lens shade

This purchase was a mistake on my part. Only one of the two actually fits my camera. My bad. The one that does work is perfect and now I have one for each lens in my camera case. I have 4.

Great Customer Service Big Mike's!

My review is based more on after the fact follow up from the vendor than the product itself. The lens hood for the 55m did not stay on. I didn't realize there is a small, adjustable ring that can be adjusted to where you want it to sit, or it can be removed. I contacted Big Mike's to tell them it would not stay on and got an immediate response telling me how to adjust the ring, making it usable. Although it was an inexpensive item, I did not want to disregard my purchase and appreciated the timely response from Big Mike's. I will feel confident in making another purchase from this vendor in the future. BTW, the lens hoods are the quality I expected too.

Great customer service and good price

These are a good value for the money and I recommend this seller. The 55mm fit with no problem but I had some trouble with the 58 mm as there was a small defect that wouldn't allow me to screw it onto the lens. I contacted the seller and they sent a new hood in a few days that worked fine. They didn't require a return of the defective part - just sent me a replacement. I was so pleased I ordered a set for my boyfriend too.
